Your pup’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We have a securely fenced yard where your dog can enjoy outdoor time, but we will always supervise them while they’re outside. Inside, they’re welcome to make themselves completely at home — including cuddling up on the couch or sleeping on the bed with us. We only host one family’s dogs at a time, so your pup gets our full attention without having to share our home with unfamiliar dogs. We also do not have children, creating a calm and comfortable environment where your dog can settle in and feel at ease. We’ll follow your pup’s routines, preferences, and house rules as closely as possible so they feel safe, happy, and well cared for throughout their stay.
About: I volunteered at Haven Humane Society in Redding for three years, where I gained a lot of experience caring for both cats and dogs. While I was there, I helped clean and sanitize their areas, walked dogs, and spent time socializing with the cats. In my personal life, I have a kitty who is my pride and joy! He does well with other animals and has definitely made my love for animals even stronger. I also had a dog who recently passed away. I had her since she was a puppy and helped train and care for her throughout her life, so I’m very familiar with the puppy world and all the patience and attention that comes with it! I’ve always loved animals and know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of your pets. I would treat every pet I care for like they were my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m currently a student at Butte College, so my schedule gives me plenty of time to care for and spend time with your furry friends! I usually have classes in the mornings, so most afternoons and evenings are free. This gives me lots of time for walks, playtime, feeding, check-ins, and making sure your pets get plenty of attention throughout the day. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I’m happy to work with you and your pet’s normal routine! I know how important it is to trust the person taking care of your pets, so I’ll always do my best to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with me. For boarding, I’ll make sure your pet has a comfortable and safe space in my home, along with plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks. I do have a cat of my own who does well with other animals, so I will always make sure everyone is introduced safely and is comfortable around each other. For dog walking, I’ll make sure your dog is secure on their leash and follow any instructions you have for their walks. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll respect your space, follow your pet’s normal routine, and make sure everything is clean and secure before I leave. I’m also more than happy to send pictures and updates while your pet is with me because I know how nice it is to know your furry friend is safe and being taken care of!
About: I’ve been taking care of pets as a job since I was 10. However, I have grown up from birth around many different animals in my household. Ranging from dogs to turtles, I’ve had it all! I am a college student looking for any work I can get! I currently have a very open, flexible schedule and am willing to work around yours too! Growing up around pets my whole life, I have many tricks and solutions to get dogs to listen in order to assure their safety with me.

Will is like my child and I worry when we are away, but I know if he is with Forest (and Norma-who Will absolutely adores) I KNOW he is getting the best possible care. About: I had my own cat named Jesse for 16 years. He was the love of my life. My best friend, child and ruled the home. I work as a caregiver part time so I make my own schedule. I am home most of the time available to give loving attention. I live in a very pet friendly community with a large courtyard. Many dogs and cats live here. California Park Lake is across the street.
