I've been the only house/dog sitter for a pair of Dalmatians for the last 5 years. I've handled puppies that are still working on becoming housebroken as well as senior dogs that need regular medication and extra care. I do in-home tech support/ IT work. When a customer's animals have warmed up to me, I've been asked if I did pet sitting as well. It feels good when the pet picks you. I live in Galt and have been driving all the way to the Greenhaven/Pocket area in the mornings before work (in Elk Grove) for daycare. During our meet and greet I got to see her very well kept home and her two adorable little girls who did very well with my big excited puppy. She sent pictures of Drake romping around her yard and playing with another dog who is currently being boarded with her. She was honest with me letting me know any behaviors that she had to correct and I’m thankful that she is knowledgeable in dog behavior. I will be using her on a weekly basis... especially since my dog didn’t want to leave when I came to pick him up! I work as a in-home Care Service and I enjoy my work I worked hard enough to find time to take care of my kitten and the rest of world. Cat powers, woof! I usually let them free roam but if they have to be in the crate either you or I can use a crate for your services the usual clean floor and dog mats or dog trainer pads and kitty litter will be available respectively.

I'm semi-retired and take advantage of our beautiful central coast daily, either walking, hiking, or playing on the beach. We start our day in the morning with a nice sniff, play, or zoomie time on the property. After breakfast we'll do a walk on the beach, a hike (depending on your pet) or playtime on the property. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.
About: I was raised on a ranch in Texas with over 2000 stock to care for as a young child and teen. I not only love animals, but I have cared for all kinds of exotic, wildlife, and domestic animals. On top of caring for other friends and family members' pets for over a decade now. I have a Mane Coon cat and a Maltipoo now that I care for daily outside of caring for other fur babies. I have a very flexible schedule due to only being a provider of pet services. I live in a 3 story home with no yard. However, we do have a very nice pet-assigned area for bathroom needs on top of the most beautiful walking grounds you could ask for being a pet owner. We do not smoke. We have wood floors throughout our home. Pets are allowed on my furniture. Your pet will be treated like our pet and we would always put safety & happiness first.

About: Starting June 19th, 2026, I will be able to provide full time pet care if that is needed for more anxious pets! ———— I have extensive knowledge of exotic animals too! A bit about me: I have loved animals since I was a kid. I was a vet assistant at a local vet hospital. After working in the field for about 5 years, I wanted to try something else and transitioned to pet sitting. With my vet experience, I can spot subtle signs of illness, can give eye drops, oral medication, and injectable medications. Working at a vet hospital also means I worked with a wide array of different dog (and cat!) breeds and temperaments. Special accommodations can be made to ensure everyone’s safety (within reason). I am familiar with the more stubborn and hard headed breeds, even owning some of them in the past. I also have basic obedience training knowledge, so I can help with puppy training. I of course love all pets, but I have a special place in my heart for senior pets! You can guarantee patient and gentle care will be provided to them. Starting June 19th, 2026 I will be doing dog walking and pet sitting full time. Therefore, I will be able to accommodate most schedules, even for the more anxious and clingy pets out there. If your pet cannot be left alone for more than 4-5 hours, an additional fee will be added to the booking. You can rest easy knowing you pet will be treated like family in the comfort of their own home. For you — I can do some light housekeeping, bring in the mail/packages, and take care of any houseplants. Boarding clients can expect a tidy house and side yard potty access. 20-30 minute walk included per day. I can provide puzzle toys and frozen kongs on hot days with owner permission. Boarding requests are taken on a case by case basis, as I have two dogs of my own. They get along well with other dogs, but I would like to see how everyone interacts with each other before agreeing to anything. Boarded pets will also need proof of vaccination. As a pet owner myself, I know it can be hard entrusting your pet, as well as your home, to someone unfamiliar. My goal is to always keep your place looking as untouched as possible, if not better than how you left it. I have pet caregiver insurance as well, for additional piece of mind. Both your home and pets are covered.

I've been the only house/dog sitter for a pair of Dalmatians for the last 5 years. I've handled puppies that are still working on becoming housebroken as well as senior dogs that need regular medication and extra care. I do in-home tech support/ IT work. When a customer's animals have warmed up to me, I've been asked if I did pet sitting as well. It feels good when the pet picks you. My working schedule is very flexible, I'm usuably able to adjust it to make sure I'm available to see to your pet's needs. If I commit to caring for your critters they will be my scheduling priority. I don't have pets in my own home. When house/pet sitting, besides feeding, walking and picking up after the pets I'm capable of handling household issues that might come up.

I'd prefer to use your crate to make your dog feel more at home, but I have a small and large crate available for dogs that don't have one. Small Animals (birds and rabbits) are kept in a separate room the entire stay. They will not have any interaction with any dog in the house.
