About: Starting June 19th, 2026, I will be able to provide full time pet care if that is needed for more anxious pets! ———— I have extensive knowledge of exotic animals too! A bit about me: I have loved animals since I was a kid. I was a vet assistant at a local vet hospital. After working in the field for about 5 years, I wanted to try something else and transitioned to pet sitting. With my vet experience, I can spot subtle signs of illness, can give eye drops, oral medication, and injectable medications. Working at a vet hospital also means I worked with a wide array of different dog (and cat!) breeds and temperaments. Special accommodations can be made to ensure everyone’s safety (within reason). I am familiar with the more stubborn and hard headed breeds, even owning some of them in the past. I also have basic obedience training knowledge, so I can help with puppy training. I of course love all pets, but I have a special place in my heart for senior pets! You can guarantee patient and gentle care will be provided to them. Starting June 19th, 2026 I will be doing dog walking and pet sitting full time. Therefore, I will be able to accommodate most schedules, even for the more anxious and clingy pets out there. If your pet cannot be left alone for more than 4-5 hours, an additional fee will be added to the booking. You can rest easy knowing you pet will be treated like family in the comfort of their own home. For you — I can do some light housekeeping, bring in the mail/packages, and take care of any houseplants. Boarding clients can expect a tidy house and side yard potty access. 20-30 minute walk included per day. I can provide puzzle toys and frozen kongs on hot days with owner permission. Boarding requests are taken on a case by case basis, as I have two dogs of my own. They get along well with other dogs, but I would like to see how everyone interacts with each other before agreeing to anything. Boarded pets will also need proof of vaccination. As a pet owner myself, I know it can be hard entrusting your pet, as well as your home, to someone unfamiliar. My goal is to always keep your place looking as untouched as possible, if not better than how you left it. I have pet caregiver insurance as well, for additional piece of mind. Both your home and pets are covered.
“Holly was absolutely amazing. Me and my fiance dropped off Maggie not knowing what to expect but she had a blast with plenty of room to run and sniff. “Meghan was wonderful. While my husband and I were traveling, she kept us updated with pics and how our two cats were doing. Our babies mean everything to us and it was such a relief to see that they were comfortable with her. When we got back from our travels we were pleased to see our home left in great condition and my babies were safe. Thank you Meghan!”

“Sara did a great job for their first drop-in engagement with Leo and Phoebe. They followed directions well, including play time, administering medication, feeding, litter box hygiene and sending me updates. They were easy to communicate with and helped to transition Leo to new food and medication while I was out of town. I will be rebooking them. Thanks Sara!”

“Francyne is the best. She had the patience to wait for Nugget to come out of hiding. I hope to use her again. I felt at ease knowing Francyne was checking in on Nugget. She was able to get a picture of Nugget both days.”

About: One thing that makes my home different is that I intentionally only care for up to two guest dogs at a time. Unlike larger boarding setups, this means your dog receives the individual attention, affection, and supervision they deserve—not just another spot in a crowded home. I’ve been caring for animals for over 30 years and have loved them since I was five years old, when I got my first cat. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages—from energetic puppies to sweet senior pets—and I’m comfortable with all breeds. I’ve also cared for many pets for family, friends, and Rover clients, giving me experience with a wide range of personalities and needs. Because I work remotely, I’m home for most of the day, so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods. My home is calm, safe, and full of love, playtime, cuddles, and walks. I’m also comfortable administering medication and pride myself on being reliable, patient, and attentive. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and preferences to help them feel comfortable and secure. My goal is simple: for your pet to feel like they’re staying with family while you’re away, and for you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re receiving the care and attention they deserve. Because I work remotely, I’m home most of the day, which makes pet care a natural part of my daily routine. I start my mornings with a walk or playtime, and I take regular breaks throughout the day to give pets attention, cuddles, and outdoor time. Evenings are usually calm and cozy — perfect for a relaxing stroll or some quiet time together. My flexible schedule means I can easily adapt to your pet’s needs, whether that’s frequent walks, meal routines, or medication schedules. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my goal is always the same — to make them feel safe, loved, and at ease. I follow each pet’s normal routine closely, including feeding times, walks, play, and rest, so their day feels familiar and stress-free. In my home, pets enjoy a calm, cozy space where they get plenty of cuddles, playtime, and outdoor walks. When I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect and care I would my own, keeping things tidy and peaceful while giving your pet lots of attention and affection. I also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy and cared for.

“I cannot begin to explain how much of a life saver Darlene was for me today!! I live in Galt and have been driving all the way to the Greenhaven/Pocket area in the mornings before work (in Elk Grove) for daycare. During our meet and greet I got to see her very well kept home and her two adorable little girls who did very well with my big excited puppy. She sent pictures of Drake romping around her yard and playing with another dog who is currently being boarded with her. She was honest with me letting me know any behaviors that she had to correct and I’m thankful that she is knowledgeable in dog behavior. I will be using her on a weekly basis... especially since my dog didn’t want to leave when I came to pick him up! He was exhausted but was giving her kisses when I tried to tell him we were going home. Drake is happy so I’m happy.”

About: What separates me from other pet sitters is experience and attention to detail. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with a wide range of needs, including seniors, high-energy dogs, and those who require extra structure, patience, or consistency. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, triggers, preferences, and training cues so care stays consistent with what they’re used to at home. I’m through about following care instructions, including feeding routines, medication, leash handling, and household rules. I pay close attention to behavior and body language and adjust care as needed to keep dogs comfortable and balanced. I also provide regular, thoughtful updates so owners always know how things are going. I provide care throughout the day to maintain your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Mornings typically include walks and potty breaks, breakfast, and any required medications. Midday care includes walks, enrichment, playtime, or quiet companionship depending on your pet’s needs. In the afternoon and early evening, I focus on additional walks or outdoor time, scheduled feedings, and appropriate activity or downtime. Evenings include a final potty break, dinner and medications if needed, and a relaxed wind-down period. I follow established schedules closely and provide regular updates so owners always know how their pets are doing. I have a fenced in backyard for lots of running and play time & a climate controlled inside. Dogs are never left alone and always supervised.
“This was our first time using doggy daycare. We are traveling and brought our dogs on our vacation, thank the heavens for Maryjane and Dominic and Rover for putting us together. Such a great experience. And really relieved that the dogs got such wonderful care. Will definitely use Rover again along our travel and 100% Maryjane and Dominic when we are back this way. Really thank you for opening up your house and for your time.”

“Luna had a great time with Huy. He took her on walks, let her play with another dog after introducing them, and took her to the dog park across the street from his house. We would definitely use Huy again.”

“Kota has been happy with J and been well taken care of. The backyard is big enough to get some exercise. I got updates and pictures throughout the day. You can trust your dog will be taken care of.”

About: My love for dogs started early — at three years old with a dachshund named Pretzel (although toddler me called her “DoDo” because Pretzel was just too big of a word). 🐾 Since then, I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and truly adore their unique personalities. I work full-time from home, so caring for your pup fits seamlessly into my day, with walks, playtime, attention, and plenty of tail-wagging fun included. I have a secure fenced yard, provide daily walks, constant supervision, and carefully follow your care instructions to ensure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved.

“Robby and his wife were excellent caretakers for my furbaby. They sent pictures of her having a fun time during the day and handled everything with ease. Your pup is in good hands with Robby!”

“Julie & family were great! Teddy ? felt right at home immediately! Julie reviewed all of Teddy's info and responded accordingly! She checked in with me & uploaded pics which put me at ease! I will definitely be coming back!?”

“Jennifer and her Family (human and fur) are a fantastic fit for Cleo. She is a high energy dog and comes home fully exhausted from her playdates with Jennifer, Rosey and their team! My husband told me it was the "perfect fit" for Cleo and us!”
“We’ve left Boomer in Valary’s care a few times now, he always has a blast playing with the other dogs and running around on her enormous ranch. When we get him back he’s always happy and tired.”

“Petra and her family do a great job taking care of Otter and Toby. I get updates throughout the day with photos and both pups are always so excited to spend the day with Petra. She is very accommodating and has been great with my rescue pup Otter, making him feel at home. I have been using her daycare services weekly for over a month now, and have had nothing but great experiences with Petra!”

“Tracey was amazing! I've never left my dog with a sitter before and was a little nervous, but I felt comfortable with her as soon as I met her. She was so welcoming and kind. Buddy is timid with other dogs and had some anxiety but Tracey still was able to take him on walks successfully and he came home happy and exhausted. Thank you, Tracey!”

About: Serving Aromas and surrounding area. As a lifelong animal lover with more than 25 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, horses, emus, chickens, and even a feral cat colony, I understand that every animal deserves patience, compassion, and individualized care. My goal is simple: to provide a safe, loving, and enriching environment where your dog or cat can relax, play, and feel at home while you're away. Located on three beautiful acres in Aromas, California, my property offers a peaceful park-like setting with plenty of room to explore safely. Safety is my highest priority, and dogs are never left unattended outdoors. Every guest receives attentive supervision, plenty of exercise, and lots of affection throughout the day. Your dog's stay may include walks, nature hikes, supervised outdoor play, enrichment activities, cuddle time, and, for suitable dogs, adventures to local beaches and trails. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet place to relax, I tailor care to their individual personality and needs. Inside, dogs and cats enjoy a spacious 2,800-square-foot home where they are welcomed as members of the family. They can lounge on comfortable furniture, sleep on the bed if permitted by their owners, or rest in their own crate if that is their normal routine. I share my home with my gentle 11-year-old pit bull, who gets along well with dogs, cats, and the farm animals on the property. Because I value safety and positive experiences for every guest, I carefully evaluate compatibility and strive to create a calm, stress-free environment. When your dog stays with me, they're not staying in a kennel—they're joining a home filled with love, experience, and genuine respect for animals. My goal is for both you and your dog to enjoy complete peace of mind, knowing your family member is safe, happy, and cared for as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your dog or cat. I'm semi-retired and take advantage of our beautiful central coast daily, either walking, hiking, or playing on the beach. We start our day in the morning with a nice sniff, play, or zoomie time on the property. After breakfast we'll do a walk on the beach, a hike (depending on your pet) or playtime on the property. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.
“I felt at ease leaving both of my pets with Sarah. She is very professional and communicated clearly and timely. She greeted my pets and I outside of her home and then gave us a tour of where my pets would spend time. She spent the time to allow my dog Roble to get acquainted with the space and other pets. She was very thorough in caring for my pets (i.e. feeding schedule, rest, petting and play time). I received plenty of updates as well. I will definitely utilize her services again!”

I grew up with dog’s, cat’s and cows, and I’ve cared for everything from shy rescue pups to playful kittens and even senior dogs with special needs. Morning starts with feeding time and a quick check to make sure they’re healthy and comfortable. If I have a dog, there’s that refreshing morning walk — a chance for both of us to stretch our legs and breathe in the day ahead. If it’s a cat, maybe it’s a playful moment or just sharing a quiet breakfast together while they curl up nearby. I take pet care seriously and always treat animals with the same love and attention I’d want for my own. In my daily routine, I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. I stick to feeding schedules, provide plenty of fresh water, and keep their living areas clean and tidy.

Whether during walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays, I focus on creating a safe and positive experience for both pets and their owners.
