Our girls are very used to their normal daily routine but they seemed to adapt to Monique wonderfully! A very telling moment for me was when we got back from vacation and I picked the dogs up. Got the dogs in the car and they were very glad to see me but as soon as they realized we were leaving without Monique they were like: Wait! You forgot her! They soon settled down but it was obvious they did not like leaving her. We can STRONGLY recommend Monique as a perfect sitter for your pup(s). I would help the neighbors with their cats,dogs,birds and bunnies I currently work for full-time, but on the weekends I enjoy hanging out with dogs. “This was the perfect environment and care for my very very social and energetic dog. At one point.my dog was experiencing some anxiety, so upon request, they remedied this with mixing some.pumpkin with her food. This was tjsn the perfect balance for her moving through the rest of her visit. This is my first booking using Rover since other dog boarding facilities were becoming to hard on her nervous system. I am bery happy I did! If I am ever in need of care again in this location I wouldnt hesitate to use these sweet humans! About: I've had the gift of house/pet sitting for over 10 years, and it is without a doubt the most rewarding job I've ever experienced! Personally, I've had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, horses, and hermit crabs as pets, besides the odd rescued baby bird, bunny, or mouse. On top of cats, dogs, and fish, I've had the opportunity to care for alpacas, an African grey parrot, and saltwater fish/reefs, while pet sitting. Every animal I encounter has its own identity and temperament, which is always fun and interesting to observe and base my care on. I feel like such a winner when I get a standoffish animal to trust me! Throughout my life I've had an array of animals to bond with, though for a long period recently we had just one cat. Mournfully, a few years ago, my dad and I had to part with our beloved Stevie. She was our close companion for over 15 years, and I still miss her immensely. Her quirks and routines still cross my mind, which brings all the things that made her unique and lovable up into my heart. Pet sitting warms my heart, and definitely fills the need that I still have for animal companionship (but without the heartbreak). Pet sitting is a way for me to have the joy of loving and caring for a pet in an empathetic way: in their own home, on their own schedule, stepping into their owner's (figurative) shoes for a bit, to make *everyone* more comfortable. Time and again, it's proven to be the best way I've found to give personalized care to precious pets, and allow owners to truly enjoy their time away. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I’m was around 5, I grew up with poodles and we raised them . I would help the neighbors with their cats,dogs,birds and bunnies I currently work for full-time, but on the weekends I enjoy hanging out with dogs. “This was the perfect environment and care for my very very social and energetic dog. At one point.my dog was experiencing some anxiety, so upon request, they remedied this with mixing some.pumpkin with her food. This was tjsn the perfect balance for her moving through the rest of her visit. This is my first booking using Rover since other dog boarding facilities were becoming to hard on her nervous system. I am bery happy I did! If I am ever in need of care again in this location I wouldnt hesitate to use these sweet humans! About: I have had many types of pets. Such as fish, bunnies, turtles, bird, cats and a dog. I have took a few training classes on how to make my dog successful. She has many titles. She’s also an advanced trick dog. So I’m willing to teach any dog some tricks if wanted. Not only do I have experience but I’m also willing to be affordable to. I will work around your prices. Dont be afraid to ask Im a SAHM and have plenty of free time. I can do drop ins and walks in the weekends and daycare and boarding all week When doing drop ins in your home I will follow all instructions to care for your pets. About: I am a life long dog lover and have had many dogs over the years (work travel prevents me from ownership right now). Over the years my household (me, adult son, grand daughter (6)) have adopted or fostered a wide variety of dogs from a puppy to be trained and moved on to forever home to senior dogs who ultimately ended up with their forever home right here. I am excellent at giving medication (was a LPN for humans), long walks that I enjoy as much as the dog, and am open to any dog related service your dog may need. I will always treat your dog like the wonderful individual they are. I am open to any size dog and ANY breed (I have great relationships with pit bulls, Chihuahua's, and other high difficulty breads) We will discuss your system of punishment and reward so that we are on the same page. Feel free to contact me with any questions I am a work from home writer, artist, photographer, and journalist, so I have lots of open time. I do travel for work in the summer months which does leave some days completely unavailable, but otherwise ready to walk from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. There is no other way to say it, I love dogs and will treat your dog with more respect than most humans receive. The walks will be well planned and any care will be exactly what you requested.
