“We left our beloved Buddy (a 9 years Weimaraner) with Peter for three weeks while we traveled abroad, and I can’t say enough about how phenomenal he was. This was the first time we’d ever been apart from our boy for so long, but from the very beginning we felt at ease. Peter has such wonderful energy. You can feel it immediately, and so can the dogs. When he first picked Buddy up, our pup was elated, as if he had known Peter forever, even though he had only stayed one night before as a trial. Buddy hopped into Peter’s car with pure joy and never looked back, which gave us so much peace of mind. When Peter brought Buddy back, our dog was thrilled to see us, of course :) but what struck us most was how happy and comfortable he was around Peter too. “My dog spent the day at Lupe’s today and left happy. Lupe had great hospitality. She gave me a little tour of where my dog would be spending his time and asked questions about his needs/personality when I dropped him off. The indoor area is very specious and has a gate to separate some dogs from others based on temperament. My dog was showing signs of possessiveness over his toy so she was proactive about giving him his own space away from the other dogs. She said when the dogs weren’t outside playing he chose to spend his time right next to her while she worked. Lupe sent pictures and gave a recap of how he played well outside with other dogs and was fed separately.”

About: I personally have 11 cats in our house and seven dogs. Most of the dogs are 30 pounds or less but we also have a golden retriever and a labrador. I have some experience giving medication but depends on how open your pet is to their meds. I currently work full time hours but have time for overnight stays on the weekends. I also have time for drop in/checkup visits and walks on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after 6pm. On Fridays I have time for drop in visits noon or later. Exact details can be discussed based on location. I only offer services in the comfort of your own home as I have too many animals at my house to make accommodations. Having your pet remain in your home will help them feel more at ease in your absence.

I have and RVT license that is current and have been an RVT for over 10 years. I took a break from housesitting to work at animal hospitals, including a 24-hour critical care hospital in the ICU. Medications and medical treatments are no problem for me. I have an open schedule and am comfortable with either staying at your home for your pet's comfort, or I can visit everyday to make sure they are cared for. As for my personal pets, there's four cats with totally different personalities that run the house (I just live there).
