She arranged a time to come by ahead of my trip, asked appropriate questions, and followed directions while I was away. I appreciated her detailed write-ups that let me know how both cats were doing. My indoor cat is a rescue who is very afraid of new people. I wasn't sure how she would respond to a new person in the house with me away, but she did very well. “Daysha is a lifesaver! I came into town from over eight hours away under very stressful circumstances and had never been to the area before. When my pet sitter canceled at the last minute, I decided to bring my almost two-year-old Chinese Crested with me. My mom suggested trying Rover for doggy daycare. It was 9 PM and less than 48 hours before my arrival, but Daysha responded immediately. She was communicative, professional, and instantly put my mind at ease. She happily agreed to care for my pup on short notice, asked thoughtful questions about his routine, diet, and personality, and was incredibly flexible with an early morning drop-off and pickup time. On our way there, we discovered that the nonrefundable hotel I had booked didn’t allow pets. I had been misinformed and immediately panicked. We reached out to Daysha to ask if she could accommodate an overnight stay instead—even though we were still seven hours away and wouldn’t arrive until around 11 PM. She didn’t hesitate for a second and said, “no problem!” My dog sleeps with me every night, and this was our first time apart. I hadn’t planned for him to stay elsewhere, but Daysha was completely prepared and even had a crate available since I hadn’t brought one. She and her adorable chihuahua mix, Harlow, met us outside, and we introduced the dogs on leash first in a neutral space—such a thoughtful and knowledgeable approach. Then we moved to the backyard so they could get more comfortable off-leash. She even invited us inside briefly before I said goodbye, which I really appreciated. I was worried my pup might have a hard time adjusting, especially since he’s used to sleeping with me, but Daysha handled everything with ease. She didn’t force him into the crate (which meant a lot to me), and he ended up sleeping comfortably in the bed I brought. Throughout his stay, I received regular photo and video updates, and Daysha remained consistently communicative. Honestly, I think it was harder on me than it was on my dog! I’m so grateful for this experience—Daysha truly went above and beyond, and I would absolutely trust her again.”

About: Growing up on my family ranch, I’ve had 8 dogs and 12 cats. I am well experienced in the level of care, love, and play our fur family members require. Now that I’ve moved for college, to hopefully become an animal rights lawyer, I really miss my fur babies. I have had a range of dogs and understand the needs of various breads. For instance, I’ve had an Italian Mastiff, Chihuahua, Blue Healer, and Terrier. About: Many years of pet care experience from large to small animals. Exotic animals to cattle. No animals to big or to small for me to care for! I am currently going to school for my biology degree so it fits in well with my time. I do a lot of outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing during my free time. I do not currently offer in home services as I use my home to rescue animals, but the care I put into any animal/pet is always the same in side my house or outside. They all receive the same amount of dedication to feeding/cleaning/etc.
About: My life style makes me a great pup parent and friend! Each day is a new adventure, I commit to taking my pup to a dog park at least every other day and on walks 3-4times a day. My puppy is loved and cared for like a baby, and I will make sure to treat ur pup like one of my own too. Rest assure that ur doggy companion will receive love, care, pets, praises, strong boundaries, and (with ur consent) treats! My partner and I are full-time dog and cat parents. If ur furbaby does well with other dogs, we can go for walks anytime of the day that u need, and ur puppy will have a friend to play/walk with! My partner and I care after our puppy and cat like babies of our own. They are both adventure fur companions and we commit to making sure they get the fun and time outside that they deserve. Our cat does really well around other dogs and even joins us in dog parks (in the bag). We’ve got a solid understanding around canine and feline behavioral tendencies. So we make sure to keep a clean home, free of anything that can be chewed on or ingested that can be potentially harmful. We always do our best that any destructive behavior is positively redirected, so clients know that their pup is safe and so is their home/furniture.

About: I just moved to SoCal from Colorado to begin a PhD program in physiology and biophysics at UC Irvine. I have flexible working and remote classroom hours which allows me to stop in for home visits or walks during the day, cuddle with your pup at home while studying in the evening, or stay in your home while you’re enjoying a beach, ski trip, cruise, work conference in a swanky hotel, or whatever is keeping you away from your beloved fur-child. I have trained puppies in their first stages of becoming important epilepsy alert service dogs, three of my own babes from puppy on, including my current best friend who has intense anxiety, so I have a plethora of breed and behavioral experience and am always happy to give advise and help! I am also certified in domestic animal (and human) CPR and emergency first aid should any unforeseen events occur while you’re away. I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, from a shit zu named Oreo to an ornery 125lbs golden named Cali, indoor and outdoor cats that would torment everyone in the house, cuddly rats, stubborn farm stock, boring hermit crabs; you name it!! Cali was my first puppy on my own, my first baby and was 8 weeks old when I adopted her and used google as my guide to train her. She turned into the biggest love bug, considerate, and tender girl. Everybody that ever met her fell in love immediately because of her heart. I lost Cali a couple of years ago and nursed her needs as an elderly dog. She became incontinent, lost use of her back legs so I had to support them and walk with her anywhere she wanted or needed to go, including to potty, and had to give her both oral and injected medications for many years. Going through this created a very special place in my heart for elderly dogs, so if you entrusted yours in my care, know they will get the same love and compassion I gave my sweet Cali. My best friend now is a border collie/Newfoundland mix named Pe’ahi, who is way to smart for her own good and has been the best travel and backcountry Jeeping buddy!

About: I have a beagle puppy that is great with other dogs. I’ve had and trained dogs since I was 7 years old. I love animals and enjoy being around them. I can take dogs to the park and take them on walks, I can also bathe and groom your pets as well! I allow my dog on my couch and bed but I will follow any rules you have set for your pets. I know animal CPR, and can administer any medications your pet may need. I can help older dogs, and help train puppies as well! I am excited to hang out with your pets and help in any way I can Generally my husband and I work as a team to care for your pets. I work 8-5 and he works from 3pm till midnight. There would be a short 2 hours where your pup may be home alone (depending on if we work that day. I’ll generally take our dog on a walk when the weather cools in the summer and during the days in the winter if you’d like your dog to walk with us please let me know! We offer just about any service, we can bathe your pup for an additional fee, unfortunately we do not do any other grooming at this time. We allow our pup free range of the house and would do the same for yours!

About: I grew up taking care of 3 cats and 1 dog. Unfortunately 2 of my cats passed away due to old age, but one is still hanging on 14 years strong! My dog is older, but a few years ago I got my boyfriend a puppy, who ended up having puppies of his own. 2 from the litter are now mine and they are currently 1 year old. I care for them daily and have trained them ever since. I have helped my aunts and uncles with pet sitting as well when I was younger. They have 2 dogs and a bearded dragon along with 3 turtles.
