“Kristen and Estevan were so wonderful with our dog Webster. It was a longer stay (10 days) and he is a very active dog, but it was more like a doggy spring break than a simple boarding experience. Lot's of fetch, lots of cuddles, lots of pond swimming and enjoying their beautiful property. I got regular of photos of a very happy dog, 10/10 would use them again!”

“Lisa has an excellent space for our two energetic retrievers. They were safe and well cared for. Her knowledge and expertise with caring for animals was very valuable. She is very “ in tune” to their feelings and ensures they are comfortable and happy.”

“Eliza has been absolutely wonderful with my dog. She has watched my dog multiple times and has had her over for playtime with her own dogs. Eliza genuinely loves animals, and my dog is always excited to see her. She is reliable, caring, and communicates well, which gives me complete peace of mind whenever my dog is with her. I always know my dog is getting plenty of attention, exercise, and affection in a safe environment. I highly recommend Eliza to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter. I’m so grateful to have found her!”

“They were great from start to finish. Quick to respond about my last minute request. Pleasant to work details out with. Jude seemed well cared for and happy when I picked her up. So happy this worked out last minute, they saved the day for me.”

“Jen was an awesome sitter for our sweet Golden, Captain. She was welcoming and kind from the start and I could tell how much she loves her Labs and felt a kinship that Captain would be welcomed into the retriever pack! Although I was nervous because he hasn’t really been around kitties, he ended up doing fine and Jen assured me he adjusted well and she sent great updates and photos while we were away! I highly recommend Jen!”

About: I've been an animal lover my whole life and have always had at least one dog or cat in our home, as well as others often like fish and reptiles. I even lived and worked on a goat farm for a while and milked and cared for the goats. I'm an avid hiker and am happy to walk your dog for any length preferred on trail or road. In my other work I have over 15 years of experience as a healer (massage therapy and energy work) and meditation/yoga instructor and bring the calm this field has taught me to pet care. I'm used to hearing pet people tell me that their pets are so calm around me. I seek to form a connection based on trust and understanding with your pet. I am, without a doubt, a cat lady having had cats in my life since the age of 5. I currently have a sweet and sensitive Calico, who has lived with me for the past 11 years. She is a finicky eater and often deals with digestive issues, so I've had plenty of experience with various food regimes and giving supplements. We also have a sweet, playful, young male cat in our home (my daughter's cat) and a beloved bearded dragon. We recently welcomed a Shiba Inu into our family and she is such a joy in our home. I offer pet care as a side gig to my other work and love any opportunity to connect with your furry friends and other pets. I offer pet care part-time in addition to other work I do. I'm happy to walk dogs most weekdays/weekends between 8 am-3 pm and I can do pet check-in's most weekdays and some weekends and holidays with a few days notice. I am sometimes available for overnight pet stays in your home with ample prior notice. When coming to your home, I follow what usual routines you share with me for your pet and treat your home with utmost respect and care. If you have a preferred route to take your dog on a walk or favorite dog park, I'm happy to go with whatever your norm is and will make your dog most comfortable.

“Avram took the best care of our dog. This is the first time we’ve left him with someone outside of his immediate “circle” and Avram was a calm, reliable source of care for both our dog and us. We received daily updates and pictures as well as prompt communication regarding drop off and pickup. We would definitely have Avram care for our dog again!”

“Alicia was fantastic. She was very welcoming and took great care of Mochi and Waffles. They had fun playing with her dog, Zuko too. Will definitely ask her to take care of Mochi and Waffles in the future.”

“Dropped off dog in one piece. Received dog back in one piece. Also received daily assurances that our boy was well and pics/videos to prove it! I'd check even myself in with Taffy for a week!”
“Absolutely amazing experience with Anyssah! She kept me informed at all time and assured me he was doing well as this was my first time leaving him with someone he didn’t know. She also accommodated to his needs and just made this stay so much easier for us to go through. I will absolutely book her again if needed. Thank you Anyssah!”

About: My background in animal care extends well beyond traditional pet sitting. I completed extensive veterinary technology education while working full-time in a large, multi-department veterinary hospital, gaining years of hands-on experience with animals ranging from healthy puppies and routine-care patients to senior, hospitalized, post-op, and medically complex dogs. My subsequent transition into “human” healthcare has further strengthened the attention to detail and standard of care that I bring to every animal entrusted to me. My veterinary experience provided a comprehensive foundation in safe animal handling, canine behavior/temperament recognition, medication administration, medical-condition awareness, post-op care, and the identification of subtle changes that may indicate pain, anxiety, or physical distress. I am comfortable recognizing changes in behavior and overall presentation that may warrant closer observation or communication with a pet-parent. I am comfortable caring for dogs across all ages, sizes, and levels of need, including puppies, senior dogs, animals requiring additional behavioral consideration, and pets with established medical or mobility needs. My experience includes oral and injectable medication administration, incision and wound care, mobility assistance, post-operative monitoring, and incontinence-related care. Whether providing a walk, drop-in visit, extended sitting, or boarding, I approach pet care with the same principles that have guided my professional healthcare experience: attentive observation, appropriate precautions, consistency, clear communication, and respect for individualized care requirements. My goal is not simply to supervise a pet while an owner is away, but to provide knowledgeable, responsible care while maintaining the routine, safety, and level of attention each individual animal requires. I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care and am currently preparing for my board examinations, which allows me a highly flexible schedule and the ability to be home much of the time. At present, I have considerable availability for walks, drop-in visits, boarding, and other pet-care needs, and I am able to adjust my study schedule around confirmed bookings. Once I begin working in the hospital, my anticipated schedule will consist of three scheduled shifts per week, leaving the remaining four days largely open and predictable for pet care. I do not have children or other routinely changing obligations that would interfere with confirmed bookings. Any known limitations to my availability will always be communicated in advance, and with clear communication regarding your pet’s schedule and needs, I am currently able to accommodate a wide range of scheduling requests. Safety and attentive supervision are priorities in our home. Between my husband and me, our dogs are never left home without one of us present, and I maintain that same standard of supervision for pets entrusted to my care. I would not leave a pet unattended while I am responsible for their care. We have a fully fenced backyard and maintain a clean, organized, and uncluttered home and outdoor environment. With a five-month-old puppy of our own, our home is consistently kept pet-safe, with unsafe or inappropriate items secured and inaccessible. I am also careful and deliberate when managing interactions between animals and never assume unfamiliar dogs can simply be left together unsupervised. Introductions, outdoor access, feeding, and shared spaces are appropriately supervised, with the safety and comfort of each individual pet remaining the priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain the same standard of supervision, respect for their environment, and attention to safety.
About: As you consider if you want to trust your “fur-baby” to us, you should know that my wife Kathy and I have been involved with dogs for more than 40 years. We give cuddles and pets as needed and encourage our dogs to be friendly to all that visit. Our first dog and the subsequent 6 dogs we have kept as family members were all rescue dogs. We have experience with Border Collies, Corgis, Mixed Breeds, German Wired-Haired Pointer and American Brittany dogs. We have been active in the American Brittany Rescue organization since 2011 having placed more than 16 dogs in forever homes including 4 Brittanys that we have kept for our family. While we have crate-trained our dogs when they first came to our home, typically once they show that they can use the doggie door to go outside, we have given them free roam of the house and yard except for bedrooms. We keep the crate available when a dog wants to isolate themselves or they need a timeout. We are happy to give quiet time to the dogs in the middle of the afternoon especially after a snack and/or a walk. Our home has a doggie door that can accommodate a large dog and that gives the dogs freedom to go outside on their own. Finally, we have boarded and watched over our children’s dogs for many years when we lived in CA. We would be happy to board and walk your dog and give you the peace of mind that we have enough experience and temperament to insure your dog has a good time at our house. My wife and I are home full time as we are both retired. While we enjoy our walks and our gym time, we have plenty of time to watch over and play with your dog. We have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs (age 7 & 10) to keep your fur baby company. We can crate your dog if needed and would prefer that your dog be able to take themselves into the yard to go potty once they learn to use the doggie door.
“Anika takes great care of our active alert doodle-mutt! Rosie is happy and tired, calm and relaxed — Anika provides a fantastic place where dogs can be safe and have fun — thanks so much!!”

During visits, I make sure their litter box is clean, fresh water is available, and their feeding schedule is followed exactly as directed. I also offer enrichment through play, grooming (if they enjoy it), and companionship—while always respecting their boundaries. I’m attentive to any changes in behavior, appetite, or litter habits, and will keep you updated with photos and notes so you always feel connected while you're away. Your cat’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities.

About: I’ve been taking care of cats for over a year now. Recently I house sat for two black cats, Chunky and Mira. I loved spending time with them and playing. They loved chasing a mouse on a string and it was incredibly cute.

About: Cats are my FAVORITE animal! (most recent cat in photo) I was allowed by my family to rescue and adopt a cat when I was 5. She was a longhaired cat. She was shy, nervous but so sweet and taught me how patience is important to get cats to trust. After that, I rescued another shorthair cat and was gifted a siamese cat for my recent birthday. These cats are my everything and I love and enjoy caring for all cats! I’ve pet sat for cats of all different ages and fur length, even hairless ones! I love learning about cats the more I get to meet new ones!

About: I take care of three former stray cats who now live indoors, and they constantly meow at the door to be let out when they want to play. Each one has a different personality, which taught me how to care for shy cats, clingy ones, and cats who just want their space. I try to understand what each cat needs and make sure they feel safe and comfortable.

“Olivia did a great job taking care of my cats. She was able to drop in on short notice, which I appreciated. Everything went smoothly, she arrived as planned, fed them, spent some time, sent pics. My older grouchy cat even came out, which means Olivia has a good vi be. She left the place clean. I'm glad I found her and will definitely call on her again.”

“Kristina was wonderful! She kept us apprised of how everyone was doing daily which was great. But most importantly, the cats were happy with her. She was able to medicate those on meds the first day - which for a bunch of indoor/outdoor cats and someone they don’t really know is amazing. We also had to make some last minute changes in our plans (because ice) and she was completely fine with that. We also loved that she had experience with chickens and exotic birds as we may be adding those to our family. We very much hope to work with her again.”

“Lisa did a wonderful job caring for my two dogs over the 2019 SOU Graduation weekend. I was very comfortable leaving my dogs with her as she displays a good amount of dog knowledge and safety standards. While visiting Ashland, it was really great to have a place for my pets just 15 minutes out of downtown, and a pet professional who can be counted on to keep them safe and relaxed all day long. Lots of dog photos were sent to me during the stay with Lisa! Ken H (Chico, CA)”
“Patience is kind, responsible, and exceptionally responsive. This was my 9 yo dog’s first time ever at a sitter. He was a bit nervous at first, but Patience put him at ease and he had a great time both days. An hour of chuck-it provided lots of exercise :) highly recommend this pet lover as your next pet sitter.”

“Bryce and Nate have been incredibly accommodating and have kept our Loki pup (beagle) walked and snuggled during his daycare! He comes home a happy little guy! Highly recommend!”

“Avram is so sweet. You can see how much he loves dogs. He was easy to communicate with, both before and during the dogs’ visit. My dogs were happy after their visit with Avram!”

“Thanks for a great experience dog sitting my two girls. Another dog sitter had fallen through and I needed to find someone reliable and I found Sylvia and I’m very glad that I did. Thank you for watching them with such short notice and going above and beyond take care of them and give them exercise, as well as taking them to your art gallery event and just including them. I feel like I would highly recommend Sylvia and I hope that I can have you watch the dogs again if we come back to Ashland”

“I needed someone last minute for a roadtrip drive through and she accommodated! I felt comfortable the moment I met her and so did Theo (my child-dog). She sent me pictures, messages and reassurance when I needed it. I will contact her 100% when I return.”

“Anika is great! She took excellent care of my dog Bear, who can have a little separation anxiety. She is a good communicator and sent lots of pictures during the day. Bear obviously had a great time playing with the other dogs and came home happy and exhausted from playing in her beautiful big yard. Anika just has a great way with all the dogs. You can tell she loves and cares for them like they are her own.”

About: I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for many different dogs over the years. When I was 11, my family adopted a large Border Collie puppy, and I was very active in the responsibilities needed for a puppy with that much energy. Over time, I’ve enjoyed pet sitting because different dogs, especially by breed have different personalities and maintenances that are unique. I’m active and able to walk/do activities with dogs, but through experience not all dogs need that, and L’m excited to meet new pups! I’ve had significant experience with: collies, huskies, chihuahuas, rat terriers, labs, doodle mixes, and mixed recuse dogs! I work part time, but I am also a college student-athlete! In the summers and late spring my schedule is almost completely clear! In the school year I do not work, but I have certain times blocked off for practice. I am available by phone almost all hours of the day! Whether I am in my own home, a clients home, or the public, I only want to ensure that the animal I am with feels safe and all its needs are met. I want the pet to have a good time and feel comfortable with me. In terms of environment I think being neat and clean is very important for both the pet and myself. When mealtimes come, I make all my animals sit or wait patiently until the food is ready and I am not mean, but I do encourage good behavior at all times and try to get the pet to practice small trainings or commands when appropriate.

About: I have grown up with a variety of animals, thus providing me with a wealth of experience. I grew up with a small and a medium dog, though frequently would look after larger and higher energy dogs for family, friends, and other folks in my community. I love cats and have one of my own! I have experience with medication administration for special needs animals or animals with health concerns and would be happy to assist your pet with these things so you can feel comfortable leaving home without worry for their wellbeing! I’ve worked with young pets and older pets alike! Minimal barriers here! I’d love to support you and your pet :) I do work a full time job at the moment, though am flexible in the late afternoon and evening! I am also available saturday afternoons, and all day sundays, and mondays for convenient weekend trips. Happy to work with you and your schedule to make sure your pets are treated like family! I am happy to provide care for your pets in your home, and would love to support with housework if needed! I am thorough and attentive and will be sure to take extra care and time when you are away from your pets. I know how hard it can me to leave pets home, they are family! I want you to feel calm and safe knowing how loved your animal is with me!

About: Here’s some Info about me: I am 18, graduated class of 2025, currently just trying to start my life and figure out my goals and ambitions. I’ve grown up around all sorts of animals, also including farm animals and reptiles, I have also helped facilitate 3 Labrador litters. Caring for animals is a huge passion of mine so I am grateful to have the opportunity to spend my time doing this. I am super flexible and under standing. I’m currently working part time in the evenings. I have weekends off. I sometimes work Saturday but I will never double book if I know it won’t work with my schedule, the pets in my care are always my first priority. I love to stay active, so taking animals outside on walks and runs is also enjoyable for me if that’s what your pet needs, I’m super accommodating aswell.

“I had never boarded my older dog before and was anxious about the whole situation, but Julianne & Ragen made the whole process start to finish so much more comfortable than I had expected! Being able to communicate before, during and after our vacation really helped me to feel confident that our sweet Kiwi was happy, healthy and well taken care of. We will definitely reach out to Julianne & Ragen next time we need a friend for our sweet girl!”

“Laura was absolutely wonderful with our puppy, Gordy! It’s never easy leaving our dog with someone new, but she made us feel completely at ease from the start. She is kind, communicative and is clearly super good with animals! She took Gordy to the dog park and let him play and get some energy out! It’s obvious he had been loved and well looked after while we were away. We really appreciated the updates (with pictures and videos!) and the peace of mind she gave us throughout the stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Laura again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter!”

“Hannah is a exelent with dogs, a very loving ❤️ family, I'm very happy with her, she sent pictures and videos of my dog while I was on vacation 😀 she took very good care of my dog 🐕.”
