“Thank you for taking such good care of our girl! We were heartened to know she was safe with you and your pups and really appreciated the update and photos. Maudy sends her best to you and her poodle pals!”

“Celia was so friendly and great with my doggie. He was very happy staying with her, and she kept me updated well with pictures of him. I would trust her to watch him again, anytime!”

“Gina is fantastic. She truly love dogs and goes out of her way to make sure they are comfortable. Her place is wonderful and has ample fenced outdoor space with shade and trees. It's a great environment and she even sent my dog home with a toy she had grown attached to. I'd go back without hesitation.”

“Stella and her family took great care of my puppy during his extended stay. He became very close with her family, made friends with her dogs, and took many leisurely walks in her backyard. He had a great time and seems like he even became more easygoing and outgoing after we came home. I would highly recommend her!!”

“Lauren and her family looked after Scampi as their own. He was relaxed and seemed too relaxed to come home. He was not in a hurry! I will recommend Lauren and with past experiences I will give her A+! Thanks again Lauren.”

“Morgan always does amazing with my malinois puppy! Bella is a ball of energy, but always makes taking care of her look easy! She’s literally the puppy whisperer 🤭 Thanks for everything always 🩷”

“Sherryl is the Best! She is extremely loving and good to her dogs and my dog during her stay.. Your dog will be well taken care of there. Her house and property is perfectly set up for taking care of dogs, fences yard, doggy door to the inside of house if your dog can fit through it, if not, like my dog,(she's about 65 pounds), don't worry it didn't matter one bit because of how attentive Sherryl was during our dogs great stay with her... Highly recommend!”

“I love Allison n her family. They are amazing with my pup Nala. They treat n care for her like they’re own. I love how they send updates on her n pictures. I have used Allison a couple times for my dog sitting n I so plan on using her every time. I’m so comfortable leaving my dog with her n her family. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“This was our first time booking on Rover and Stephanie made it such a breeze! I’m an anxious dog mom but she was great with our puppy and providing updates anytime I checked in! Mazapán loved her time with Stephanie and definitely would rebook with her in the future!”

“I cannot recommend Steven enough! My dog is quite skittish with strangers and has a very specific routine at home, so I was nervous about boarding. Steven was incredibly understanding and listened to all my concerns, but what impressed me most was how he prioritized reading her body language over just following my instructions blindly. He understood that she might behave differently in a new environment and adapted brilliantly. Despite the challenges of a different household dynamic—managing a 'grazer' around his own dog and mirroring our busy family routine—he made her feel right at home. By the first night, she was eating, playing, and even sleeping in her crate! If you want a sitter who truly understands dog psychology and provides personalized care, Steven is the one.”

“I think Amy is a wonderful person to board your dog with. After having a meet and greet, I decided she was the right person to book. During my dog's stay w/ Amy, I received many updates with pictures. It put me at ease knowing my dog is feeling comforted and is still getting a balanced lifestyle while I'm gone for a few days. At the time of this review, I am booked with Amy for another weekend of boarding. Definitely recommend.”

“I know my dog had an amazing time. She looked happy and relaxed when I picked her up. My baby Roxie did well her dog and think they may have horsed around quite a bit since when we got home she just napped like she does after having park time. We got pictures and updates of Roxie and we could tell she was tended to and being loved as well. We were late to pick her up due to flight delays and eventually cancelations. Sylvia was easy to coordinate with for the extra unexpected day. Also, my dog was bitten by a dog the day before we dropped her off and she had meds and special instructions to which I know she kept a good eye on her as the wound/bite had healed and was looking good even 2days after the incident. I would totally recommend her as she is attentive and caring. Roxie is our baby girl and she can be timid but with Sylvia my doggie felt right at home!! That is priceless to know while we were so far away from our little girl.”

“Alessandra was so great! I was super nervous using this app for the first time, but feel truly lucky and blessed having found Alessandra! Upon meeting her, I was super comfortable and I felt as though I was leaving my dog in the care of a good friend or trusted family member. She was very attentive and communicative, I appreciated all the updates and photos while I was away. I have nothing but good things to say, and absolutely recommend her! She will def be my go-to dog sitter! She’s the best!”

“Emily and Thumper were such great hosts! Emily is an excellent communicator and our pup loved her and Sean. Our somewhat awkward and sensitive pup was so happy to hang with them we had no concerns leaving him. We were just looking for a responsible caretaker and we got that plus new doggy friends. We will definitely be seeing more of Emily and Thumper.”

“Stacey accommodated my inquiry the very last minute, early AM, on a weekend. She was able to also pick her up and drop off when the weather was not ideal for driving. Happy had a fun stay with lots of pictures provided along the way. The pup returned with a little gift from Stacey :) I appreciate the care given to my dog. Repeated customer here! Thanks, Stacey!”

“Angie was very nice she had 3 dogs 2 old mini poodles and a brown Lab older all pretty friendly. She lives in a small town Grover land on the outskirts on a tiny very bumpy dirt road narrow kinda hard to drive even in our truck. Building trust is key, so I take things slow, using positive reinforcement like treats and praise to create a bond. Whether it's playtime or just chilling, I'm all about keeping their routine consistent to minimize stress.

“Emily was great, all of our cats seemed great upon return. She was responsive and very thoughtful. She even thought to ask if she should do anything extra when a large storm was coming through.”

“Tyler’s drop in visit worked great. She is very kind and professional. She took the time to do a pre-visit which I was very grateful. Her communications (photos, text and written note) were thoughtful and caring. I will certainly ask for her help again.”

We booked last minute and she was great about being able to get him in. She also gave us a goodie bag at pickup with treats and a toy! So thoughtful. Definitely book her!”

“Emily watched my dog Prince while my family and I went to the lake at Twain Harte. She was amazing! The original time I had proposed didn't work, but she was very accommodating for a later drop off time. Thanks to her my family and I were able to go to the lake (where there are no dog allowed), and I had peace of mind the whole time. Thank you, Emily!”

“Morgan was really great. They and their family took care of our dog better than average. Morgan also goes above and beyond with toys and care for our dog. Our dog had a great time and was very content and calm after the daycare. Wonderful.”

“Our dog loved Kinny! Right off the bat he took a liking to her, and was excited to see her on his second visit. ? She was understanding and as flexible as she could be when our pick up and drop off times ended up being quite a bit later than we had anticipated. We would definitely turn to Kinny again and recommend her.”

“My family and I went on a cave expedition tour at the Moaning Caverns. First time leaving our dog Lucky with anyone. Crystal was amazing, such a bright and warm personality. Lucky took shine to her right away. We had a couple hiccups ( we forgot to leave her pack with Crystal) it had her ball and food and blanket. We apologized and felt horrible, but Crystal reassured us that it wasn't a problem and she had plenty of food and toys to keep her occupied. By the time we picked her up and got back to her our hotel Lucky was exhausted from all the playing she did. Thank you Crystal! We appreciate you so much! Please if in the area and you need a sitter for your fur baby Crystal is the one to reach out to!”

About: I used to dog sit/cat sit and house sit for my sister constantly when I lived in North Dakota. I also had two wiener dogs growing up and have always been around animals. I had two pet rats for 3 years also and now have had a dog of my own for 3 and a half years. Hi, my name is Lex, and I work as a PE paraprofessional for Ceres Unified School District. During the school year, I work with students and enjoy being active, patient, and dependable. Since I have summers off, I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for your pets. Animals have always been an important part of my life, and I understand how important it is for pet owners to know their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for while they’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, administering routines, or simply providing companionship, I will make sure your pets receive the attention and care they deserve. I understand that every pet has unique needs, routines, and comfort levels, and I always strive to maintain those routines as closely as possible. Safety is my top priority, and I take the time to learn each pet’s preferences, feeding schedule, exercise requirements, and any special instructions provided by their owner. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats with different personalities and energy levels, and I believe in using patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so owners can feel confident knowing their pets are happy, safe, and receiving plenty of love and attention while in my care.
“Excellent! Danielle was very flexible with us and very nice. Sundae seemed to have a good time and was very happy. She loves kids and I’m sure that was the best part for her. I would definitely recommend Danielle. 🌸”

“Did a trial run for our Yorkie, Max, with Amy today and I think he had a good time. He didn't look stressed coming home. We will definitely bring Max back for future boarding and day care. Thank you Amy for taking care of Max.”

“Alessandra took great care of my dog while I was at work today. I appreciated her flexibility when I booked on short notice. I have confidence Sansa will be well taken care of when she stays with her during our upcoming vacation.”

About: Hi, I’m Maddy! Throughout my life I have had dogs, cats, goats, chickens, and bunnies. At 12 years old, I personally trained my Labrador retriever to work as a therapy dog. We visited schools in our area, and children with reading disabilities had the opportunity to read to her without feeling the pressure of an average classroom setting. I gained my true love for dogs through Lila. I sadly had to put her down about 6 years ago, and have moved to the city of Oakdale. I saw what amazing companions they can be, and how they deserve the very best. My husband is a local firefighter and gone a lot, so I have the flexibility and time to care for your pets as if they were my own. I also have experience as a veterinary technician, and feel fully comfortable dealing with medications or any type of medical disability. Thank you for your time and consideration! I am also a stay at home mom, so my goal is to create a lifestyle where I am able to be home with my son and have a flexible work schedule. At this time I am available 7 days a week from 6:30am-9pm. Same day bookings are available, but advanced notice is appreciated. I have two dogs at home, Sam and Enzo. Sam is a chocolate Labrador and Enzo is a mixbreed that my husband adopted a few years ago. These boys are our life. They have and will always be treated as family. I truly have a passion for animals, and you can expect the same for any animal I care for.

“As reluctant as I was to allow a stranger to come into my home, I was that much more hesitant to allow a stranger to walk my three dogs, in the end I knew I had no other choice but to hire someone due to my work schedule. While searching I came across Jef’s profile and I decided to go with him in booking dog walking for my three dogs. Jef even came to meet my dogs before he was to begin walking them the following day. From the initial message to the first time meeting, Jef maintained great communication and updated me each day after their walks. Jef definitely has something about him that made my dogs very comfortable around him. He quickly gained their trust and vice versa. Jef is also very persistent and knowledgeable in training dogs and helping to improve any bad leash habits. I will definitely be booking Jef for any future needs and I would definitely recommend him to anyone with pets.”

I was the manager and I took care of 25 dogs at a time as well as 2 horses, 2 goats, 2 pigs, 4 roosters, and a feral cat colony. I fed all the animals, cleaned their living quarters, picked up the yards, bathed as well as shave them if needed, nail trims, sanitary clips, administered medications of all types, did basic training with them, went to vet appointments if needed, laundry, and walked them. Being in the veterinary field has been a blessing for many clients whom have hired me to care for their furry babies because I am more attune at things many people may not notice. Clients are very grateful for that knowledge. I also water plants and clean houses and bring in mail for overnight stays. I am currently a stay at home mom with lots of time to spare. I've always juggled pet care and my family with no issues. I follow the instructions the client gives me no matter what. If they want the dog to wear a harness while.out for walks, then that's what I will do. If they don't want the dog left unattended outside even though they have a fenced in yard, then I'll stay out with them for as long as needed. I always do a parameter check to make sure there are no holes in the ground for the dog to have access to escape.
About: I have been owned by cats and dogs in the past. I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). Do they do well with new people? I prefer not to sit pit bull terriers, but mixed breeds I don't have a problem with. About: I have taken care of dogs for over 4 years now. I have had dogs since I was a child, but have been fostering and caring for animals for about 4 years now. I am patient and Cat and Dog First Aid training from American Red Cross. I am currently working part-time, I have time to take on walks, stop by and play, or even feed meals if needed for the pooch. I have a fully fenced in backyard. I have 4 dogs that are all dog friendly, but have their own area of the backyard and are crate trained. My babies are all vaccinated and are on flea and tick medicine. My dogs will most likely be kept separate from your fur babies.
About: I’ve been walking/taking care/giving medicine/feeding/playing with two dogs as of now and three cats for a while now :) I am super patient and friendly I’m currently free and not working since I am pregnant so this is something I am doing full time. I have full availability and am super flexible I have no dogs in my house so no worry for that , I have a good spaced backyard that is fenced in and plenty of room for pets inside as well.

“Coralie is great. My dogs look forward to their walks with her. She is caring, but also helpful in training them as well. She is good about walking according to your dog’s speed and needs. We have two energetic larger puppies and she manages to tire them out. She’s definitely a repeat in my book. She has been walking our dogs for the past month.”

About: I've always had dogs and crate trained my dogs. I know how to train basic commands but nothing really beyond that. I do love playing with dogs and also relaxing with them as well. I do work full time but I do work from home most of the week. So my schedule is pretty flexible for the most part. I have a fenced yard, and 4 friendly dogs. We do have 2 cats but they stay outside as they don't like our dogs. I make sure the the pet I babysit is comfortable and listen to instructions on the owners requests.
About: I’m Emma, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of pet sitting for friends, neighbors, family, and referrals—looking after everything from playful pups and snuggly cats to chickens, bunnies, and even someones 4-H ducks. Whether it’s daily walks, cuddle time, feeding, or simply keeping your pets company while you’re away, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I understand how important it is to feel at ease knowing your furry (or feathered!) family members are safe, happy, and loved.I’m reliable, attentive, and experienced with pets of all personalities. I’d love the chance to make your pets feel comfortable and cared for while giving you peace of mind. I currently am a full time student I attend college from 9am-2:20pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. My commute one way to campus is roughly an hour and fifteen minutes. I regularly house sit for people on weekends but am hoping to do it more regularly. If your pet is an eloper I’ll make sure to keep all doors shut and be mindful when walking in and out to not let them out. I have plenty of experience with scooping dog poop and cleaning kitty litter. I have a client who gave me a key to keep for if they are ever out of town due to an emergency I can be able to get in to care for their pets that is how trust worthy I am. The client is also not a neighbor or friend.

“Thank you for taking such good care of our girl! We were heartened to know she was safe with you and your pups and really appreciated the update and photos. Maudy sends her best to you and her poodle pals!”

“Crystal took amazing care of my two dogs, Misty and Salma, on very short notice! She was communicative, sent videos/updates, and it was obvious my girls were happy, comfortable, and well supervised. They got nightly walks and plenty of playtime, and Crystal did a great job reading their different personalities, and she also made pickup incredibly easy by dropping them off at my home. I would absolutely book with Crystal again and highly recommend her!”

Here's an overview of how pet care fits into my schedule: Daily Routine: Morning Check-ins: I start the day by visiting each pet on time. This includes feeding, providing fresh water, and spending quality time with them for play and companionship. Midday Breaks: For clients who prefer midday check-ins, I make sure to visit again to offer bathroom breaks, playtime, and any necessary medications. Afternoon Activities: In the afternoon, I engage pets in activities suitable for their energy levels, whether it's a walk, interactive play, or simply some cuddle time. Evening Check-ins: The evening routine involves another round of feeding, ensuring their comfort, and spending time with them before bedtime. 1.Dedicated Pet Space: Pets have access to a dedicated and comfortable space in my home, ensuring they have their own area to relax, sleep, and play. This space is designed to make them feel secure and at home. During this time, they will be closely monitored to ensure their safety and well-being. 2.Regular Exercise: Pets staying with me enjoy regular exercise routines, including walks, playtime, and access to a secure outdoor area. 3.Social Interaction: Pets are not only included in my daily activities but also have social time with the residents of the home, including my own friendly dogs. My four dogs, spanning different ages, are consistently supervised during play sessions to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. 4.Feeding Schedule: I maintain a consistent feeding schedule based on the pet's dietary needs and preferences, following any specific instructions provided by the owner. 5.Grooming and Hygiene: Basic grooming activities such as brushing are included in the care routine. Please note that nail trimming is not offered. However, I do provide a deep clean wash and dry for an additional $15 charge, ensuring your pet receives a thorough grooming experience. 6.Health Monitoring: I pay close attention to the pet's health and behavior, promptly addressing any concerns and providing necessary medications or veterinary care.
“First and foremost Angelica was great. This was my first time having her watch my baby. She’s sent me daily updates with cute pictures attached. She took my baby to new places and tried new things with her. Thank you again ?”

“Flor was amazing with both of my dogs! I had concerns because my smaller dog tends to get snappy around other dogs, even his fur brother, but Flor made sure to do slow introductions and keep a close eye on things and he actually did great. She also sent lots of pics and videos throughout the stay. I will definitely be using Flor again!”

“Nestor, was patient kind and genuinely cared for my beautiful Josephine, even accommodated my reservation when I requested the day before, responded to all my messages and sent pictures which is great to see when I am away and wonder how my dog was doing , my dog ate, slept, and even made a new friend with Nestor and Nestor's dog. I definitely recommend and will reserve with Nestor again thank you Nestor!”
