The experience with Hugh & Mary surpassed my imagination. Right off the bat they are warm and welcoming. Just after 5 min of making a reservation I received call from Mary. EVERYTHING was just perfect. They treated my puppy like their own dog. Updated me with pictures all the time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and they have definitely set the bar high for future sitters. And the cherry on top, they put a surprise gift in my puppy’s bag and found it when I got home. So sweet!!!! I recommend 100%”

About: I have lived all my life in the South Bay. I went to school in Rolling Hills, I went to College in Long Beach. I have worked in the Aerospace industry since the 1980's. In 2012 rescued a Pitbull from a abusive life. So I immersed myself in learning the Dog Whispers' training methods. I have had a dog ever since my third birthday. I have worked with Dachshunds, Schnauzer Terriers, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull's, Poodles, Shih Tzu, and Beagles. I believe all dogs have been given to mankind to show us how to live life. Unconditional love, live in the moment, don't worry and greet everyone with excitement and love. In conclusion, I will always treat you family member as my own and love taking care of them. “I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mary and Hugh. I had to drop off my dog Enzo at very short notice, and they were incredibly gracious and accommodating from the start. Their home and yard are absolutely beautiful and feel like a paradise for dogs. Even though they had several dogs in their care, they were very thoughtful about making sure Enzo would be comfortable and that all the dogs were friendly and a good match. That gave me a lot of peace of mind right away. What really stood out was how attentive and caring they were. Within just a few hours of dropping Enzo off, they sent me updates and photos showing how much fun he was having. It was such a relief to see him happy, playful, and already settled in. Hugh even shared this update with me, which honestly made my day: “Enzo is doing great! He’s shown no signs of separation anxiety since he’s been here. In fact, he could care less since you’re gone. LOL. He’s been having a blast racing around with the other doggies. He’s very affectionate with us too. We love Enzo!” That pretty much says it all. I am a very active person and love the outdoors so I have no problem spending time outside with your pet. Living in Big Bear there are plenty of trails and dog parks available to visit within walking distance of our home. We also have a doggy door and a fenced in backyard. About: I’ve always had animals around while growing up. I don’t think I can recall a time I haven’t had a pet. I even insisted on rescuing my dear Daizie May when I was 12 from the pound. I’ve helped raise several litters and rescue any dog I see in need. I have to actively stay off Facebook as to not fall into fostering or taking in any animal in need. My boyfriend calls me a Disney Princess with the way I communicate with my animals. It’s all about body language, respect, and patience. Trust is extremely important. About: I've always had friends with dogs and have done house and dog sitting for many years without any issues. I also have a saint Bernard, Banks! I'm currently looking for a new job after I was laid off from my former job. I have a lot of time on my hands currently so I have open availability. I take my doggo out on walks every day! For years, people within my community have come to me to take care of, or spend time with their sweet (and sometimes not so sweet) pets while they were away, and because I am so used to caring for children, I have a special place in my heart for pets of all kinds. I am very patient and nurturing and have many pets of my own back home in GA where I grew up, but because I am away from my own fur babies, I am hoping to have the opportunity to spend time with yours, just as if they were mine. :) My typical full-time job is within the film industry, which is shut down for the time being due to a writer’s strike that has forced thousands out of work for an unknown amount of time. With that being said, I’m spending a lot of time at home and have a completely open schedule for pet care! The writer’s strike likely will go on for months, so I am fully available now for full-time pet care and will still be available part time once the film industry is back up and running! I have always felt comfortable having pets on my furniture as well as in my bed, as I grew up with three “lap dogs” who crave constant attention and cuddles. I understand that not all pets prefer to be touched or held, but I like to give pet owners that option. :) I am a pretty active young adult, so I love dogs that like to go on hikes or walks around our nice, friendly neighborhood. (or yours!) I never let my own animals’ food or water bowls go empty, so I make sure that the pets are always well maintained and taken care of. I am attentive, caring and patient and I’m eager to share my love with your pets!

I can also care for other pets, including lizards, fish, hamsters, rabbits, etc. I am a huge animal lover. I adopted a senior dog years ago and he was the best dog ever, up until his very last day in December, 2023. Our household has water snails, fish, three cats, a dog, and a pig! I have experience with rabbits and hamsters and other small pets, and I have experience with special needs animals. My longest boarding to date was 5 months for a senior cat with Cerebellar hypoplasia. My schedule recently changed, so I am available on most days for drop-ins and walks. I also offer boarding, house sitting, and daycare. We are a very animal friendly household. I have a fenced yard and a kiddie pool so your doggos can play and keep cool! My piggy will be there to keep your baby company and I have a 14 year old kid who loves to snuggle and play with all your pets! Cats will enjoy their own space so they can feel comfortable ☺️ !!!Important Notes!!!: I love watching and caring for your snuggle bug(s)! However, I have to sleep too. If you can't pick up your pet before 7pm, one additional day of boarding or doggy daycare will be added to your booking. An additional fee will be added for dogs over 40 pounds. Dogs under 1 year and/or "bully breeds" will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed. These are incidents that I will not risk repeating. Thank you so much for understanding!

About: I have always loved animals growing up, I’m always the one to go pet the animal at a friend’s house while others interact. They all deserve the best love from us. I am starting a supervisor job at a cafe around end of August, but have Mondays off and get off everyday around 3, contact me with what you need and I will try my best to get to them! About: I have lived all my life in the South Bay. I went to school in Rolling Hills, I went to College in Long Beach. I have worked in the Aerospace industry since the 1980's. In 2012 rescued a Pitbull from a abusive life. So I immersed myself in learning the Dog Whispers' training methods. I have had a dog ever since my third birthday. I have worked with Dachshunds, Schnauzer Terriers, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull's, Poodles, Shih Tzu, and Beagles. I believe all dogs have been given to mankind to show us how to live life. Unconditional love, live in the moment, don't worry and greet everyone with excitement and love. In conclusion, I will always treat you family member as my own and love taking care of them. I am retired so I am very flexible. I currently Walk dogs for elderly people at the Apache Mobile Home park. I am looking to expanding my services outside the park.
