About: Hello animal lovers - I have benefitted from Rover for dog sitting and realize it's something I'd love to do myself. My husband (a social worker) and I are both dog lovers and have a dog (a Frenchie) as well. I work from home (I run a marketing agency I started 12 year ago) and alas much of typical day I'm on zoom, and treasure the breaks for walking and loving on the dogs. While new to Rover, if been helping out friends and neighbors with dog care and logistics and sharing the love for years I'm reliable, work from home, and would love to know how you could use some help. Currently offering to sit or board one dog at a time or arrange prescheduled walks. I'll treat them like family. Comfortable with dogs of many sizes and personalities, and happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! Our dog Fiona, a frenchie, plays well with others and has some unique needs including no rough play + daily medicine needs so we're familiar with special rules and medical needs. We do a morning walk, a mid day walk, an "after work" walk and a before bed walk. I work from home so am genrrally around all day. While flexible, I imagine at least initially the primary offering will be to host and care for your dog at our place but am open to house sitting if there's a great fit, I work from home. I can host your dog weekdays and weekends but know on weekends we may have friends (and sometimes friends with dogs) stop by. We have a fenced in deck otherwise for excercise we take leashed walks. I currently am only offering care in my own home and plan to only host one additional dog overnight at a time. Ask me any questions you'd like.

About: I will spoil your dog with attention and provide you with complete peace of mind. You can rest assured that your dog is safe and happy and getting the care you specify (such as health needs or special diet) and the love your dog wants (games, walks, toys, treats, hugs, and other canine amusements). My work is part-time, online, and at my own pace, so I can easily shift my attention to your dog's needs for walks and playtime. I have a small fenced yard with artificial grass, and there is a large park at the end of the street, two or three small parks in the neighborhood, and a 2-mile trail to downtown. I have whatever a dog needs but ideally, pets should arrive with their own favorite "furniture," toys, and treats.

I have a couple of years experience working in a veterinary clinic giving me experience medicating animals, including giving injections. I have a pool for dogs who love to swim! I was a volunteer and puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence back in the mid to late 1980's, and a Puppy Petter for Assistance Dog Institute in the early 2000's. I've also kept busy with boarding in my home for friends and acquaintances. I love dogs!! I have Sundays and Mondays off from my full time job, but I can fit in a nice walk after 4 pm most other days. When I have someone's dog, they get my full attention; we play, exercise, snuggle. My focus is providing an enriching experience for your dog .

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and understand them well. My sweet kitty just passed away at 20 years old and I’d love to help take care of yours. I frequently travel for work for weeks on end, but when I am home and able to cat-sit, my schedule can be completely flexible. Day / night. Since I only offer cat-sitting, I doubt that this section about my own house will matter much. Cats don’t like to be relocated for temporary purposes.

About: I've cared for dogs for friends over the years, and it's always been a rewarding experience. I'm excited to spend my summer meeting new dogs and providing them with loving, dependable care. I grew up with dogs and have experience with puppies as well—we once took in a stray who turned out to be pregnant, so I got firsthand experience helping care for a litter. Being around dogs has always been a big part of my life, and I enjoy giving them the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. About: I am a devoted animal person. I have had dogs and cats my whole life, and am experienced with puppies as well as senior dogs. I currently work remotely and have a flexible schedule. I am available for dog walking weekdays and some weekends. Open to special requests and needs. My home has a large doggie door which opens to large fenced in yard. Dogs come in and out as they please. Lots of play toys and special attention.

About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. I will spoil them until you return. I have been rescuing animals since I was little and to this day continue to do so when I can. I had a dog that had seizures, so I am very aware of what to look for and what to do. I will send updates so you know your fur child is relaxed , spoiled and loved. I am a stay at home pet mom. I am available to give them all the love , care & attention they need while your away at work or they need an extra walk. Maybe you want to leave town for the day? Im here to help with your fur child. I have always made sure I am attentive to my surroundings and what the fur babies may pickup off the floor. I carry extra leashes just in case we need them. My fur babies have 3 dog beds but are always allowed on my bed and sofa. They have a ball pit full of toys , and when I need to leave for a moment babygates and dog fence it is.

About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs for 30 years. I have two Pittbull mixes , one boxer Pitt and one Pitt bulldog. The Pitt Bull Dog has intervertebral disk disease and used my training in occupational therapy and massage and did physical therapy with him myself so he could use his back legs again, after being paralyzed and needing a wheelchair. He’s now able to walk without his wheelchair. I’ve also taken pittbull training classes with them and am knowledgeable about training cues. I currently work as a distribution sales executive, and work from home, so have free time in the afternoons and weekends. I have a baby and two dogs of my own and would still be able to take some time to visit other dogs in my area. I can check on pets during the day or while clients are on vacation . I can take them on walks, let them out in the yard, play fetch , feed them , snuggle them, and even give medicine.
About: I love pets and being in nature enhances my love to take care of pets and always more room for more walk or runs which sets up a great times I’m working full time although I work hybrid, two to three days in the office, and will love to pet sit Wednesday, Friday Saturday or Sunday! About: I am a kind, reliable, loving college student who loves spending time with furry friends. I have two dogs of my own and have had a few felines as well in my household. I have volunteered at animal shelters and shadowed veterinarian hospitals and I learned I rather spend time having fun with animals and taking care of them in a surrounding that is most comfortable for them. I have a couple of years experience working in a veterinary clinic giving me experience medicating animals, including giving injections. I have a pool for dogs who love to swim! I was a volunteer and puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence back in the mid to late 1980's, and a Puppy Petter for Assistance Dog Institute in the early 2000's. I've also kept busy with boarding in my home for friends and acquaintances. I love dogs!! I have Sundays and Mondays off from my full time job, but I can fit in a nice walk after 4 pm most other days. When I have someone's dog, they get my full attention; we play, exercise, snuggle. About: I am a devoted animal person. I have had dogs and cats my whole life, and am experienced with puppies as well as senior dogs. I currently work remotely and have a flexible schedule. I am available for dog walking weekdays and some weekends. Open to special requests and needs. My home has a large doggie door which opens to large fenced in yard. Dogs come in and out as they please. Lots of play toys and special attention.
