“Amanda was very gracious towards our very naughty puppy. Apparently, some of the nervous behaviors that we don’t see at home came out with an unholy flourish at Amanda‘s home. But I appreciate the fact that Amanda gave us a full and honest report (which is helpful for us to gauge the areas he still needs significant training) and was very kind about the negatives. The most important thing, though, was that he settled down in the car almost immediately. Our dog is a very nervous dog, so if he has had a rough time at a dog sitter, we know right away because he whines and whimpers all the way home. After leaving Amanda‘s house, he winded for about 60 seconds and then went to sleep. Hallelujah! Thank you, Amanda, for the top quality care you have given to our very low quality puppy. We currently have our own dog and so caring for yours will fit naturally into the flow we already have going! I have a fenced yard, where my pup and yours can play as much as they want! We have trails and parks near by for walks and runs, if you’d like for your pup to have exercise in those ways as well.

She sent us messages to keep us posted on how Mochi was doing and also a video of Mochi eating which was a concern because she is a picky eater. His whole life he’s been terrified of the water but he felt so comfortable that he even jumped in the pond a few times for a swim! Linda sent us pictures and kept us updated the whole time we were gone, it really helped us relax a little more and felt so good to know he was in such great hands! We also really appreciate that they do not take on too many dogs at one time so we know that Bear is getting the attention he needs and likes.
