About: I am a pet sitter full time. I have been certified as a professional pet sitter thru Pet Sitters International. We have a doggie door and a fenced in secure yard. Our house is air conditioned for those hot summer days. I provide walks and baths if needed. There are numerous wineries in the area if you'd like to enjoy a day of tasting or try one of our great restaurants and leave your pets with me. I can also feed and care for your dog or cat at your home if preferred (Hopland to Healdsburg and surrounding area. I have 2 small dogs of my own. Please make sure your pup is up to date in all vaccinations before any overnights or daycare. Overnights at your house or mine. Your pup will be very well cared for and may not want to go home. I can provide drop in visits at hotels for those visiting in the area. I can also chaperone your pet during your wedding and provide transportation. A long walk after breakfast is always a must. We come home for a little rest. And then around midday we go out back for some ball playing and fetching followed by a little sunbathing. Pets safety is always the number one priority. Pets will always be on leash while outside the home. Back yard is securely fenced. I have a dog gate up by front door so I dog can not run out if front door is opened.

About: Walks through Armstrong Redwoods are a favorite activity. I have a large yard and a dog friendly house. I have a couple of years experience working in a veterinary clinic giving me experience medicating animals, including giving injections. I have a pool for dogs who love to swim! I was a volunteer and puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence back in the mid to late 1980's, and a Puppy Petter for Assistance Dog Institute in the early 2000's. I've also kept busy with boarding in my home for friends and acquaintances. I love dogs!! I have Sundays and Mondays off from my full time job, but I can fit in a nice walk after 4 pm most other days. When I have someone's dog, they get my full attention; we play, exercise, snuggle. About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. About: Fully vaccinated even have a booster shot and work at Paradise Pet Resort as a Dog Play supervisor. Have been petsitting since I was a kid and have volunteered many times at Sonoma County Animal Shelter and even worked at Sonoma Humane Society. Currently have a beagle and 2 cats. Typically take care of them In the morning and try to come somewhere in the middle of the day to check on them and feed them at night. I check in on them 2-3 times a day and if needed I can stay with them at night. Will walk them at least 30 mins or more 2x a day unless asked other wise cats I will try to spend time with them unless they don’t come won’t chase them. Will clean up after them make sure they have necessities and play with them.

About: I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, growing up with a lovable dog named Marley (in my profile picture). At just 10 years old, I started walking dogs around my neighborhood, and that grew into a passion for pet care. Delphine is in the late stages of terminal cancer, and her care requires patience, gentleness, and a deep respect for her autonomy and quirks. Mackenzie showed all of that and more. She was completely unfazed by the realities of end-of-life care, managing Delphine’s tumors, helping her up and down stairs, and handling the occasional accident with calm and compassion. Delphine, who is usually wary of new people, seemed genuinely at ease in Mackenzie’s presence. That alone speaks volumes. Mackenzie also sent thoughtful, funny updates that made me feel connected even when I couldn’t be there. I’m so grateful that in this tender time, Delphine had someone who treated her with dignity, care, and kindness. If I couldn’t be by her side, I’m thankful Mackenzie was.”
