“Monique was wonderful! We have engaged her as our sitter twice now: once for an overnight stay and once for a 13 day vacation! Monique kept in contact with us every day and sent pictures. Our girls are very used to their normal daily routine but they seemed to adapt to Monique wonderfully! A very telling moment for me was when we got back from vacation and I picked the dogs up. Got the dogs in the car and they were very glad to see me but as soon as they realized we were leaving without Monique they were like: Wait! You forgot her! They soon settled down but it was obvious they did not like leaving her. We can STRONGLY recommend Monique as a perfect sitter for your pup(s). “Lauren and her family are nothing short of fantastic. They watched our 14 year old pupper, Duke, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. This was our first time using a pet sitter, so we were a bit nervous- but Lauren and her family made it such a positive, comforting experience. Lauren was incredibly communicative throughout the planning, and even during Duke's stay. Her family has a genuine love for animals- I can't even begin to overstate it. One of the sweetest moments? I came to pick Duke up from his sleepover and, as we were walking out the door, Duke actually walked back in just to say goodbye to the kids. That's how we knew he felt safe and happy there. About: Hello fur parents! I have been a dog and cat lover for as long as I can remember. Since the ripe age of 8 years old I have taken care of my pets. From my personal pets such as dogs and cats. I even volunteered at a bunny shelter back in the day! Family and friends would tell you one word about me and that is reliable. I am reliable in ensuring fur babies are taken care of and comfortable. Since my last fur baby passed, I am more open in availability to help other fur babies be and feel safe while the parents are away! I grew up on a ranch and have cared for many different animals over the years. I’ve had dogs my whole life. I have experience with blind and deaf dogs as well. I have one dog that is 5 years old. He is fun and loving. He is a medium size dog who would love a playmate on the weekends! I often take my dog to the dog park or to the beach for walks and play. About: I have a lifetime of professional and personal experience with dogs and cats. I have a degree in Animal Science and have been a Wildlife Biologist for the past 7 years. In addition, I have 3 years of experience working as a veterinary assistant in multiple veterinary clinics. Aside from professional experience, I have owned dogs my entire life. I have owned 2 Labradors, a Golden Retriever, a Pit bull, a Whippet, a Rottweiler, 2 Huskies, and I currently have a Dachshund and chocolate lab. I have also had cats my entire life. About: I've had the gift of house/pet sitting for over 10 years, and it is without a doubt the most rewarding job I've ever experienced! Personally, I've had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, horses, and hermit crabs as pets, besides the odd rescued baby bird, bunny, or mouse. On top of cats, dogs, and fish, I've had the opportunity to care for alpacas, an African grey parrot, and saltwater fish/reefs, while pet sitting. Every animal I encounter has its own identity and temperament, which is always fun and interesting to observe and base my care on. I feel like such a winner when I get a standoffish animal to trust me! Throughout my life I've had an array of animals to bond with, though for a long period recently we had just one cat. Mournfully, a few years ago, my dad and I had to part with our beloved Stevie. She was our close companion for over 15 years, and I still miss her immensely. Her quirks and routines still cross my mind, which brings all the things that made her unique and lovable up into my heart. Pet sitting warms my heart, and definitely fills the need that I still have for animal companionship (but without the heartbreak). Pet sitting is a way for me to have the joy of loving and caring for a pet in an empathetic way: in their own home, on their own schedule, stepping into their owner's (figurative) shoes for a bit, to make *everyone* more comfortable. Time and again, it's proven to be the best way I've found to give personalized care to precious pets, and allow owners to truly enjoy their time away. My part-time library job offers me a lot of flexibility, leaving me the opportunity to do more of what I love. Traveling, exploring new areas, experiencing new food, going to music events, working out/walking, spiritual activities, and creative endeavors have a place in my life because of this balance. Of course that also includes one of the most rewarding ways to punctuate my life: house and pet sitting! I base my care around the individual needs of the pet and owner! Pets LOVE their routines, so I typically live in harmony with their modus operandi, on balance with my part-time engagements.

We left our fur baby for 3 nights 4 days with Berenisse and during that time, Berenisse was in contact with us, showing us videos and pictures of our pup and keeping us up to date with our puppy’s activities. “Lauren and her family are nothing short of fantastic. They watched our 14 year old pupper, Duke, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. This was our first time using a pet sitter, so we were a bit nervous- but Lauren and her family made it such a positive, comforting experience. Lauren was incredibly communicative throughout the planning, and even during Duke's stay. Her family has a genuine love for animals- I can't even begin to overstate it. One of the sweetest moments? I came to pick Duke up from his sleepover and, as we were walking out the door, Duke actually walked back in just to say goodbye to the kids. That's how we knew he felt safe and happy there. We already have plans for Duke to have future sleepovers with Lauren and her family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, responsible, and attentive pet sitter. About: Hi, my name is Landon, I'm from Salinas, California and it's my second year living in Eugene. I attended the university last year and now I'm taking a gap year to get my financials in order, in state tuition, etc. so I can finish my degree. My girlfriend and I have been together 3 years and her parents have 17 and 20 years of experience in the animal field. Her dad is one of the head animal control officers for Monterey County (where we're from) and has taught both of us so much about dogs and cats. Whether it be training methods, foods that are better than others, how to recognize certain behavioral habits, or any problem we come to him with, her dad has taught us how to truly take the best care of a dog. If I were to be accepted to take care of your pet, I would use all of my tools and knowledge and my whole heart to show your furry kid love. Currently, I'm looking for any job so my schedule is wide open! Caring for your pet will be at the top of my list as soon as I hear I can take care of them. So I unfortunately would not be able to care for pets at my house for extended periods of time, as my place doesn't allow ownership of pets, but one night wouldn't hurt at all. Any pet I encounter I treat as if it were my own, and with that comes smothering them with love, and caring to meet their needs as a pup while to a certain degree, spoiling them!

I don’t have any pets myself so okay with dogs/cats that don’t like or can’t be around other animals 👍🏻 Available in Grover Beach for walking, boarding, house check ins, any pet related needs! I set my own work schedule, don’t tend to be away from home for more then a couple hours at a time, and I live with my grandmother who loves to sit and talk animals so they’ll get plenty of love and attention! About: I am a very nice, loving and caring pet owner of two cats and one dog. My fur babies are my life and I would treat your fur babies with the same love and care as I do to my own. I have owned my own animals for 4 years and I have had family pets in my family since I was born. My favorite thing to do is play with my animals. I run and walk with my German Shepherd around our huge yard. I live on a big dirt land of property so there is plenty of room for playing. I also love to snuggle with my animals. I really enjoy when they lay by me. All three of my animals are friendly and loving. I am a recently single stay at home mom trying to make some extra income for my kids and I that doesn’t involve them being away from me which give me plenty of time with your fur babies! I have a fenced in big back yard and a dog who loves company and two kids who absolutely adore animals! My children would also give a lot of love and attention!
