We were very worried that they have other dogs in the home plus boarding too at the time because my dogs are aggressive towards other dogs and especially our little chihuahua who can’t be walked in the park because of this reason. To my family’s amazement, the day we picked them up, my dogs are mingling with 3 huge dogs—calmly!!! And my chihuahua was even standing under legs of another tall dog like they had a good time in general! None were aggressive and they all get along!!! About: For over 7 years, I’ve provided dedicated care for dogs of all breeds and ages. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, or extra cuddles, I treat every pet like family. However, Fri-Sun I have more than enough time to provide proper care and lots of attention to your furry friends. They're in good hands. During certain months there will be availability during weekdays I provide a safe, welcoming environment with a fenced backyard and one friendly cat, Kurin, for companionship. If needed, I can easily crate your pup. I always supervise playtime, ensure pets have fresh water, and give them plenty of love and attention so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I would like them to roam freely around the house unless specified otherwise. The goal is to try and recreate their normal routine, so they feel at home.

About: I love and have cared for dogs since I was 15, I have patience for any breed and I have open availability. My most recent dog I cared for is a pug. He was a puppy and I trained him how to go on the pee pads and when he got a little older we went for walks. I always go for walks, always make sure the puppy/dog gets enough attention, food and water. I have watched all sizes of breeds from chihuahua to a husky, unfortunately because I just moved into an apartment I could not watch bigger breeds from home but I am always willing to drive to you! About: I have always grown up with having a pet in the home. Currently, I have two: a young 1 year old shitzu and a senior 11 year old maltipoo (you can imagine how they get along). I have basic skills on training some tricks. My true enjoyment is playing with pets. They heal something in me, and I think they know that. I am currently transitioning from being a full-time graduate student to full-time employee. It has been interesting to say the least. That said, my schedule is very flexible! I am on the onboarding process to a part time. However, I am happy to work with any owner to ensure a happy puppy. Unfortunately, I do not have a fenced front yard, so I will take out any pets with a leash for safety. I do have two small house dogs who are very friendly and happy to welcome any new friends.

About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

About: As someone who has owned pets, I have years of experience in caring for cats, dogs, lizards, bunnies and more! When I could not locate a proper groomer for my shihtzu, I learned how cut my dog’s hair and clip his nails. When I owned cats, I did extensive research on diet to ensure they had all the nutrition they needed. I’m still fairly new to owning bunnies but I have learned a lot from vet visits and testimonials from other bun parents! I’m also careful about safety double checking doors, gates, leashes, and making sure pets don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. About: I love and have cared for dogs since I was 15, I have patience for any breed and I have open availability. My most recent dog I cared for is a pug. He was a puppy and I trained him how to go on the pee pads and when he got a little older we went for walks. I always go for walks, always make sure the puppy/dog gets enough attention, food and water. I have watched all sizes of breeds from chihuahua to a husky, unfortunately because I just moved into an apartment I could not watch bigger breeds from home but I am always willing to drive to you! About: I have loved animals my entire life and feel that I connect very well with animals. I have a cat myself but love cats and dogs equally! Very prompt responses and convenient booking! About: My passion for animals started when I was young. I begged for a puppy at the age ten until I got one. My first pet was a teacup chihuahua, named Teacup, and I absolutely adored her. “Jill and Liz were great, I’d give them 10stars if I can. They worked within our range to board our 3 small dogs for overnight. Jill made sure the pets can explore and get accustomed to the place so my dogs get comfortable before we left. She set up my babies own spot as they have other dogs. We were very worried that they have other dogs in the home plus boarding too at the time because my dogs are aggressive towards other dogs and especially our little chihuahua who can’t be walked in the park because of this reason. To my family’s amazement, the day we picked them up, my dogs are mingling with 3 huge dogs—calmly!!! And my chihuahua was even standing under legs of another tall dog like they had a good time in general! None were aggressive and they all get along!!! Just for that experience for my dogs and the fact they were able to do that, is such a good plus!!! Thank you Jill and Liz!! Highly recommended multiple times over!!!”
About: For over 7 years, I’ve provided dedicated care for dogs of all breeds and ages. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, or extra cuddles, I treat every pet like family. However, Fri-Sun I have more than enough time to provide proper care and lots of attention to your furry friends. They're in good hands. If needed, I can easily crate your pup. I always supervise playtime, ensure pets have fresh water, and give them plenty of love and attention so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. “Summer was amazing in one word. This young lady graciously took on watching my Great Dane that is a hefty 130lbs pounds and is a little over a year so still a puppy. So one can assume correctly that she can be a handful. However, again she is my baby and this is my first time having anyone watch her. And honestly I could not be more grateful that it was Summer watching her. My baby is apart of a champion blood line out of Illinois so she is truly one of a kind. That aside, Summer sent me updates routinely that included pics. She also just didn’t watch my dog she took her on walks, introduced her to her horse (which she did ask me first), and she took her a couple of other places with her. I am so impressed with Summer that she will be my doggy sitter every time.”
