I highly recommend her and will use her again myself. There isn't any hesitation knowing my dog will be given exceptional care.”

“Breanna is the best! She has watched Lily for us several times. It is so nice to go out of town and not have to worry about our dog. We know she is in good hands. Lily comes home clean and worn out from playing with her friends.”

“I’ve never had my dogs literally excited once they realized they were being dropped off at a dog sitter before. This is my second time using Sara and when I was standing at her front door to drop them off, my elderly dog was scratching at the door to be let in! Both dogs immediately acted like she was family. Highly recommend”

“So happy to have our pups stay with her last minute! She gave updates/pictures and is quick to respond. Will definitely go back to her again when we need someone to watch our dogs!”

“Jill and Liz are fantastic! We were driving from SF to LA for a long weekend and wanted to give our 2 chihuahua mixed pups a little vacation of their own—Jill and Liz's home was just the ticket! Their backyard is truly a pup's paradise—large enough to run and play with some shade to hang out in and even a water feature to splash around. They were really great about sending tons of pictures as updates and very patient and understanding with Frankie who was a little stressed at being left, so initially he wasn't eating his food—they coaxed him with some shredded chicken, and he came around by the end of the second day. We could tell our pups were getting TLC with the pics of them snuggled in Liz's lap or blankets while hanging out on the couch and bed. To top it all off, when we came to pick up our babies, Jill and Liz surprised us with a framed photo of each dog! It was such a sweet gesture. We highly recommend them and will definitely use them if we ever do another road trip to LA (if they were closer to SF, we'd re-book in a heartbeat!!) Thanks so much for everything, Jill and Liz! xoxo Coco and Frankie”

“Ana is the best! I'm forever grateful for her. She took care of my 16 yr. old baby for a week. Ana and her family treated her like their own!!! She sent me pictures & updated me. I truly knew my baby was the best care possible!!”

I am a 3 sport athlete with a 3.8 gpa thats ready for energetic playful dogs and lazy couch potato dogs, as i have both kinds myself! My schedule is fairly open most days. I was raised to respect people houses and living space. I have never and will never drink or smoke. About: I am a caring, reliable, and patient cat sitter who treats every cat like family. I understand that every cat has a different personality, and I take the time to make them feel relaxed and cared for while their owners are away.
About: Caring for dogs has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. My love for animals began with my first two dogs — a German Shepherd and a Retriever mix — who taught me the joy and responsibility that come with caring for pets. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets as if they were my own. Whether it’s keeping them active, giving them attention, or making sure they feel safe and happy, I take pride in providing dependable and affectionate care. I truly believe every dog deserves to be treated like family — and that’s exactly how I care for them. I work from home so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding, walks, and drop-in visits on weekends and weekdays. I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. My dog is small and gentle with others as well.

“This was first time leaving my dog. I was a little nervous since we were in town for my husbands work so I was not familiar with the area, people or just leaving him. Nalani did a great job making it comfortable for me. I took my dog to her two days and it was such a great experience. He did well and Nalani gave him lots of attention. Thank you so much for taking care of my fur baby while we were in town. I highly recommend her.”

About: I’m a dedicated 21 year old dog lover who currently cares for two rescued female puppies. They are friendly and fixed :) Raising young shelter dogs has given me hands-on experience with puppy routines, socialization, basic training, exercise, and lots of patience. I understand the importance of consistency, positive reinforcement, and creating a safe, comfortable environment for pets. Growing up, I also owned a Chihuahua and spent time dog walking for others ever since I was a kid, which helped me learn how to work with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with active puppies, shy dogs, and dogs that need extra attention and reassurance. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your dog needs playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply a caring companion while you're away, I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I currently work part-time as a delivery driver, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to stay close to home throughout the day. Because of that, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention. I care for my own two young dogs every day, so pet care is already a major part of my routine. When I'm not working, I spend time walking, training, playing with, and caring for them. My flexible schedule allows me to adjust my day around the needs of the pets in my care and make sure they receive the attention, supervision, and affection they deserve. Safety is my top priority when caring for pets. In my home, dogs have access to a large, securely fenced yard where they can play, exercise, and explore safely under supervision. I also have a large crate available for dogs who are crate-trained or need a quiet place to relax. If a dog needs their own space, I can separate them using a dog gate and provide a comfortable area in my home where they can rest safely. I always monitor interactions between pets and make sure each dog is comfortable and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions. I believe consistency helps pets feel secure and comfortable while their owners are away. My goal is to provide a safe, calm, and caring environment where every pet feels at home.
“Karla Michelle took wonderful care of my dog Rhonda! My dog is anxious around new people but she was safe and cared for when she stayed with Karla. Karla sent me updates and photos, and Rhonda felt comfortable around her dogs who are calm and friendly. I would definitely rebook in the future with Karla Michelle!”

“Veronica is really kind and gentle to my dog that is extremely anxious and whiny. The rover card was updated and photos were uploaded as well. And it was a bit chilly and she gave my dog a nice sweater to go home with.”

About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

She is trustworthy and goes the extra mile to make sure your dog is comfortable, and updated throughout the day without needing to be asked. I’d recommend her if you are looking for someone to trust with the security of your home, and safety and happiness of your animals.”

About: As someone who has owned pets, I have years of experience in caring for both cats, dogs, lizards, and bunnies! When I could not locate a proper groomer for my shihtzu, I learned how cut my dog’s hair and clip his nails. When I owned cats, I did extensive research on diet to ensure they had all the nutrition they needed. I’m still fairly new to owning bunnies but I have learned a lot from vet visits and testimonials from other bun parents! I work during the day time usually from 8-1 or 9-3. I can fit late afternoon and nightly check ins, baths, walks, overnight sitting, and errands into my day if that’s what you’d like. I would love to spend as much time as I can making sure that your pet is well loved and taken care of. I don’t want to break an animal’s routine so if you have your pet on a schedule/routine, diet, or regiment of some sort, I plan to stick to that.

I’m especially attentive to each dog’s behavior and energy level, making sure they get the right balance of play, rest, and care while you’re away. Pet care fits into my routine in a very consistent and flexible way. I naturally build my schedule around reliability and attention to detail, so I’m used to checking in on responsibilities throughout the day rather than letting things pile up. On a daily basis, I can dedicate time in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and any needed check-ins on weekends. Evenings during the week. I’m good at adjusting my schedule to match the pet’s routine, whether that means early morning walks or evening drop-ins. On a weekly level, I plan ahead so I can make sure I’m available for longer care periods like overnights or multiple visits per day. I’m also comfortable being consistent with routines like medication schedules, exercise, and keeping the pet’s environment clean and safe. Overall, I treat pet care like a real responsibility, not something I “fit in” when convenient I structure my time around it to make sure the pet stays comfortable and cared for. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping the pet’s routine as normal and stress free as possible. I follow the instructions exactly as provided feeding schedule, portion sizes, walk times, medication (if any), and any specific behavior or care notes about the pet. For daily care, I make sure the pet gets attention, exercise, and interaction, not just basic needs. That can include walks, playtime, accidents if needed, refreshing water, and making sure the home is kept tidy and secure while I’m there. I’m also careful about safety double checking doors, gates, leashes, and making sure pets don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. I pay attention to how the pet is acting so I can notice any changes in mood, appetite, or behavior and communicate that right away if something seems off. I don’t just “stop by and do tasks” I treat it like I’m temporarily responsible for the pet’s wellbeing and comfort, and I make sure they feel calm and cared for while their owner is away.

About: I've had pet dogs of different sizes across my life, and I've met very few dogs that didn't get along with eventually. I volunteer time at a local animal shelter to walk and play with the dogs there that need it. I have an open routine at the moment, so I am able to accomodate your schedule. My pets are used to walking at odd hours in the summer, so I'm sure they won't mind 😁 This should be pretty straightforward, as I'm offering walking and home visits. I will not board dogs, as my other pups don't like the intrusion.

“Nalani was great with Gerald! I had to reschedule for a last minute boarding and she was able to take him in and make sure he was safe and happy! Will definitely be sticking with rover as my boarding whenever I am in need of a sitter for my dog.”

“Rene was absolutely the best! Renee proved to be a great Dog sitter! She was not only capable and cheerful, but very professional also. She opened her arms and home to my "Smokey", her family interacted well giving him the love and attention, we all want when we leave our precious pets. I highly recommend her and will use her again myself. There isn't any hesitation knowing my dog will be given exceptional care.”

“My Kash couldn’t have been in better hands loved the picture updates I received as it was my first time leaving him anywhere. I felt reassured his whole stay there. Will definitely be booking again now that I have someone I can trust with my fur baby.”

“Excellent dog sitter! Already booked my next appointment with Dominie. She sent frequent updates including pictures of my dogs. My dogs were very happy in her care and loved getting frequent walks.”

“Veronica was a gem to work with. She was very sweet and gentle with my dog. She communicated quickly and clearly and I had no issues whatsoever with her. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Adriana was incredible with my senior dog! I'm completely obsessed with him & she made me feel at ease while I was on vacation. She did an amazing job sending me pictures & updates on him. I would 100 percent use her again as well as highly recommend her to friends & family. Thank you Adriana!!!!”

“We were nervous at first because it was our first time using Rover but Alondra put us at ease and made sure to update us with photos along the way. Our pup was happy and energetic when we picked him up. We’ll definitely use her again!”

“Angelita was great! She took great care of our English bulldog Taz. Even though he is a high maintenance dog, she still took the time to do his daily wrinkle cleansing and we really appreciate that. She was very accommodating to a last minute extension of our trip. We are thankful for the care of our fur baby.”

“Akie is absolutely fantastic! I had my dog boarded with her for 9 days and she was sending me updates with pictures and videos everyday with my dog! She really does care for them and makes sure they get enough exercise outside, treats, and love. I would recommend her to anyone with their dogs! Thanks again!”

“Lauren was awesome. My girlfriend and I were not from the area and needed extra last minute support because of a medical emergency. Lauren responded right away and came to pick up our dog from the hospital. She sent updates throughout the weekend and I know blue was in good hands. If I lived in the area I’d hire Lauren all the time.”
