Taryn’s home has become my dogs home away from home. This time my family’s trip had to be extended a few days due to our flight being cancelled amidst a weather storm, so Taryn was very flexible and accommodating. I found Casey online, she confirmed she will take a GSD so we arranged a meet and greet first so I could see how my dog was reacting to the environment and other dogs. That went fine, so I booked a 4 night stay recently. I was so pleased with how Casey took care of Pipa, she sent me a photo, gave me updates on how Pipa was doing and everything went really well. Casey let Pipa sleep at the foot of her bed and I think that made my dog feel really secure and she played well with the other dogs. Great stay and I was very pleased all around.”

She sent pictures and videos and our pup looked like he had a great time (so smiley in every pic). Since it was an emergency we weren't 100% sure when we would be able to drop off and pick up with certainity and she worked with us on it. I take the wellbeing of any animals in my care with utmost care and compassion and will happily care for any under my care with love and their wellbeing in mind! Im currently looking for a job atm and looking for additional income. I take great pride in the care I provide for my own animals and will do so for any that I'm around. My husky has a history of seizures when she gets to excited so I'm not able to bring other animals around her and I currently live with a few roommates so unfortunately I can't do boarding at this time due these circumstances but I would love to provide care for any furbabies that need it.

About: Aside from raising my own 2 fur babies ( 2 kitties now), I’ve helped take care of others’ pets from large Dobermans to small kittens. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter primarily walking and socializing with the big dogs. I’ve raised both cats and dogs to senior years (I lost my old dog girl and kitty girl last year, both 15). As my title states, I’m an RN and am very comfortable with giving medications to fur babies (as I do with humans) as well as taking care of any illness issues within reason (wound care/ monitoring / accidents). When it comes to senior care of animals, I understand the need for them to get extra special love and attention, and medication to keep them as happy and healthy as possible. I believe in making pets as comfortable as possible and letting them know that I’m there to help and give love (if they want). When it comes to dog walking, I’m really vigilant about our surroundings and making sure that dogs get a good safe walk. I definitely gravitate towards animals over humans haha. I work part-time out of town, and so I have a lot of time spent at home with my own animals. I want to spend my time I have to help others too (hence also my volunteering at the animal shelter right now to). I prefer to spend time with pets as much as allowed in their home while also following routines previously set for them. Whether it’s playing out in the back yard, or just hanging out together on the couch or floor and relaxing, I like the pet to know that I’m there and not alone. If crating is necessary or part of the dogs routine, I can do that too.

I found Casey online, she confirmed she will take a GSD so we arranged a meet and greet first so I could see how my dog was reacting to the environment and other dogs. That went fine, so I booked a 4 night stay recently. I was so pleased with how Casey took care of Pipa, she sent me a photo, gave me updates on how Pipa was doing and everything went really well. Casey let Pipa sleep at the foot of her bed and I think that made my dog feel really secure and she played well with the other dogs. Great stay and I was very pleased all around.”
