About: Growing up on a farm I have had cats as pets my whole life. I raised farm animals in 4-H and FFA when I was young and graduated with a degree in Agricultural science. I am a retired science teacher and I love cats and kittens. My two cats live in my bedroom suite in one wing of my house. I have a ranch style house with two wings and two secure yards. I recently added a catio outside so my cats have a safe enclosure to enjoy outside time also. This yard is dedicated to cats and their catios. I know how much I love my animals and I decided I would like to board cats when their owners need cat care. (vacations/ business trips). I realized I could give your pet individualized care in a luxurious, safe large cat condo indoors in one wing of my house. Each cat that stays with me has their own 3 space catio condo in a bedroom dedicated to my cat boarding. See pictures. I don’t want cats to feel stress with their temporary boarding so I provide a large space for them and often only one cat family at a time. No dogs allowed in this area. They will also be able to go outdoors in their own personal catio condo for part of their day if so desired. I want all pets to feel safe and comfortable. If your cat loves being petted and having attention, I will give it. I would also do drop in visits at your home to care for your pets’ needs. I have done drop in cat pet care for the last four years and I have boarded dogs for the last four years for friends.

I have a fence yard and two playful dogs one medium and one puppy. I'll definitely have them inside if it's too hot or too cold definitely don't need any animals sick on my watch. I have a doggy door so they can go inside and outside to the back yard. They'll be safe and if you'd like I'll snap few pictures of them while your away.

“Taryn was an amazing help. We had a last minute cancellation with our original boarding plans and i contacted Taryn in which she responded quickly that she could watch him for us. She was great with communicating with us when we were gone. We were worried that since our husky,Loki,is a high energy dog that it could be too much but she seemed experienced and could manage his energy which we loved. When we picked up Loki he was so happy and seemed to have a good time staying with her. We will look forward to using her again in the future :)”
