About: Growing up on a farm I have had cats as pets my whole life. I raised farm animals in 4-H and FFA when I was young and graduated with a degree in Agricultural science. I am a retired science teacher and I love cats and kittens. My two cats live in my bedroom suite in one wing of my house. I have a ranch style house with two wings and two secure yards. I recently added a catio outside so my cats have a safe enclosure to enjoy outside time also. This yard is dedicated to cats and their catios. I know how much I love my animals and I decided I would like to board cats when their owners need cat care. (vacations/ business trips). I realized I could give your pet individualized care in a luxurious, safe large cat condo indoors in one wing of my house. Each cat that stays with me has their own 3 space catio condo in a bedroom dedicated to my cat boarding. See pictures. I don’t want cats to feel stress with their temporary boarding so I provide a large space for them and often only one cat family at a time. No dogs allowed in this area. They will also be able to go outdoors in their own personal catio condo for part of their day if so desired. I want all pets to feel safe and comfortable. If your cat loves being petted and having attention, I will give it. I would also do drop in visits at your home to care for your pets’ needs. I have done drop in cat pet care for the last four years and I have boarded dogs for the last four years for friends.

“This was my first time ever needing a dog sitter who wasn't a family member or friend and having my current 6 month old timid velcro puppy means that I had to be extra wary of where I leave her. When Anya and I met Audra during the meet and greet we were able to chat for a while and I felt totally comfortable explaining my own concerns and Anyas needs of patience and time. Audra was able to address them all and the answers she gave made me feel she would be a great fit. Dropping off my puppy was hard but it was easier knowing that someone who seems to really love dogs and was capable of accomodating a more timid dog had her. I was able to get updates throughout her daycare stay and when I picked her up she seemed perfectly fine and elated to see me. Driving home she was plum tuckered out and napped but when she got back home Anya was back to her regularly scheduled trouble. I gave her a look over and saw no issues and behavioral wise Anya acts as if she had never been gone at all. Afterwards I asked Audra some questions about Anya and how she did to follow up with her dog training and received prompt responses that will help me make sure that this timid pup continues to thrive and grow in confidence. If I have to find someone to watch her again or need an overnight boarding I will definitely see if Audra is available first.”

Unfortunately I will not be boarding animals that are not fixed or house trained. I'll give your animal a bath but I do ask for $5 donation to keep the bathing supplies in stock. They'll enjoy the playful pups I have Ravoli and Violet they are so energetic and full of great personalities. I have plenty of toys and treats. I have a fence yard and two playful dogs one medium and one puppy. I'll definitely have them inside if it's too hot or too cold definitely don't need any animals sick on my watch. I have a doggy door so they can go inside and outside to the back yard. They'll be safe and if you'd like I'll snap few pictures of them while your away.
About: I have been around many animals since I was little including, fish, guinea pigs, cats, dogs and horses. Fun fact, I’ve had 19 guinea pigs in my lifetime, and have raised my own puppy who is now 4 years old. I am currently in nursing school, so I have a structured weekly routine that allows plenty of dedicated time for pet care. I’m home often to study, which gives me a flexible schedule for walks, feedings, and drop-ins. I make sure pet care is planned into my day so your pets always get reliable attention. I’m very detail-oriented and make sure nothing is missed, and I prioritize clear communication so owners always feel at ease while they’re away. At home, I regularly help care for my brother’s dog and cat, which keeps me very familiar with daily pet routines and different personalities.
