She was super responsive via the app before, during and after which was so critically important to us! We got a lot of timely pics and videos from her, easily available updates and alignment on feeding, bio-breaks and walking events through the app and extremely quick drop off and pickup timings. My dog came back looking normal and happy like we left her. I would use her service again and recommend her wholeheartedly.”

About: I have quite a bit of experience with cats, I own two myself, a mother and her son, Luna (Named by my mother) & Mello (death note inspired) my sister owns the father! We got the father (Ash) and HIS siblings via an anonymous drop off in our back porch, they were put inside our cabinet, a cabinet that they couldn’t get out of, there were 3 babies, I raised them with two of my younger siblings, they would help while I was at work, we would help them potty, bottle feed them, one of them had an eye problem we had to stay on top of, I loved them so much, I would keep them if I could’ve, I found homes for them, but kept Ash! We think they dropped them off with us because I would always put cat food and water outside, for the stray cats I constantly saw around, including a pregnant mama! When I saw she was pregnant, I made a small shelter in our back porch for her, bought a heating pad during the winter. When she had her babies, I saw them grow, until they started eating solids, they grew up, ventured off, mom cat always came back, I hope they’re all doing okay, it’s been a while since I moved away. I do not have any senior care however am 100% open to the opportunity.
About: Although I have more experience with doggies, I fell in love with a cat that I got to house-sit, who lives with a doggie once. I never knew cats could be so cuddly! “This is an emotional review. I had to take the decision to put a 6 month old kitten I had rescued, to sleep yesterday. Raeyna was there to say her final good byes. Six months ago I had rescued 3 kittens. One of those kittens (Scrappy) had severe developmental issues with his spine, hind legs, lower jaw and so on - extremely special needs. A month ago the vet had suggested euthenasia. We were administering a steroid medication, which was showing signs of success, so we were hopeful & not ready to let go. Meanwhile, we had a spring break vacation planned from long before we rescued the kittens. We were extremely nervous about leaving these kittens and going away for a week, our first time away from these little ones. This is the challenge that we put in Raeyna's hands. We had met with a couple of other providers through Rover. However, the meet-&-greet itself with Raeyna was very different. Her veterinary background made her very knowledgable about Scrappy's condition. She summarized a lot of what the vet had explained earlier. However, the most important aspect that shone through was her immediate connection with Scrappy and how she treated him. It was a burden off our shoulders as it seemed we had found someone extemely kind and capable to take care of the kittens while we were away. We had no idea what that would mean. Not only was Raena spectacular in managing the scheduled drop-in visits as per the Rover contract, she went over-&-above in so many ways. She immediately responded to an emergency when the other kittens had toppled over their automated food dispenser and unplugged their water pump. She kept an eye on Scrappy's condition and decided that she could not let him be when his condition deteriorated. With my permission, she took Scrappy for a secondary opinion at her place of work, a very reputed veterenary institution. Unfortunately, the blood work and x-rays confirmed the dire situation. Raeyna decided she was going to board Scrappy with herself so she could keep him more comfortable during what could be his last few days. It was unimaginable how much care Reyna and her family provided and how attached they were to Scrappy. Unfortunately, after we came back, it was evident that the steroids and pain medications were just prolonging the inevitable. When the day came, we said goodbye to Scrappy together. I write this review to suggest that, with Raeyna, you are getting someone who will take as much care of your loved one as you would. I will forever be indebted to her and and I am so glad to have found her on Rover.”

About: We are an Asian family living in a spacious single house family in Newark. We have a 11-year-old male Yorkie, Pudding, who is super friendly to human and his doggie friends. We work from home for most of the days in a week, so there will always be people at home to take care of your pets. We are dedicated to providing your beloved pets 24 hours/7 days accompany and care. We have a fenced backyard where pets could freely hang out and enjoy playing with each other. Plus, we live in the walking distance of Newark Community Center Park on Cedar Blvd, where there is a decent dog park that we could take your pets to on a daily basis. We work from home for most of the days in a week, so there will always be people at home to take care of your pets. Our daily routine includes walking your dog at least one time a day, and/or visiting the dog park. Dogs can go potty in the sideyard and backyard as often as they need. We have a fenced backyard where pets could freely hang out and enjoy playing with each other. Our own 11-year-old Yorkie is very friendly to all human and doggie friends.

They will enjoy daily walks around the lake in our friendly neighborhood. Always feed only what’s on their normal diet. I do have a full-time job, but I am able to do drop ins before and after work. On Thursday's and Friday's, I am also able to do drop ins on my lunch hour, as I work from home. I treat everyone’s pet the way I want my pets to be treated, with patience, kindness, love, & playtime. I follow directions well and appreciate as much information as I can get about your pet.
About: I was born an animal lover! My first job ever was pet sitting/walking my neighbors' dogs. I have always had a passion for caring for animals! I am open to caring for any type of pet you may have at your home. I have been a special education teacher for 11 years, however am taking some time off this year to pursue some personal passions, which means I have a very flexible schedule! For the past 16 years my life has revolved around my two large fur babies (a sweet, loving lab and loyal, active pit), however they have both now passed on. There has been a huge gap in my heart since they are no longer around, and I am hoping I can start to fill that by caring for your pet! I have pet training experience, and spent the past 4 years caring for my aging dogs. I have experience administering medications, special meal plans/feeding needs, injections and caring for pets with special needs. I love spending time cuddling with furry friends, as well as heading out to the trails, park or beach for a day of active fun!

About: Hi! I’m Divya, a big dog lover and the proud owner of a Husky named Yukon, so I’m very comfortable caring for active and energetic dogs. Huskies need a lot of exercise and attention, which has given me great experience with long walks, playtime, and understanding different dog personalities. Over the years my husband and I also watched many friends’ dogs for free while they were away for a day or a weekend. Because of that, I’ve had experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I live in the East Bay and love taking dogs on long walks around the neighborhood or to nearby parks so they can get plenty of exercise and stimulation. Whether your dog needs a walk, a quick bathroom break, or someone to spend time with them while you’re out of town, I’d be happy to help. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and always try to follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible. Just let me know what your dog likes, their habits, and anything I should be aware of so I can make sure they have a great experience. I’d love to help take care of your dog and give you peace of mind while you’re away! I’m currently working from home a few times a week and available for weekend boardings. My husband and I usually are home during the week. Weekends we usually spend a lot of time with our husky. He’s super friendly not overly talkative dog and loves all dogs of all sizes. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and have flexibility to take in a crate or use my dogs large one. We take our dog out 4-5 times a day depending on the day.
