About: I've had the pleasure of loving and taking care of furbabies of all sizes for 20 years. I first started pet sitting for an acquaintance in 2005. Later, when I became established in the area as a trusted house cleaner, I started pet sitting for some of my clients and their friends. I always make sure doors, gates, and windows are secure before and after visits, and I’m careful to follow any household rules or routines the owner has in place. I take the time to learn each pet’s specific needs like feeding schedules, walk routines, and favorite toys so they feel comfortable . I also keep the home tidy, especially around food and litter areas, and I always double check that everything is clean and safe before leaving. My goal is to make things easy and stress-free for both the pet and their owner.
About: I grew up here in Northern California with many different loyal pet dogs. After high school I joined the Army and got out of active duty in 2017. Long story short I moved to Alaska with my pet dog from Yuba City where I learned to be a dog musher and she learned to be sled dog. I’ve worked for various different high level sled dog kennels, thousands of different dogs, thousands of hours with dogs, thousands of miles with dogs, and even spent a year working at an Athletic & Longevity Canine Research Facility under the mentorship of some of best veterinarians and scientists. My knowledge and experience in general canine medical care, psychology, and training is advanced. I currently work from home & have a flexible schedule. I open to the special needs & care of your beloved pet from all ages. Each pet is individually unique when it comes to specific pet care, so I will work diligently with owners to best understand their pet. I have 1 spayed female 8 y/o Shepherd/Husky mix who is well tempered, a lead sled dog, well socialized to keep your pet company(friendly with both dogs & cats). I have a dog door that leads to a fenced in backyard. Regularly scheduled feeding, walks, & bathroom breaks.
About: As of May 2024, I am NAPPS (national Association of Professional Pet Sitters) certified! I have over 15 years of experience handling dog breeds sized from a Pomeranian to a Great Pyrenees. I personally have lived with, raised and trained German Shepherds, American Eskimos and Golden Retrievers. Family, friends and co-workers have utilized me to do anything from regular pet-sitting visiting a couple times a day for basic care and some love, to full-time house sitting. I am very well-versed in caring for seniors, as well as puppies; including managing house-training, and making sure little mouthes find the right things to chew and saving your slippers! I have no trouble caring for multiple animals of multiple species; I personally have dogs, cats and birds, and I've also worked with horses since I was a young child. I am currently available full-time so I can be very flexible for meet and greets with new clients, and standard bookings for overnight pet care services. Drop ins or walks during the week may need to be flexible in terms of scheduling, but I will typically be very accommodating for your scheduling needs so just contact me with any questions! Care will heavily depend on the usual routine for each individual pet/client. I will do my best to adhere to the most normal, expected routine for your animals to make sure they are as unbothered by your absence as possible. This is all done within your home, to help make sure pets don't feel any additional strain by needing to acclimate to a strange place while their family is gone. At minimum, I'm expecting two visits per day when an owner is out of town. Feeding, watering, potty-time walks for any dogs, any other basic care like litter boxes, and some play and love for all of my charges. Care will only go up from there based on client preferences. On a limited basis, I do offer boarding in my home for one client at a time for pups that are friendly with other animals and are up to date on their shots with no behavioral issues. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds since I was 6. Family and friends have trusted me to feed, bath, and take their pets on walks as well as cleaning up the pets’ living areas. I’ve taken care of puppies since I was 8 as my grandma is a dog breeder. I’ve partially trained German wire-haired and Rottweilers I’ve also taken care of cats since I was 10. Taking care of a number of family and friend’s cats and kittens. I am currently working a part time job however I plan on leaving it soon to pursue a college career. I will be available from 8AM-5PM, Monday thru Thursday and all day Friday and Saturday. I provide grooming, from bathing to brushing and nail clipping. Walking and taking dogs on play dates and cleaning up cages or play pins in a client’s home. For cats, I can clean litter boxes, feed and water them. In my home, I’ve given plenty of dogs baths from big to small. I currently own a rabbit, and clean his cage frequently which includes: changing the bedding twice a week, feeding him fresh alfalfa and watering and feeding him. I am more than willing to take care of any extra pets in a household other than dogs and cats!
About: I have an understanding of dog psychology and act calm under pressure. Previously, I was the dog trainer at Petsmart for a year and a half. I love dogs very much and care for their success! My main concern is the dog's health, which is why walking them is extremely important. Giving dog's additional exercise other than playing in the back yard is key to releasing their excess energy. Walks also provide new areas to explore which will give them an opportunity to use their smellers and analyze the world. You will be surprised at how tuckered out they become! If you wanted to have your dog work on socialization and make new dog friends, I am more than willing to help your fur baby improve in this area. I am available Tuesday through Saturday mornings for a walk. There is a possibility of opening a window of availability in the afternoons. Let’s talk! About: I’ve taken care of my aunts dog since I was 14 year olds, I would walk, play, and feed him after school. It was always my favorite part of the day since I love dogs. I am currently working part time in the morning. I will be available after 2 pm. To walk, feed, play and give your pup lots of company!
