“Our fur babies had a wonderful time playing with Sabrina's dogs while we went to our Son's wedding, she provided us with photos and videos of them playing and shaving a ball. They were happy to see us, but honestly reluctant to go. Skye wanted to stay with her new friends at the farm. We will definitely use Sabrina again and highly recommend her'. Thank you so much 😊”

“Denise and her girls were fantastic with my pup Archie. She kept me updated everyday with pictures and videos! She even made homemade treats with her girls for Archie. He got to take a bag home. So happy with Denise, I will definitely be leaving Archie with her again.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely wonderful experience! Gina treated Molly like her own and kept me updated with so many cute pictures and messages. It was such a relief knowing Molly was in great hands. I’ll 100% be booking again!”

“Thanks to Linda M. I was able to have my medical procedure as I had scheduled. It was last minute notice for Linda but she was gracious to do doggie care for me. I recouped much quicker than I had thought. I was able to get Nico by Thurs early evening. So miss my little boy ! Second night will be a tip for Linda. No refund needed. She was a GREAT help in my time of need. God Bless You, Linda. Thank you Rover.”

“Sylvia took great care of our two dogs! They came home happy as ever. She sent pictures, which we love to see. Our dogs are usually timid, but they warmed up to Sylvia right away! We will definitely rebook when we need to in the future.”

About: I’ve raised puppies, kittens, baby birds, chickens and various other animals, I’ve also had experience working on a dog farm and groomed various types of breeds. I’m available for part-time work and am flexible when it comes to scheduling. I am open to working Monday-Sun as long as it’s planned at least a week in advance. I have a fenced large yard with two separate deck areas, I am open to bringing the pets over and housing them or going to a clients house and pet sitting, walking or even bathing if needed in a comfortable and familiar place for the pet.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats of various breeds my whole life. My family and neighbors have relied on me to walk as well as feed and water their pets. I have a dog (Duke) and cat (Domino) of my own and am overall well experienced. I have plenty of time to take care of and hangout with your dog(s) and or cat(s)! My availability on the calendar is always updated! I love animals and can’t wait to meet yours! I have a dog who I love more than anything. I make sure he is well exercised, loved, cared for, and kept well groomed and I will make sure to do the same for yours!
“Stella and her family took great care of my puppy during his extended stay. He became very close with her family, made friends with her dogs, and took many leisurely walks in her backyard. He had a great time and seems like he even became more easygoing and outgoing after we came home. I would highly recommend her!!”

“FINALLY! What can I say? Sherryl is just the best, she takes care of our Bailey as if she was her own dog. I’m always nervous leaving Bailey because she does require lots of snuggles and love and not everyone is going to give your pup that type of attention but Sherryl did and I’m so grateful for that. Everyday we were on vacation Sherryl made sure to send pictures, video and a cute message about Baileys day. I highly recommend Sherryl for dog sitting, you will have peace of mind and best of all your pup will be well taken care of!”

“Emily, Kai and her son are amazing. This was Rusty's second stay, the first being a one night stay. This second stay was for 7 nights. We picked him up yesterday, and he's been moping around all day. Probably tired from all the fun, but possibly missing what he thought was his new home! Emily's dog Kai is a great "ambassador" for new friends. Rusty and Kai bonded immediately and had a great time playing. Emily kept us updated with pictures and texts, it was nice knowing we had nothing to worry about as he was in great care. We (including Rusty) look forward to having Emily take care of Rusty the next time we leave town.”

“Gabby was a great sitter for my dog. I was very comfortable the whole time I was on vacation. She provided updates with photos and it was great to know that her dog is friendly and got along well with mine. Thank you!”

“I was planning on taking Lily (4y old labradoodle) into Yosemite on my driving trip, then decided at the last minute to board her. She’s never been boarded before so I was concerned - but connected with Angie through Rover. Angie is clearly a caring dog lover, and I felt very comfortable in leaving Lily there for three nights. All went well. Lily had the run of Angie’s house, slept on a couch, and Angie kept me updated with photos. I have no hesitation in recommending Angie.”

“First and foremost Angelica was great. This was my first time having her watch my baby. She’s sent me daily updates with cute pictures attached. She took my baby to new places and tried new things with her. Thank you again ?”

“Rachele was fantastic! My dog was very comfortable with her and came home tired after hiking and running with Rachele. I will use Rachele any time I have to leave my pup. She is a home away from home for her!”

“Charlene was amazing! She kept in contact with me daily, administered my older kitties meds, checked in with me to make sure I’d be home as expected and embraced one of the cats snuggling and sleeping with her. A true joy and highly recommend!”
“We recently moved to the area and were in need of someone to care for our senior cat. We found Linda and we are so glad we did! She is kind and professional and she takes her job seriously. She took great care of our kitty and even sent us pictures of a kitty that hangs around our property. We are happy knowing we have Linda for any cat care needs in the future.”

About: I love cats! They have such fun personalities and love to take naps 🥹 I’ve taking care of neighbors cats when I was younger, have helped Momma cats give birth, taken care of kittens and older cats are my favorite to give them the same love they deserve ❤️
“Karen was wonderful with our girls. One of them usually hides when new people are in the home, but with Karen she quickly became comfortable! We are very thankful for Karen and knew our girls were in excellent hands while we were gone.”

“Not enough words to express how great Trevor is with our pets!!! Our kitty Joy positively loves Trevor! We have an older cat that does come out to say hi to him. Trevor plays with the “girls” a lot. He has such an animal spirit and our girls are so calm when we come home. For 3 days our Joy kitty kept waiting at the window for him to come back!! Trevor takes pictures at “play time” and sends them on to us!!! Very helpful:-) Joy escaped once when Trevor was here. Now, I’m the ONLY ONE she’ll come to and he found her and let her lead him home!! Joy won’t even do that for my husband! If you want peace of mind when you leave for a trip Trevor is the right person. So conscientious and so aware of your animal and its needs. He will be our forever “cat man”. So much appreciation for him.”
“She’s great . She was available to answer texts and was in communication w me . She cleaned up after herself and it felt nice not to come home to any mess . Flexible and sweet and curteous”

“Shileen is excellent. It was quite obvious that our German Shepherd got attached to her quickly. Since she has two dogs of her own, she related to Gabby in no time at all. She played catch with her, walked around the properly with her, and updated us with photos daily. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog under her care. I will be requesting her dog sitting services again.”

About: I have always had the responsibility of caring for my own animals, but I love getting to help other people care for their pets. I love meeting new animals and have lots of experience in this area. I have been walking dogs around my neighborhood since I was about 10 years old. I loved this experience which is why I have decided to dedicate myself to this line of work so I can always be available to help an animal in need. Currently I work an evening shift at a restaurant 4 nights a week so I have the day open before 5 pm Friday through Monday and Tuesday Wednesday Thursday I am completely available. My schedule also will be opening up more soon. I have a very large area for dogs to run around and two very friendly dogs of my own. I always start by making sure the space is free of any hazards, like toxic plants or loose wires and that they have a cozy spot just for them. Building trust is key, so I take things slow, using positive reinforcement like treats and praise to create a bond. Whether it's playtime or just chilling, I'm all about keeping their routine consistent to minimize stress.
“Sabrina did a great job caring for my cats! My timid cat that hides from everyone spent time with her so that says a lot about how great she is with animals. Definitely recommend her services”

“Very impressed how Linda treated Oscar my Maltese with full attention that made my husband and I feel good about leaving Oscar. Now we don’t need to worry the next time we go for a long vacation. We finally found someone we fully trust and take care of our baby like family. My dog also learned how to ring the bell when he needs to go out. Linda doesn’t only took care of our Oscar but also trained him something he can do that we were not aware about . Kudos to Linda.”

“Excellent! Tallulah was out like a light for the rest of the evening. Sabrina was very caring and kept me posted all day. Her visits will definitely be a regular thing. ❤️”

About: Hi, I grew up around several different animals of all sizes from rodents/reptiles to livestock/dogs. I have always had at least one dog in my life at all times. The more the merrier. I love all animals big and small. I worked at a kennel where I learned about boarding and training dogs for about a year and I have pet sat for about 15 years in grand total. I currently work at a pet store in Sutter Creek. I love being around dogs and training or even just hanging out and playing. I am a outdoorsy person. I have experience with livestock animals also. Horses, cattle, chickens, Lhamas, mini animals, donkeys. I have references also if you would like them. Our home is completely fenced and sits on 3 acres. We have two friendly german shepherds. I work part time so some days I am gone at work. But our 17 year old daughter is always home. We also go to church Sunday morning so we would be gone for a couple hours but otherwise we are always home. I care for pets in my home as I would my own. I have 3 German Shepherds. 10 months to 7 years old. As for in home pet sitting I would follow whatever routine you have set for your fur babies already so it would be easier on them.
About: Between growing up with cats and dogs, a parrot, horses, rabbits, and a tortoise, working with dogs in 4-H, showing my dog at the fair in the highest level of obedience, loving and caring for puppies, senior, blind, and deaf dogs, pet sitting for my neighbors and community members growing up, and working with clients through Rover doing drop in visits for walks, play time, feeds, and overnight house sits as well, I've become a well rounded animal caretaker and lover. Back at home after 9 months of traveling Asia, I am currently a free bird when it comes to scheduling, so please reach out with any requests for assistance meeting your pet care needs. With much TLC, tender loving care is how I care for pets. Additionally, I love for animals to be outside and so do I. My old dog and I used to go on so many hikes and swim in all of the creeks, having so much fun playing in the mountains. Despite enjoying dogs free of leashes, when I am walking dogs, I like to walk them on-leash as risk management to prevent unpredictable bad situations from arising.
“Emily watched my dog Prince while my family and I went to the lake at Twain Harte. She was amazing! The original time I had proposed didn't work, but she was very accommodating for a later drop off time. Thanks to her my family and I were able to go to the lake (where there are no dog allowed), and I had peace of mind the whole time. Thank you, Emily!”
About: I have always been in love with animals, and so from a young age I have always been the one to help a person babysit there fur babies if needed, and what better way to spend time making money, taking care of different amazing animals. It brings me pure joy!:) I am pretty flexible and could do it any day of the week, but I prefer not to do over nights unless you are gone for long periods of time. I always make sure that other peoples pets are comfortable with me, and have everything that they need, and more. One on one time with the animals are also important to me as the bond clicks faster. I will always make sure everyone’s animals are 100% being taken of with only the best care! And loved!!!!

“Alexis was so sweet with Garth and quick to respond to my request and messages. I appreciated her flexibility. Her property is perfect for any dog with a lot of space for fun! Thank you.”

About: Hi, I’m Maddy! Throughout my life I have had dogs, cats, goats, chickens, and bunnies. At 12 years old, I personally trained my Labrador retriever to work as a therapy dog. We visited schools in our area, and children with reading disabilities had the opportunity to read to her without feeling the pressure of an average classroom setting. I gained my true love for dogs through Lila. I sadly had to put her down about 6 years ago, and have moved to the city of Oakdale. I saw what amazing companions they can be, and how they deserve the very best. My husband is a local firefighter and gone a lot, so I have the flexibility and time to care for your pets as if they were my own. I also have experience as a veterinary technician, and feel fully comfortable dealing with medications or any type of medical disability. Thank you for your time and consideration! I am also a stay at home mom, so my goal is to create a lifestyle where I am able to be home with my son and have a flexible work schedule. At this time I am available 7 days a week from 6:30am-9pm. Same day bookings are available, but advanced notice is appreciated. I have two dogs at home, Sam and Enzo. Sam is a chocolate Labrador and Enzo is a mixbreed that my husband adopted a few years ago. These boys are our life. They have and will always be treated as family. I truly have a passion for animals, and you can expect the same for any animal I care for.
“Our dog loved Kinny! Right off the bat he took a liking to her, and was excited to see her on his second visit. ? She was understanding and as flexible as she could be when our pick up and drop off times ended up being quite a bit later than we had anticipated. We would definitely turn to Kinny again and recommend her.”

About: I have been owned by cats and dogs in the past. I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). Do they do well with new people? I prefer not to sit pit bull terriers, but mixed breeds I don't have a problem with. About: I grew up around dogs when I was younger. About 9 years ago, my kids and I started taking care of friends, and family members, dogs when they go out of town...feeding, walking, letting outside, overnights, giving medicine, etc. We started watching dogs through Rover so my children would gain experience with other puppies and dogs. My kids have done so well caring for others' dogs that I decided they were ready to have a puppy of their own. We welcomed Snowball into our family on 12-18-2021. Snowball has all his shots (NOT neutered) and is ready to make new friends. He has gotten along with all the dogs we've watched on Rover and when meeting other dogs while on walks. My children and I would love to care for your puppy/dog and treat them with love and kindness during their stay with us. We're also available for drop-in visits at your home. Overnights: Friday evenings and Saturdays all day/night. Pick-ups on Sundays are ok. No overnights during the week, unless specified on our calendar. Drop-ins and walks: please message me for availability. Also available certain holidays. Looking forward to caring for your pup. These are a few things about safety in our home while caring for your pup: - We have a fenced in back yard to keep your pup safe while outside. - I can assure you that we will never feed human food to any pup. - We do not allow pups to sleep in the bed with us. Please bring a play-pen or crate for your fur baby to sleep in at night for his/her safety. - We are willing to accommodate requests such as "please don't let my pup on the couch." Just ask and we'll do our best to meet all your pet care needs.
About: I was raised on a ranch with all kinds of pets. I can't recall life without dogs we are so fortunate to have them in our lives they are unconditional in the love and affection they give . I was in dog rescue for 21 years as a foster. I had 7 dogs all were what was considered not able to be put in a home do to behavior issues the only option for these dogs was to be euthanized so I kept the rejects and had to stop rescue as to the inn was full and I still dog sat for the dogs that had been at my home until a new home was found . I have extensive experience with all types of dogs . I have a cat who pretends dogs do not exist so she just stays away, my cat was a ferel rescue cat and is now a fat and sassy house cat . I have a large home so have part of it sectioned off where her litter box and food are to keep dogs out of both . If I house sit I have experience with farm animals for feeding. I garden so watering is in my range. I'm home 80% of the time so I'm available. I may run a errand but that's about it . If weather permits and you have a road dog car rides with me are perfect. I spend a lot of my time cooking and blogging I cook for seniors in my community. If I'm gardening outside the dogs are welcome to be with me. I have a double lot so plenty of play room . Half of it is fenced for plenty of play room . I have a crate if needed . Your dog will have free roaming access in my home and allowed on the furniture . If I'm sitting your pet in your home it's your home and your rules that I follow . I have passed my Background check here on Rover to take care of your fur babies. I have passed my 2nd Government Background check to take care of children. I have passed my 3rd Goverment Background check to take care of elders . The point is I want you to be assured your fur babies are safe with me .
About: As an animal lover and caretaker over the past 40 years, I have experience raising dogs through all ages of life from puppies to seniors & deaf dogs, as well as cats, and farm animals. This love for animals began even before I was a high school 4-H and FFA student working with large farm animals, growing up with cats and dogs. As a pet-sitter for others, I have cared for many kinds of animals in addition to cats and dogs. I was the Dog Leader for the Murphys 4-H for 7 years and assisted the kids in training their dogs to show at the fair. While I have experience training animals, I also love to offer them tender loving care, spending quality time with them, and being their friend. It is important to me that dogs and humans both enjoy play and joy in their days, so I am happy to offer this for your pets when you cannot be there. I currently have a very open schedule, so I am most available to meet your pet care needs. Reach out to schedule a meet and greet at your convenience. When caring for pets as a sitter, I respect both your space and your pets. While I am walking others' dogs, I feel best with on-leash walks, and I will clean up after them. I also always provide animals with fresh clean water during my visits and routine caretaking. I like to keep the home and pets clean, safe, and comfortable while you are away.

“Chelsea is great! She responds quickly, shows up on time, is flexible, and has worked with me to address my dog’s needs. My dog takes a while to warm up to people, but she felt comfortable with Chelsea almost immediately and I did as well. If you are in the Jackson area I highly recommend Chelsea as a dog walker.”

“As reluctant as I was to allow a stranger to come into my home, I was that much more hesitant to allow a stranger to walk my three dogs, in the end I knew I had no other choice but to hire someone due to my work schedule. While searching I came across Jef’s profile and I decided to go with him in booking dog walking for my three dogs. Jef even came to meet my dogs before he was to begin walking them the following day. From the initial message to the first time meeting, Jef maintained great communication and updated me each day after their walks. Jef definitely has something about him that made my dogs very comfortable around him. He quickly gained their trust and vice versa. Jef is also very persistent and knowledgeable in training dogs and helping to improve any bad leash habits. I will definitely be booking Jef for any future needs and I would definitely recommend him to anyone with pets.”

I have occasionally provided respite to animal rescue homes with up to 15 animals when the proprietors are out of state on vacation. In addition, I scored a proficient level on "Indeed's" veterinarian technician assessment in the areas of knowledge of common medications, vaccines in medical tests as well as skill in addressing animals needs during treatment. I am also a retired certified nurse aide with first responder medical training, a safe driver with car insurance, and a trusted provider with a clean Federal back ground clearance as a Notary Public for the state of California. I serve all of Amador County. Although I would consider other counties on a case by case basis. I am a retired Health Care Provider with many years of Special Needs Pet Sitting experience and prefer to stay busy on my 3 acres of fenced in property. My pets and the pets that I host enjoy joining me on morning and afternoon walks on trails and playing fetch. I keep a close eye on them when we are outside. Then we all snuggle up on the couch and dog beds after meals while we watch a fun movie together.

I have experience in taking care of cats, dogs and elders! I’m a full time college student, as well as working for Rover part time. I will have lots of time to love and care for your pets! I am available on weekends for boarding and weekdays after 5pm. I have cared for my giant dog for the past 7 years. About: I am a dog owner of 2 German shepherds and previously I had 2 black labs. I have trained them all to be off leash walkers and very well mannered in public areas. My love for animals is dramatic and I aspire to give the affection to more animals than I can contain in my own home. I am a stay at home mom so I am home all day every day. Our weekend are typically free outside of an arcade visit on some Saturdays. I am vigilant in my efforts to keep dogs safety and happiness my top priority. My dogs have given me so much in my life that I only want every dog to have the best life they can live.

“Stella and her family took great care of my puppy during his extended stay. He became very close with her family, made friends with her dogs, and took many leisurely walks in her backyard. He had a great time and seems like he even became more easygoing and outgoing after we came home. I would highly recommend her!!”

“Michele was amazing with Lira. We were sent amazing pictures of Lira being spoiled and loved on. The communication between us was spot on and everything was amazing. I definitely recommend Michele... She's amazing!”

“Danielle was great! We met up at a dog park to let our dogs meet before our vacation. And during our week long vacation she sent multiple pictures a day, which the kids absolutely loved! They loved seeing him have a good time with new friends. Danielle is very accommodating and flexible with pick up and drop off times. We are definitely saving her number for the next time we can’t bring him along with us.”

“Alexis was kind from the moment of meeting her. She was flexible and ask many questions about needs to take care of our babies. Thank you Alexis for taking good care of our babies!”

“Chevy was so spoiled!! Kinny took him hiking 7 miles with a lot of swim time in the lake! He’s very happy & tired, which is perfect since we spent the day hiking & are completely exhausted too!! Super quick to respond & very accommodating allowing us to drop him off early! Highly recommend!! Thank you Kinny!!!”
