About: We absolutely love animals, and want to share our home and fenced yard with your pooch. We understand what it’s like to leave your dog with someone else while you’re away; we will treat your dog like a member of our family. I (Diana) grew up on a farm with lots of different animals and dogs, and understand how each one has their own fantastic personality. Just let me know what they need, and I can do it. We’ve had puppies, older dogs, big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between! My tween/teen kids are kind and fun with animals, and will provide even more love and attention for your dog while they stay with us. Thank you for trusting us with your favorite furry buddy! We primarily work from home so we can spend a lot of quality time with your dog. We have a Newfoundland-poodle mix of our own, so our daily routine is already focused on dog care (feeding, walking, letting outside, etc). Just let me know what your dog needs! We also have goats, chickens, outdoor cats, and a couple of feral peacocks that hang around the property. It’s a pet paradise. 😊 We have a large fenced yard and a big goofball named Hoagie to keep your doggy company. We will love and care for your dog as if he/she was our own, because that’s what we would expect for Hoagie while we’re away. We have extra pet beds, food and water dishes, etc. Our yard is perfect for a game of fetch, a sunbathing session, playtime with Hoagie, or just a great sniff. We’re happy to have your dog sleep in one of our bedrooms, take them for walks, and give them all the love.

About: I grew up on a large family farm with all kinds of animals. We recently had two senior Shih Tzu's that each had their own special needs. About: As a cattle dog owner, I'd like to think I have a special set of skills for crazy babies. I have always had rescues and fosters in my home. I have been fortunate to work with foster pets from the Caribbean and Mexico as well, each of these often came with health issues. I have experience with pregnant dogs and cats as well! If you are interested in having your pet stay over, know I have two very friendly dogs. They have both experienced having guests and foster pets in the house as well. Tolerant and obedient. I have multiple rooms and baby gates for separation and quiet time. In general, I am a very active and outdoorsy person! So i am happy to take the pets out to the trails or the lake! I live on 10 quiet acres with a fenced yard. There is ample space to play outside or be kept safe and warm inside. I am fortunate to work from home. I have the ability to provide care all day and night for your pet! I walk each morning and evening and have the option to take your pet out for a walk or a play on the property in both fenced and unfenced areas. I have an older dog who is very arthritic so I am used to caring for the elderly animals as well. Pets in my home have their own room if needed. I have plenty of space for crates. I have a large gated deck and live on 10 acres on a quiet road. My own pets walk daily with me along my road which works well for easy elder dog walks as it is shady even in the summer. It also can provide great training ground as there is little traffic. For the high energy babies, we can play fetch or take to the trails nearby. I have always had rescue pitties so I am comfortable with big cuddly babies. I adopted a cattle dog pup who had clinical anxiety which has taught me how to care for highly intelligent, high energy dogs as well. Treats, love, and confidence makes for a happy dog!

But I appreciate the fact that Amanda gave us a full and honest report (which is helpful for us to gauge the areas he still needs significant training) and was very kind about the negatives. The most important thing, though, was that he settled down in the car almost immediately. Our dog is a very nervous dog, so if he has had a rough time at a dog sitter, we know right away because he whines and whimpers all the way home. After leaving Amanda‘s house, he winded for about 60 seconds and then went to sleep. Hallelujah! Thank you, Amanda, for the top quality care you have given to our very low quality puppy. I am especially grateful that Amanda was willing to take the puppy at the last minute, because my husband had a hospital procedure and I had completely forgotten about making arrangements for the dog. About: Served as a volunteer and foster parent for many rescued animals in Bali during the pandemic. My experience with animals is vast. Ive grown up with many different kinds of pets. Cats. Dogs. Birds. Reptiles. Rodents. Chickens. ducks. Donkeys. Horses. Pigs. Goats. You name it. I love all animals. I was raised in the foothills in the redwood forest. I’m a very down to earth and healthy lifestyle human who just loves fur babies of all types. I’m attentive and loving and playful with animals. I really need it as much as they do. I work early in the mornings off around 9am and then have most of the day to myself. It’s nice to have an excuse to take a dog on a walk or to lounge around with some kitty cuddles. Having animals in my home makes it feel more like a home. In my own home I will be in close proximity at all times and I will be home the entire time so I can sense when potty breaks or walks are needed. I really enjoy taking walks myself so it’s a perfect fit to have dogs over. Cats are similar with the exception of walks unless you want to leash train them or already have. I love to keep an eye on them so they don’t hurt themselves and I give lots of play time.

My experience includes in-home pet sitting and drop-in visits for feedings, potty breaks, walks, and plenty of attention and playtime to keep pets happy and comfortable. I work from home full time, so I’m able to have your pets hang out with me, or drop in for feedings, potty breaks, walks and attention/play time to keep your fur babies happy while you’re gone. I have a double fenced yard for potty breaks, and have two dogs (cocker spaniel & small mixed Havanese/Shitsu - both female) and a yellow tabby to keep your fur baby company. If your doggie doesn’t like/do well with cats, we have plenty of space to keep them separated- just let me know in advance. Living in the mountains, we rarely let our dogs out unattended and would extend the same precaution to your animals (unless they prefer being outside). I’m also able to take them for walks to keep them happy & exercised while you’re gone.

I have passed numerous background checks as an elementary school substitute teacher. So I have full availability overnight, on weekends, and for extended periods between Nevada County and Placer County. I usually stay a week or more with fur babies. You can relax knowing I am keeping the utmost care and safety of your animals and home. References on request. I want to clarify during our visit if you need care at the 2-hour, 4-hour, or 6-hour interval beyond the overnight stay of 7 pm to 7 am. Communication is key! I will send daily pictures or updates. For best prevention, talking about the details with the owner and ground rules produces the best results. Topics will include where the pet feels most comfortable such a calm spaces or crating procedures. I make sure to go over emergency contacts and preferred clinics. My longest pet sitting job was 3.5 weeks while the owners were in Italy. I have many referrals. I’ve taken care of miniature horses, Friesian horses, and a pig. About: Been a proud owner of goats, cats, chickens, reptiles and dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with and cared for livestock and house pets. I am currently working full time as a CNA, my schedule is kinda wacky. I work PM shifts from 2:30pm-10:30pm, on a four on and two off rotation. In my own home I have reptiles and three cats and one older dog around. If your pet is staying with me or I’m keeping them company in your own home, I always am engaging with the pet. About: I have had dogs and cats all my life and have been cat sitting for a friend for the passed 3 years. I can handle giving medication and large dogs. I'm a Preschool Teacher during the day looking to help where I can. 😊 I work Monday through Friday, however I'm off fairly early at 3:30pm everyday so afternoons, evenings, and weekends are free. I have no pets anymore so they will have all the attention! There is a lovely creek that runs through my complex for walks and plenty of toys and energy! And for the older furr babies they are more than welcome on the furniture for cuddles.
