About: I taken care of and trained my own dog, a sweet Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She has passed and now I want to continue spending time with pets. I am currently working full time but am available in the evenings and weekends. On the weekends I am available all day to assist with pet care. I can follow any instructions to keep your pet safe in your home. I take precautions and try to read body language if the pet does not feel secure.

About: I have had around thirteen years of cat care experience, having owned four cats, a tarantula, and a snake throughout my entire life, and currently volunteer at an animal shelter. I have had a lot of opportunities to learn how to take care of cats and their body languages, so I am very experienced with knowing when to back off or if a cat wants love or pets; I also know what to look out for to prevent cat fights from happening or how to break one up. Although most of my experience is in cats, I am always open to learning new things or how to take care of dogs, and I am always willing to walk your dog or house sit for them because I am someone who loves animals and will never shy away from a chance to meet them! I am still a student right now, so I am only free in the afternoons and evenings during the weekdays, but I am totally free on weekends (minus 2-5 PM on Saturdays where I volunteer). About: I have over 10 years of experience with dog sitting, helping family and friends’ dogs. I have two dogs myself, a pug and a terrier mixed. They are both well behaved and trained, they love having friends over. I do work on the weekdays, but weekends are usually free with the dogs and kids at home. We love to take them for a long walk around the neighborhood. I have a fenced in backyard and front yard, my dogs love it. It will be great for many more friends to join during the weekends.

I've even raised a doodle...Honestly, I feel like I can do anything after that! My daily schedule is flexible, and I can adjust it as needed. “How very fortunate we are (Dustin dog and me), and what a huge relief it has been to have connected with Nancy and her sweet Roxy. When our Weimaraner got ill and died suddenly I needed to switch from having our pet sitter staying at our house to the sitter's house so Dustin wouldn't be alone several hours each day. He also needs canine friends but is often reactive (growl, bark, snap if he is scared enough) and needs exposure, time and patience when meeting a new dog. He is not comfortable being handled (he is 14 pounds) by new people. Nancy and Roxy have been wonderful in keeping him in his comfort zone and gaining his trust. After several successful short daycare sessions we will start short boarding stays before our out of town trip. Needless to say I give Nancy the highest recommendation.”

About: There has never been a time in my life that I wasn’t taking care of dogs (and even a few wolves growing up)! My chihuahua-minpin mix Lo was an unplanned rescue (she was thrown out of a moving car in front of me) when she was about 6 weeks old. I took her on walks twice a day, to the dog park right next to the neighborhood but at a specific time. As she aged, of course I had to decrease walks or distance. We gave her medication through peanut butter. Last dog I dog sat, she had a leg injury, so I had to make sure she didn’t jump off the couch or do anything to stress her injuries. I always accommodate to what the owner wants for their pets and I loveee playing with the dogs. A previous roommate in San Diego had a malanois mix and I’d take her on mini hikes and spend a lot of time outside playing. Just making sure the pets are healthy, happy, and living their life to the fullest.

I have a lot experience caring for friends and family dogs, such as Labradors, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Chihuahuas, Chow-chows, Bichons, Mastiffs, and other mixes. Now that I currently have free time, I would love to care for yours. I have lived with roommates with dogs from Bulldogs, Pitt-bulls, Boxers to Pomeranians. I worked and lived many years on a farm where taking care of three Rottweiler farm dogs at the same time was part of the job description. It did not seem like work at all, because farm life with dogs is absolute bliss. I have an interest in learning about the holistic approach when caring for my dog. I want her to have the most optimal life in the most natural way. I admire Juliette De Baïracli Levy a lot and am currently learning about her work with animals. My approach is friendly yet stern enough for the big furry friends. I love big dogs as I have had lifelong friendships/experience with many Rottweilers and an entire littler of Labradors who are now Seniors. When I was caring for the dogs on the farm, two Rottweilers came as puppies while I was caring for another who was middle to eventually Senior. I would give the Senior medicine. And eventually one of the puppies grew up and got sick and needed medicine too. I believe the Rottweiler is my spirit animal for they always magically show up in my life. <3 My current dog is a big German Shepherd Cattle dog mix, sweetie girl. She is two years old and acts like a big puppy. She is curious with high energy. She is very cute and smart so she tries to test limits, but overall thrives to be a good girl. It makes me proud when I get positive feedback from those that meet her. I am currently working part time as well as studying which allows me to very easily fit in pet care every day in my routine. I am currently unable to share my home for boarding care. I’d be happy to care for them if they need someone present for overnight stays.

Since I have pets of my own, caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life, and I enjoy making sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and love they need while their owners are away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My two Labradoodles are indoor dogs, but they have access to a large, securely fenced yard where I let them out throughout the day to run, play, and get plenty of exercise. I don’t have a doggie door because my two cats are indoor-only, so all outdoor time is supervised. My dogs are very friendly and love meeting new dog friends, and my cats are comfortable around dogs, so I only board pets that are friendly with both dogs and cats. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and lots of love and attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. At night, my pets have their own comfortable sleeping routines. My older Labradoodle sleeps with my parents, and my younger Labradoodle sleeps with me. Any dog boarding in my home is welcome to sleep in my room if that helps them feel more comfortable, or I’m happy to follow whatever routine works best for them and their owner, such as sleeping in a crate or their own designated sleeping space.

She was very understanding and gladly gave Reggie his antibiotic medication to make sure there was no interruption in the treatment for a paw wound he was healing from.
