EVERYTHING was just perfect. They treated my puppy like their own dog. Updated me with pictures all the time. About: I can’t imagine living a life without being a dog mom. I’ve had dogs since my childhood and practically my entire adult life. I’ve had heartbreak from losing them because they were so loved. I’m retired and home mostly except for when I travel. I’m available to walk dogs and to play with them in fenced yard. I have a soft spot for all animals. My dog Holly is mostly an inside dog but always has access to fenced backyard through doggie door. The same would apply for any dogs I care for.

About: I have taken care of many animals since I was around 12 years old. For years, people within my community have come to me to take care of, or spend time with their sweet (and sometimes not so sweet) pets while they were away, and because I am so used to caring for children, I have a special place in my heart for pets of all kinds. I am very patient and nurturing and have many pets of my own back home in GA where I grew up, but because I am away from my own fur babies, I am hoping to have the opportunity to spend time with yours, just as if they were mine. :) My typical full-time job is within the film industry, which is shut down for the time being due to a writer’s strike that has forced thousands out of work for an unknown amount of time. With that being said, I’m spending a lot of time at home and have a completely open schedule for pet care! The writer’s strike likely will go on for months, so I am fully available now for full-time pet care and will still be available part time once the film industry is back up and running! I have always felt comfortable having pets on my furniture as well as in my bed, as I grew up with three “lap dogs” who crave constant attention and cuddles. I understand that not all pets prefer to be touched or held, but I like to give pet owners that option. :) I am a pretty active young adult, so I love dogs that like to go on hikes or walks around our nice, friendly neighborhood. About: I am currently a dog bather, used to be a dog trainer and have experience with multiple dog breeds and temperaments, I know how to approach timid dogs as well as puppies or older dogs. I am currently a dog trainer so I know how to care for dogs and their individual needs. My current dog has a lot of different medical needs as well. Depending on what the animal needs are, I make a specific care plan for them and follow it exactly. If it works, why change it? We always want what’s best for pets.

“If I could leave Hugh & Mary 10 stars I would! This was my first time using Rover and first time leaving my 1 1/2 year old Toy Australian Shepard with people other than my family. The experience with Hugh & Mary surpassed my imagination. Right off the bat they are warm and welcoming. Just after 5 min of making a reservation I received call from Mary. EVERYTHING was just perfect. They treated my puppy like their own dog. Updated me with pictures all the time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and they have definitely set the bar high for future sitters. And the cherry on top, they put a surprise gift in my puppy’s bag and found it when I got home. So sweet!!!! I recommend 100%”
About: I can’t imagine living a life without being a dog mom. I’ve had dogs since my childhood and practically my entire adult life. I’ve had heartbreak from losing them because they were so loved. I’m retired and home mostly except for when I travel. I’m available to walk dogs and to play with them in fenced yard. I have a soft spot for all animals. My dog Holly is mostly an inside dog but always has access to fenced backyard through doggie door. The same would apply for any dogs I care for.
