“The only difficult part of writing this review is finding enough good things to say about Elena. Every interaction, from my first communication to picking up Puck after his stay, conveyed both a love of animals and professionalism. We met first in a local park for a meet and greet, where Elena and I chatted and her daughter played with Puck. I felt really comfortable with Elena’s easy manner and the questions she asked to ensure that Puck would be happy with them. I left in confidence when I dropped Puck off, and the photos she sent made it clear that Puck was happy and well cared for. Her daughter makes for a wonderful added bonus; Elena told me when I picked him up that her daughter made a fort for them, and it was clear in the pics that Puck received lots of play time with his favorite toys. When I picked up Puck after his stay, he was of course happy to see me, but not overcome with nervousness or anxiety. I could see that he felt safe and loved in Elena’s home. About: I have worked with animals almost my entire lifetime, starting at age 10 with horses. I'm the kind of person who took in, and rescued any animal who needed it (mice/ rats/ fox cubs/ parrots/ ducks - you name it!). Growing up in an isolated farming community in rural England was conducive to this. By my early teens I moved on to raise money for animal rescue charity’s such as the WWF and RSPCA. I am certified in Pet first aid, and whilst not busy with running my dog walking business, I'm pursuing dog training certification, and aspire to study Animal Behavior MSC. I have been in the dog care business in California since 2009, I recently made Lake Hughes my home and am opening my schedule to the local community for dog boarding. Your dogs will join my pack! Between myself and several of my trusted live-in ranch workers (also experienced in pet care) we provide 24hour supervision in a in-home setting! Your dog will stay inside of my home, we can section off separate areas depending on how well your dog is adjusting to our pack. If your dog prefers to keep to himself he might score his own private bedroom! If he/she prefers a crate, that is ok too! We are experienced in knowing how to adjust for each personality type. We have a fenced in yard outside, and if you are comfortable with it, your dog is welcome to roam our 20-acre property (with supervision of course) during bathroom and exercise breaks. They may even get lucky and meet one of friendly ranch livestock (with supervision of course) that are all accustomed to dogs!

About: I have been surrounded by animals since I was little. I love animals probably more then people at times and I will love your fur babies as if they were my own and take great care of them! I am wide open with availability during the day in case your pets need someone with them for most of the day or if they are fine being alone for certain amount of time. Currently not working full time . I live in an apartment so I won’t be offering to take in any pets as theirs a limit of how many can be staying here. At the moment.

About: I have grown up with dogs. The past 10+ years I have cared for other peoples dogs. I understand how uneasy people feel about leaving their pooch in a Kennel, simply because their dog is their world and they would rather have their dog have home comforts whilst you are apart. Married but we have no children so am able to offer a calm environment for those dogs that are mature or nervous of bangs and loud noises. Likewise I have the time and energy for those dogs that need a little more play time. I have a neutered schnoodle that is mature enough to chill but also enjoys a play. I work part time from home. So I am able to offer your pooch a lot of time and love, be it walks or just company. I have an enclosed, secure garden, mainly walled with gated access which is locked. It is completely private. It is not a large garden, but it certainly offers a dog enough space to stretch their legs, chase a ball or just chill on the patio.

“The only difficult part of writing this review is finding enough good things to say about Elena. Every interaction, from my first communication to picking up Puck after his stay, conveyed both a love of animals and professionalism. We met first in a local park for a meet and greet, where Elena and I chatted and her daughter played with Puck. I felt really comfortable with Elena’s easy manner and the questions she asked to ensure that Puck would be happy with them. I left in confidence when I dropped Puck off, and the photos she sent made it clear that Puck was happy and well cared for. Her daughter makes for a wonderful added bonus; Elena told me when I picked him up that her daughter made a fort for them, and it was clear in the pics that Puck received lots of play time with his favorite toys. When I picked up Puck after his stay, he was of course happy to see me, but not overcome with nervousness or anxiety. I could see that he felt safe and loved in Elena’s home. When I arrived home, he slipped right back into normal routines without needing decompression time. Thank you, Elena, for providing Puck with a warm and loving home-away-from-home.”

“Tiffany and her family were perfect for our high energy dog! They have two energetic dogs of their own and our dog, Winston, gets lots of play time with them and lots of balls to fetch from the family! Our dog also LOVES the pool and got to swim in their pool twice over a three night stay, and Tiffany was gracious to bathe him afterwards and even give him a life jacket so he could enjoy it with their kids. We love that Winston is having his own vacation while we’re away, and will continue to use Tiffany for our upcoming stays!”

He sent me pictures throughout the day and was really flexible when I wanted to pick my dog up early. :) He let me know another dog would be there and took the time to introduce Byron properly so they could be besties. I was nervous leaving my old man for the day, but I felt much better knowing he was with Kyle and having a nice time. Will definitely use Kyle again, and recommend him for your pups too.”
“Lauren is great! She is super friendly and was very attentive with our 2 dogs. You can tell she truly enjoys pets and she checked in with us as requested. The dogs were happy (and surprisingly clean) when we came to pick them up. There’s plenty of room for the dogs to run around out back and I feel like Lauren gave them the same amount of love we would. Highly recommend!”
About: I’m a professional dog trainer with a huge amount of love and experience with all dogs, well over 1,000 different dogs trained, walked and cared for. I'll show an abundance of compassion for your dog as if they were my own pet. Having fun, playing, and safety will be high priorities on my list during their stay. Your dog will never feel alone while left in my care, as they will be my priority while boarding with me. I have an extraordinary amount experience boarding and caring for all kinds of dogs being a trainer and a former kennel specialist, and overall dog lover! I currently train dogs so dogs are most of what I think about! I train from my house, and Taylor my schedule to make sure I am home all day with your pups! While training, giving treats, or feeding, I seperate all dogs, to ensure everyone is safe (: Plenty of rubs, hikes or walks catered to the pups ability, and care like they are apart of my family! Plus a ton of chill, relaxing times. I will make sure to send plenty of updates and pictures!
