About: I have fostered kittens and I am really good with their care. I am able to provide them a safe home where they can peacefully grow up and then be sent to their forever home. Some parts of their care include bottle feeding, stimulation to go potty, and keeping their temperature right so that they can maintain their body heat. It is extremely heart warming and rewarding whenever I take in tiny little kittens and they grow up into healthy and playful cats.

I am an avid runner so my furry friend chooses the pace at which we will go about. If your fur baby is a runner, I recommend a body harness rather than a collar. Keeps them safer. If they are walkers than a collar is perfectly fine. For the more agile furry friends, I also ride my montain bike. You have the option of choosing any terrain: Trails, hikes, parks, neighborhood walks you name it. I encourage breaks for water drinking if my furry friend desires. I carry extra poop bags with me so picking up after your fur baby will not be a problem. If your furry friend is a water lover and is permitted to swim, I will also make time for a little swim time to cool off. Overall I am looking forward to more hikes in 2021 and make more furry friends to join me on adventures. I'm currently working part time and have time to play walk doggy sit and give all my attention to your fur baby's ready for our next adventure I have a fenced yard and no dogs in front yard or in house but your baby's will be in a very clean happy loving home for the time you drop off till pick up

“Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. About: I have always had a dog but I can only attest to caring for those I’ve raised. I’ve raised two labs and a huskie pittie. I currently have a young 1 year old male lab who loves a great play session with another doggy friend. I’ve often dog cat overnight and it gives my pets great socialization opportunities. I currently work full time from home from 8am to 5pm. My dog is routinely walked 1 hours a day with several enticing activities through out my work day. On the weekend I like to take him to the park and hiking if there is no playdate scheduled. I have a fenced yard and the most social dog to keep them company. Plenty of toys and treats. About: Have watched dogs my whole life have been a reliable dog sitter for friends and family I have watched many types of dogs and many sizes I mainly sit at home with nothing to do so I can always watch a dog as long as I have no school or anything to do My Home is a very spacious place for pets to roam and play I will make sure they get taken outside every 2-3 hours and have bowls of water ready for them
About: My experience ranges from newborn to senior care. Family has trusted me to care for their dogs and cats while on vacations. I currently am a mama to two 7 month old kittens, after my labrador mix passed away in July. I currently work full-time for the school district, but I am available in the evenings and weekends. I will be available full-time during the summer months of June, July, and half of August. Also available full-time during school breaks such as Spring Break and the 2 weeks of Winter Break. I have a fenced in backyard but I can not currently house any pets in my house. I have two cats and I feel housing a dog would cause issues.

About: I've been raising dogs since I was a teenager. I've literally raised them from birth, I've got experience breeding dogs and have helped them during the birth process. I just recently became a cat owner so I don't have very much experience with them but am learning new things all the time about them. I'm not the grooming type so if you want nails clipped or trimming done I suggest seeking someone else for that. I'm okay with giving them baths but that's about the extent of it. I've walked up to 3 dogs at once so I'm efficient in walking dogs. As shown in my headline I'm a big animal lover, they're my weakness, kryptonite, Achilles heel. I'm more emotional over their deaths than humans. My availability varies due to having a part time job and having animals of my own to care for but I'm capable of juggling all that I make sure my pets always have food & water, I also make sure they go outside to relieve themselves and just to get some exercise

About: I am a teacher with extra time to help with any pet sitting - last minute or planned ahead! I am willing to travel to others homes to feed your pets, take them on walks, give them baths or whatever is needed! About: This job taking care of dogs is by far my one of my favorite one as dogs are therapeutic and a joy to be around I've cared for about 20ish dogs now and some repeat clients since being on here in December of 2024 and don't regret a moment at all and learned alot. I have handled dogs that are aggressive towards other dogs so I know what to do in situations like that. I have also taken care of days old kittens and I understand how to care and provide for young animals. I am self employed and my schooling is online so I have no scheduling conflicts. I am available at any time of any day really. I am able to take care of your pet however you need me to. I have taken care of pets who needed a lot of supervision and pets that needed very little. I love going on walks with them and I will take them to parks or things like that if that’s something you would like! I am currently self employed so I can work around any schedule. When I do house sitting, I usually do my work during the day and take as many breaks as needed to stop by the house and take care of the pets, and then I spend the night time spending more time with them. I have taken care of all different types of pets ranging from low to high maintenance. I have experience with escape artists and I am very aware and take special attention to ensure no one gets out. I also have experience with aggressive pets and I know how to handle myself in difficult situations. I feel like this is especially important for dogs that require walks because I am extra aware of other dogs in the area and I am more attentive to make sure there aren’t any quarrels.
