“Excellent stay. Kena was very communicative and I enjoyed all the updates and pics concerning my dog Lucy. The pup seemed really happy and well cared for. I would definitely book again!”

“Our dogs love Danielle and her family! Our previous sitter was out of town, but Danielle was able to help us even though we booked just a week ahead of time. She even put up with our extra-early drop-off and pick-up times. Her friendliness and love of pets is genuine, and she helped our Leo and Charlie warm up to her dogs Penny and Moe instantly. Leo is not always good with other dogs, but Danielle has a gift for helping the menagerie get along. Danielle's place is truly "Paradise" for dogs! I highly, highly recommend Danielle.”

“Our girls had a wonderful time with Yesenia again! She was very accommodating with our schedule and we were very comfortable knowing she was watching our dogs. We will continue to use her in the future!”

“Holly is amazing. She made us feel at ease from the minute we walked in the door for our meet & greet. She sent us many pictures along with updates to keep us informed while he was with her. He even got to visit their gym - I think he is now a gym-dog!!! Melvin seemed happy and content while in her care. You can tell she just loves animals and is so good with them - we will definitely have Mel stay with her next time we need a sitter. Thanks Holly for loving our Mel like we do!”

About: Hi! We’re Brittany and Chris, and we’ve been dog people our entire lives. We know that leaving your pup with someone else can be a big leap of trust — they’re family, after all! Our goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your dog feels right at home with us. We’ve both grown up with dogs and most recently had the joy of caring for our beloved Border Collie, Charley, through his senior years. We understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and quirks, and we’re happy to follow whatever helps your pup feel comfortable and cared for. Our home is clean, cozy, and very dog-friendly. We’re big fans of couch cuddles, playtime, and having a pup happily hanging out alongside us. If your dog thinks the best place in the house is curled up on the couch or snuggled in bed with their people, they’ll fit right in here! We have a securely fenced backyard for safe outdoor play, but your pup will never be left outside unsupervised. We’re also within walking distance of beautiful Bidwell Park, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks, exploring, and fresh air. I work from home, which means your dog will have lots of company throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long stretches. We’ll give your pup plenty of love, attention, playtime, and, of course, as many cuddles as they’re willing to accept. We’d love to get to know you and your four-legged family member and make their stay with us feel like a home away from home! Brittany works from home and has a very flexible schedule so can spend all day with your dog. We are happy to modify our daily routines to accommodate your dogs's normal walking and feeding schedule so they feel right at home. We can also accommodate last minute bookings. Your pup’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We have a securely fenced yard where your dog can enjoy outdoor time, but we will always supervise them while they’re outside. Inside, they’re welcome to make themselves completely at home — including cuddling up on the couch or sleeping on the bed with us. We only host one family’s dogs at a time, so your pup gets our full attention without having to share our home with unfamiliar dogs. We also do not have children, creating a calm and comfortable environment where your dog can settle in and feel at ease. We’ll follow your pup’s routines, preferences, and house rules as closely as possible so they feel safe, happy, and well cared for throughout their stay.
“Tylyn was fantastic with our 3yo catahoula. She kept me up to date with photos throughout our trip. My dog seemed to have a great time. I believe she bathed him too which was an unexpected welcomed surprise. I would use Tylyn every time and would recommend anyone else to do the same.”

“This was Beau’s first stay with Forest. He took Beau for long walks a few times a day, and he provided daily updates with photos. Forest treated our pup as if he were his own, and his home is well-suited for dogs. We would definitely use Forest again for our future boarding needs. Thank you!”

“She was absolutely amazing with my pup! She followed his routine, gave plenty of playtime and attention, and sent me lots of photos and updates, which I really appreciated. He had a great time playing with her dogs too! I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in such good hands. I would highly recommend her if your looking for such amazing care.”

“Tiffany took great care of our boy and treated him like a part of the family. She was very communicative and sent a ton of pictures, which is great. It allowed us to have our weekend out of town knowing Kona was in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Jessica is conscientious, caring, and an excellent communicator. She observed the dogs playing and optimized their experience. Relaxed but organized and clean environment. Her dog and my dog hit it off right away. Super duper!”

About: I adopted a kitten 16 years ago. When I moved into my first house, He was my best bud and he was a special breed. Maine Coon/Norwegian forest cat. His personality was amazing and smart, and he ran this house. I just lived in it to serve him. Sadly cancer has taken him away from me in October 2025 and it was the hardest goodbye I have ever dealt with in my entire life and it breaks my heart just talking about it. Since then I have adopted a new member of our family named Abel and I see gizmo in this new kitten more than I ever imagined I would. He is adorable, He is nuts, and he definitely has his fair share of craziness, as most kittens do. I’m very experienced with cats. I’ve grown up with cats and dogs and they’re not just pets. They’re not just cats. They are my kids. And any cat that’s in my possession and that is my responsibility at the time would be treated the same way with love and compassion and a lot of company. I guarantee you they will be treated as a member of my family, and I would focus all my efforts to your loved furr babies!
About: I’ve cared for seniors, puppies, post surgeries, mischievous kitties and extra needy pets of all kinds ☺️ years of working with horses, living with my anxious chihuahua mix, and helping to raise the chunky pitties in my life has prepared me for almost every situation. I’ll keep a cool head and stick to your instructions while showering lots of love on your furry family member. I grew up around cats, dogs, horses, and birds! My love for animals knows no bounds, and I’m always the one getting distracted by a cute dog on the sidewalk (or TikTok). I’ve had great experiences booking care for my own dog through Rover, and I understand how hard it can be to find and trust the right person when we have to be away from them! My hope is that we can work together and create the best plan for keeping your furry kids happy and safe. I keep communication open and often so that we are all comfortable and on the same page. I pay attention and meet your pet where they’re at so we can build our own trusting and loving bond. I work remotely from home, so I can be flexible to meet your needs. My partner and I work together to ensure our own dogs are cared for, comfortable, and get lots of sniffing time outside. I’d love to speak with you about the best way to accommodate your schedule. I prefer to meet with you and your pet before scheduling a service to ensure that everyone is comfortable. I like to take the opportunity to ask any clarifying questions and walk through expectations so that there are no gray areas about the best ways to care for your pet and keep them safe.

About: I have experience caring for my family’s cat and understand that every cat has their own personality and routine. I’m comfortable with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, and giving plenty of love and attention while also respecting cats who prefer their space. I’ll follow your instructions closely and keep you updated so you can feel comfortable knowing your kitty is well cared for.
“Tylyn did a great job!!! While on vacation my daughter s visited my home and unfortunately Rascal my indoor only cat got out of the house. Tylyn informed me and explained the steps she had already taken to attempt to catch Rascal, even thinking of things I had not thought of. She visited my house twice a day even though she was only supposed to visit once she made every effort possible to help with the return of Rascal. Tylyn is personable and I feel that she truly loves the pets she cares for. I have used Tylyn in the past and I will definitely use her in the future and recommend her to anyone who is looking for a loving, capable and trustworthy pet sitter.”

About: I’ve dog sat for family friends since the age of 18. Pet boarding, sitting, walking, and caring for them just like my own dogs! I’ve got 2 friendly and small dogs of my own! I work part time while in school, so I’m currently free on weekends, but will have more availability opening up in mid May through the summer months! I care for them just like my own! I have ample beds and toys and the dogs have a secluded space in my living room! I’m also able to crate or separate from my own dogs if needed.

About: While I don’t have cats of my own, I regularly take care of my mom’s cat when she’s out of town. I have helped her find a litter that works well for her, as well as replace harmful treats with ones that “make her fur softer than ever”. I recently met two cats who were polar opposites and I was lucky enough to be greeted by the one who never says hi to strangers :)

About: I don’t have much experience with taking care of cats. Most of my friends do own cats and so always hang out with them. I have volunteered at Fat Kitty City where there are a multitude of cats that I feed.

About: I have taken care of cats for as long as I can remember. I worked for our local animal shelter for a couple years and spent tons of time with cats. I am a huge cat person and consider myself somewhat of a cat whisperer!
About: I have worked with all types of animals, breeds and personality types. I’ve done dog walking/pet sitting for about 6 years and absolutely adore it! I am comfortable with any special needs or unique temperaments. (Most of my experience has been off this app, hence my lack of reviews… I am more than happy to provide references individually!) I’m currently available anytime during the day or night, weekdays and weekends. I can do overnights as well. As long as we plan ahead all should be good! I have a lot of time to stay with the pets in their own home so they will have lots of stimulation and attention! I love taking them anywhere they love, walking around the neighborhood, trips to dog beach, or supervising play dates with their furry friends!

“Tylyn was wonderful with our dogs! We really know when the boys have fun and feel comfortable. They are very picky! They really really loved her and her little girl. Snow normally doesn’t get along well with children but he just loved Naya. They played a lot, enjoyed a dog pool and went on walks with her. They were very tired on our way back home. Thank you, Tylyn, for taking such good care of them. See you next time.”

“Kena sends updates throughout the day with pictures which is so nice. She was very flexible keeping him for a bit longer than I had planned and my dog basically ran into her arms each morning so I know he had a great time.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, so being around them has always felt natural to me. I recently graduated from Chico state and currently have two dogs of my own a 6 year old toy poodle and a 5 months old border collie mix. As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog or cat with someone else. That’s why I do my best to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with me. Whether your pet loves to play, go for walks, or just relax and get cuddles, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and care. I treat every pet like they’re part of the family, and I’ll always keep you updated so you can have peace of mind while you’re away! I currently work part time at Bath & Body Works and usually only have 2–3 shifts a week, so my schedule is very flexible. When I’m not working, I’m home spending time with my own dogs. This allows me to be available for different drop-off and pick-up times and gives me plenty of time to provide walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I treat every pet like they’re one of my own. My home is a safe, loving environment where pets get lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and cuddles. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll do my best to follow their normal routine and help them feel right at home.
“Holly has been an amazing sitter for our Goldendoodle. Our dog tends to be high-strung but she is totally relaxed with Holly and enjoys going on walks. It didn't take our dog long to feel comfortable with Holly. We are really happy with her service.”

“Jessica was great! She took our dog in last minute for the day and sent us updates throughout the time. The backyard was huge and had plenty of space for the dog to run and sniff.”

“Lina is wonderful! We were coming into town for an event and needed someone to watch our 2.5 year old male golden retriever pup. She took such good care of him. He’s usually such an anxious guy but as so soon as he met Lina and her dog Winnie, he seemed right at home. We were a little anxious leaving him since this was our very first Rover experience but we felt much better because she made sure to give us regular updates to let us know that he was doing great. Her cats even helped entertain him. We will absolutely be using Lina again when we come to town next and would 100% recommend her to others.”

“Forrest does such a lovely job taking care of our doggy, Lola. Forest gives Lola. Lots of attention takes her on walks. Today it was raining, they still took a nice walk in the park. I have no idea how Forrest got Lola to walk in the rain(?) normally Lola won’t step out on the front porch, if she sees rain :)”

About: I have experience caring for many dogs for friends family and neighbors. I often would care for my neighbors dog since he was a puppy, parents worked full time and puppies need all the attention they can get so I helped train him. I also trained my own puppy Melo, he’s still growing and learning but I love being his mom. I take extra care of his supplements and nutrition so I know the importance of taking the extra time to do all of that. I have a verry good schedule with being home, I have two dogs of my own iam always coming home at lunch whenever I work. My husband also has a great schedule and helps me out whenever iam not here . When boarding with me I’ll have my dogs stay under my moms care while I pay full attention to your critter. I live in a house with a huge yard they can run around. I am also close enough to bidwell park to go on walks if you’d like that!
“Autumn was great!!! She came and met my dog before the doggy day care stay. She made sure my dog was comfortable with her and followed all my instructions. My dog got along well with Bruno, Autumn’s dog. Bruno is very friendly. She took videos of them playing and sent me regular photo updates, which I really appreciated. I will continue working with Autumn for doggy day care! Thank you!”

“Kassandra did a great job taking care of my pup. She responded quick to my request and was there to meet me when I dropped my dog off. She had a Mello dog and a nice backyard for my girl to hang out in. Would definitely consider booking with her again!”

“Bentley had the absolute best time with Deena. It could not have been more perfect. He played all day and came home a happy and tired pup. Deena and her husband clearly love animals and are excellent caregivers. Deena even sent us off with extra treats--some lovely squash and plums from her garden. Thank you for taking such good care of our boy.”

“Danielle took good care of my dog who has separation anxiety and does not like other dogs. She was very considerate of my dogs needs and my wonky schedule. Thank you for taking care of my pup”

About: I’ve always been told I have a way with dogs. I absolutely adore each and every dog I come into contact with. I’m patient, I’m loving, and I will work my absolute hardest to ensure the best possible experience not only for your animal but for you as well. I take pride in being reliable, and going above and beyond no matter what 💝 I have a very open schedule right now, and will work with anyone to make things run as smoothly as possible in regards to their pet needs/wants. My pets are the most important aspect of my house. I will make sure they have adequate potty breaks and I will make sure they have the best time ever when they are in my care. My house is safe, clean, and very pet friendly. They are treated like family around here ☺️
About: I bring a lifetime of animal care experience to every pup I watch. From leading 4H swine projects to raising multiple dogs at a time, animals have always been part of my daily life. I have taken several animal care courses and have an EMT background, so I am confident handling everything from routine needs to unexpected situations. I also specialize in leash training and love working with both energetic puppies and gentle seniors. My friends laugh that I would make a great dog photographer because I cannot resist capturing their personalities and quirks. More than anything, I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, loved, and at home while you are away. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent attention, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. I enjoy starting mornings with walks, building in play sessions in the afternoon, and winding down with cuddle time in the evenings. Whether it is a quick walk, training time, or just hanging out together, I love making sure each dog feels included in the rhythm of my day. When dogs stay with me for boarding or overnight care, they become part of my household. They get a comfortable place to rest, plenty of playtime, and regular walks built into the day. I make sure their routines are followed as closely as possible so they feel at home, whether that means a favorite toy at bedtime or a certain feeding schedule. For daily walks or playtime day dates, I focus on keeping them active, engaged, and safe. Walks include leash training reinforcement if needed, and playtime is all about burning off energy in a fun, positive way. I know how important this care is because I have been on the other end of the service myself. That experience drives me to give every pet loving attention, a safe environment, and peace of mind for their people while they are away.

About: I have grown up with Dogs and cats as a child. Also had bunny’s, reptiles, and gerbils for that matter! LOL! I’ve had the same Beautiful Most Awesome cat named Gizmo for 15 years until October of last year when cancer took him from me! I’m deeply saddened still. And please believe me when I say. “It was the hardest thing I ever had to do or went thru”. He was my best bud and I loved saying hello when I got home but when he was gone it has been my hardest goodbye! I now dog/New puppy sit for a good family friend. And love every minuet of it! I also clean and make sure the home is presentable and reasonably ready for their mom to get home and not have to worry about cleaning their mess. Or her own. If client is comfortable with that. Then I would do anything that was asked of me! I’m very punctual and respectful and take into account what the client needs not what I think they need. It’s your family member. It’s your house, all you got to do is talk to me and let me know what you need and I will do my best at providing that service. I also have 1 dog named Bella and 2 cats named Abel and Mozart in our family. Update: Bella past from cancer a few weeks ago, and Mozart passed 2 weeks ago due to kidney disease ! We have suffered so much loss in the past 8 months. We now have Abel and Delilah. Delilah is a 3 month old kitten and Abel is a 1 yr old! Lots of fun! Please check my pets profile to see pics of them. And let me tell you. This is their house. We just live in it! LOL. Abel is new. I adopted him shortly after some grieving time over Gizmo. And he is just like gizmo. Big personality and very much a pain in my rear. But he’s our child. And he’s so beautiful! Than you so much for your time in reading this. And don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. I am a partially disabled person. I have a disease that affects my hips and lower spine, and then a disease that we believe. I contracted through my father‘s service in Vietnam, but don’t worry nothing that’s contagious. LOL. Nothing that is Gunna take me out anytime soon but getting out of the house to go take care of fur babies is the best thing for me. It gives me exercise. It gives me purpose and it gives me the ability to give the love that I have to give away to other members of peoples families. I’m truly honest and respectful, and need more purpose in my life to help other’s, my hips and my Parkinson’s disease will not slow me down. I’m young still at 41 and I will continue to do anything and everything I can to help anyone in everyone that I can. I would like to continue helping by doing this service for you and your family.. And NOTHING WILL keep me from doing anything and everything needed in any case of taking care of your home or your furbaby. unfortunately, I can only take care of people’s homes & their fur babies in their home, because of my furbabies. Thank you for understanding. I will keep your home in pristine condition. Cat boxes will be cleaned 2 to 3 times a day unless instructed otherwise. I’m very particular about that for your fur babies and your home will be treated with respect and love and cared for by me, which means I will put my all into anything that you need taken care of.

I make sure every environment is calm, clean, and pet-friendly, and I take care to remove any potential hazards. I closely follow each pet parent’s instructions, including feeding routines, medications, and any specific care needs. I take time to understand each pet’s personality so I can provide patient, attentive care that helps them feel safe and stress-free. I also carry basic animal first aid supplies and am prepared to respond calmly in case of emergencies. Building trust with pet parents is just as important to me as caring for their pets. I provide updates, communicate clearly, and aim to give helpful feedback when needed. My goal is for you to feel completely confident while you’re away and to return to a happy, well-cared-for pet.

Your pet receives attentive, personalized care from someone passionate about animal health and welfare 5. Trusted care backed by years of animal experience and veterinary education Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine. As a pet owner myself, I care for my cat every day by feeding him, cleaning his litter box, playing with him, and making sure he gets plenty of attention and enrichment. I also grew up caring for a variety of animals on my family’s ranch, so tending to animals has always been a normal part of my life. My part-time work schedule gives me flexibility to check on pets before and after work, and I am committed to following each pet’s routine as closely as possible. I understand that consistency is important for animals, and I make it a priority to ensure they receive the care, exercise, companionship, and attention they need while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and reduce stress while their owner is away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special needs. For dogs, this includes walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. For cats, I make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and daily interaction based on their personality and comfort level. I also monitor pets for any changes in behavior, appetite, or overall well-being and communicate updates with owners so they can have peace of mind. In addition to caring for the pets, I respect and care for the client’s home by keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as they left it.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I have experience with dogs who have special needs, specifically, neurological disorders requiring medication administration. I’ve spent the last two years training my dog, Bubba, through separation anxiety and reactive aggression. He went from chasing cats to occasionally taking naps with them. My first dog, Lilly, was reactive to dogs and when I brought home Bubba as a puppy, my family called him “snack” because they didn’t think it was possible, but she immediately took him in and they were inseparable for 7 years! I’ve always been gifted at reading animals - humans, not so much. I will always advocate for those who can’t advocate for themselves :) I’m available every day, whenever you need! I recently quit my job and needed a fun way to get a little extra cash before moving to the PNW! Unfortunately, my dog is an anti-social introvert and doesn’t like visitors. His house, his rules… However, I’m more than happy to care for your pet inside of your home!
About: I've had animals all my life. I've cared for neighbor's pets since I was little and I have experience with animals of all sizes, from hamsters to horses! I have small pet, herp, and invert experience as well. I'm dedicated to providing the very best care for your pets! I have a flexible work schedule that allows me plenty of time to ensure your animals are perfectly cared for! I come to your home and ensure that every animal has food and water, that everyone is healthy and happy, and spend time with each animal.
About: I’ve had pets my entire life ( dogs and cats ) and for the past three years, I’ve started caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs ( senior pets with specific medication schedules etc. ) and of all different sizes and breeds. All of my experience is boarding at the customers house for the pets ultimate comfort. I want to create the best routines for your pets whether its walks, runs, baths, park visits you name it! I currently work part time, but have full availability through the week for caring and watching your pets! ( the only accommodation to my schedule is when I'm at work - longest I would be away from the pet would be 5 hours, as a full work shift.) growing up in Chico, I value the community, Housesitting/ boarding at the clients house, operates on trust and boundaries. Parting from your loved pets for a vacation can be a tricky, as finding the comfortable, trusting fit for a pet sitter might seem precarious, but my goal is to make it as simple and as comfortable as possible. I really want my love for animals to shine through and am super interested in providing any precautionary measures that are needed : obviously a sit down interview - with a résumé and my background in pet care, multiple references, practice, run-throughs of the pets, thorough schedules or needs ( in person or whatever works best ), even walking the pet (with or without owner in advance ) to gain trust of the pet :) etc etc. I am new to Rover and am so excited to expand my knowledge on animal care !!

Thank you!”

“Jennifer was amazing! This was my first time boarding my dog, and Jennifer made me feel so comfortable doing so. She kept me updated with photos and videos. Jennifer was also very understanding when my flight home was delayed. Would highly recommend!”

“Deena took excellent care of our two German shepherds while we were in Hawaii! We got updates during our trip and we could tell the dogs were having a great time and loved Deena. We highly recommend trusting in her to take care of your dogs!”

“Our boys had a great time with Mitchell and we were updated regularly with pictures and reports on how they were doing. So glad we booked with her, will definitely book with her again!”

“Lynette was nothing less than fantastic. Scout was happily exhausted and seems to have made some new friends. Lynette sent frequent updates and let us share in the fun with pictures.”

“Literally the most amazing pet sitter! This was my puppies first time being away from me. Mary has been nothing but loving to my little Bella. She sent me photos and videos to update me throughout the day. As soon as I dropped her off, Mary sent me adorable videos! Mary and her husband are incredibly sweet and made me feel more than comfortable, even excited to have my puppy stay with them. I knew that Bella was going to be in great hands. They asked lots of questions when I dropped her off and helped me carry all Bella’s stuff inside their house. Their dogs were sweet and gentle with her. I am so happy! I am 100% booking with Mary again! If you want a great pet sitting experience and a second home for your dog when you need it, book with Mary! My puppy was so incredibly happy and loved!”
