“Wenchi was amazing with Raya! She sent regular updates with pictures and gave her the best treats. She was really flexible with us as well. We got married and she was willing come to the venue to pick her up directly after the ceremony! It was a seamless pick up. And the she was willing to drop her off to us in a farther location. We even changed the location a few times, and she was willing and happy to. We are so happy with her communication and taking such good care of Raya. Highly recommend!!”

“My dog did wonderfully with Kirsten! I've tried a few different boarding options and Kirsten is by far the best! She sent a daily update to let me know how it was going and was very quick and responsive to communication about both pickup and drop off times. I will certainly be using Kirsten again for my boarding needs.”

“My pups loved staying at Marya’s and I could tell they were well taken care of. Lots of photos and updates, and Marya was really great with communication and coordinating drop off and pick up times. I recommended her to my friend who lives in the area, and I hope my pups can stay here again next time we’re in town!”

“Impressive. Is the words I need yo say. My dog appears exhausted and happy. He might be a little down after having a friend(dog) while out there. The folks are Lab people and they took took to him like he takes to people. Will use when needed. Thanks guys.”

“Erica is so amazing! She’s so flexible, accommodating and welcoming! She’s always so excited to see my pup and my pup is always comfortable as soon as she gets there! We love Erica <3”

“My dog was very comfortable at Julissas house and I appreciated the updates throughout the day. I felt at ease leaving him there and will be booking with her again in the future! ?”

“Martha was awesome! Very attentive and caring. Kept in contact to let me know how Angel was adjusting. And sent pictures which reassured me that she is definitely an animal lover 🩷🩷🩷”

“Pontida took my chrissy in last moment, for a fair price, and with lots of love. She sent pictures with updates, letting me know that chrissy was ok and doing well. Chrissy had a great time and I could not have asked for a better pet sitter.”

“I can't say enough about how positive the experience was. Melissa and her family are super sweet and caring. We arranged to have our dogs meet in advance, which was great, and Melissa took the time to make that happen. My dog took some time to socialize with their other dogs, but Melissa was accommodating and helpful to make sure that process went smoothly. She also sent pictures and video while we were away. Highly recommend!”

“This is the second time Kazue has watched our dog Coco and takes excellent care of her. Coco could be a handful because she loves being held and around people constantly. Kazue updates us with photo and video and we know Coco is well taken care of. Thank you Kazue for the excellent care and peace of mind.”

“Beyond fantastic! Kasandra kept our cocker while we were away for 2 weeks. Not only was he very well cared for—he was actually better than when we left him! He is way calmer and has better manners than he had at drop off. Kasandra gave me some pointers that will help me a lot with him at home. This gal is a dog whisperer!! I could not be more grateful. Thank you Kasandra!”

“Cedric was honestly one of the best sitters I have ever used on Rover! He was so flexible in drop off and pick up, communicated very well and gave my boy Nitro all the attention he needed. He treated my dog like a part of the family. I would 100% use Cedric again without a doubt!”

“Erin is a very loving doggy sitter. I can go away and feel my dog is in good hands. Erin sends two updates daily along with pictures. She has 2 dogs, who my dog gets along with just fine. I highly recommend Erin”

“Our sweet Sally loved her time with Kathleen! Kathleen was communicative and sent pictures of a very happy Sally! We have already booked Kathleen for an upcoming family wedding we're traveling to. We're confident it will be fun for Sally to visit Kathleen again!”

“Lynn has always been wonderful with our dogs. They are spoiled with walks, treats and lots of cuddling. Lynn is the best dog boarder - we are never worried leaving our dogs with her.”

“While I was away, Sade had excellent communication with me the entire time. She sent pictures and updates regularly, which I really appreciated. She also followed the meal plan I provided perfectly and took great care of Peanut. I would definitely highly recommend Sade to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter, and I will absolutely be using her again in the very near future!”

“Kayla was very communicative throughout the entire stay. It was our first time leaving our dog, and she immediately put us at ease when we met her. I loved receiving updates and pictures of him while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such great hands. I would definitely trust her with our pup again!”

“Chelsi is fantastic! Left our girl Donna with her and they had a blast together! She followed all our instructions and sent great updates and photos! We will definitely be booking with Chelsi again the next time we go out of town!”

About: My name is Hannah and I am a lifelong cat lover. I had cat (s) growing up since I was old enough to remember, and I’ve always been smitten by their playful and curious nature. I have a 3 1/2 year-old male gray and white cat of my own that I rescued from an abandoned apartment. We enjoy going on lil walks around my complex and learning new tricks! Well, most pet sitting business is focused primarily on dogs, I feel it’s essential to give cats the same focus. I have had years of experience with all different kinds of cats and have even helped a family friends cat give birth twice.
About: I've grown up with all sorts of pets for as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish. I have two cats of my own right now (two very spoiled babies). I'm typically free in the evenings Monday through Thursday and completely free on the weekends. But if needed for an emergency I can work from home Monday through Thursday to be there for your pet. I care for pets in the same way that I care for myself, with the upmost care. Dogs get walked at least twice a day, and plenty of love. Cats also get the same, and I have plenty of toys for both cats and dogs.
“Steven is a wonderful kitty sitter! He always communicated when he was on his way to come feed, water and play with both our cats. He ensured that they got a good amount of play with their favorite toys (strings on sticks of course) and even got our old man to play a little more than he normally does. When we got back home, the cats seemed relaxed and content with Stevens care also! No one seem frazzled and they loved him too. He always sent us fun photos of them eating and playing. We really appreciate his effort and commitment to care for our kitties! Thank you Steven! We hope to work with you again!”

About: I have had animals since I was 12. I personally have 4 cats. 3 of the 4 are related. Mama Kitty was a porch kitty and she had a litter of 6 kittens. I raised them all and adopted them out at 12 weeks. I kept two, Archie & Cali. I then foster failed Munchkin. I’ve had 3 dogs in my life and loved them all. I have fostered 2 dogs in the past 3 years and 1 cat. Suffice to say I will always have an animal in the home. I currently work full time from home. I am available at all times during the day and evening. For now my availability will be pretty open to everyone’s needs. I am looking to get out of the house. I had to put my boy down last year and it’s been so hard to enjoy daily walks without him. I am looking to walk dogs and give any cats some extra love. I love all animals. Big and small.
About: Extensive experience as a vet tech for over 5 years, experience raising future service dog puppies from 8 weeks old, currently a third year veterinary student, equipped to handle pet emergencies I am working 2 days a week in an emergency pet hospital so I have lots of time outside of those days to spend with your pets! I care for pets in a specialized manner to what works best for them-whether that be a high-energy dog that enjoys playing in the park and long walks or a senior citizen who enjoys a leisurely amble

My household has a large breed gentle dog and a very curious adventurous kitty who both love to play! They keep me on a full schedule, as we make plenty of time for daily walks and lots of play. :) I have a large fenced in back yard, and many parks within 1 mile of walking distance or a short car ride from my house. Our house has a playful dog friendly cat, and a gentle large breed dog to keep your fur babies company! I am an attentive pet care provider, who understands the importance of quality care! :)
About: I have a lot of experience with taking care of dogs mostly and cats. I have owned dogs for over a decade and I look forward to meeting people and their pets on here. I currently have an open schedule at the time. I'm looking to book as many visits as I can so feel free to reach out. We have a spare bedroom that we use at night instead of a crate. “We highly recommend Bianca. She provided excellent care to our animal family. I was very nervous at first because of some bad experiences in the past with pet sitters but Bianca responded to my concerns with with kindness and good humor. I was able to relax and enjoy my time away knowing she had everything handled at home. We plan to hire her again for our next trip”
“Alyssa did everything asked and more! She was very easy to work with and took great care of our babies! We would definitely ask her again to watch them again! Thank you for the peace of mind while we were away Alyssa!!!”

“Nianna was friendly and very thorough. My cats got all the attention they needed. Most importantly she made sure Vernes meds were administered. She even made sure they got to watch cat TV so they were entertained. She let me know when she arrive… and when she was leaving and soon after gave me a summary. Excellent pet sitter !”
About: Although I currently do not have a dog of my own, I have had dogs in my family since I was 8 years old and have learned that they can have the best and funniest personalities and I love making a dog feel welcome anywhere and that they always know that somebody cares for them the way they care for their owner. I’ve been pet sitting for over 3 years and currently have a cat so i know how to take care of them as well in case you have both cats and dogs! I’m currently attending Woodland Community College and am a associates graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Since I only go to school and am trying to work remotely, I’ll have plenty of time for your pets and most if not all afternoons of the week can walk them. I constantly make sure my pets are okay with what they’re eating, drinking, how they act, if it’s unusual or usual and take a pet’s physical and mental health very seriously as I’ve had to put down many of my family’s own dogs in the past when they became ill and know the emotional toll it can be for the owners.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have been their main caregiver since middle school. From playful puppies to senior companions, I love making sure every dog feels happy, safe, and cared for. I currently look after my own service dog and have helped neighbors by watching their dogs and homes while they traveled. My time in the Air Force gave me the chance to work with military working dogs, so I’m also comfortable handling pups that may be a little more energetic, nervous, or fragile. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your dog like part of my own family. I work Wednesday to Sunday no set times and can accommodate any animals into my schedule as needed. I also have my own 3 dogs I care for every day and night. I am happy to provide any service needed for our furry companions, from cuddling and walking to bathing and cleaning up after them. My dogs get regular bathes and playtime in water in the yard, as well as lots of long walks
About: Hi, My name is Cristal and I have over 20 years of experience working with domestic and exotic animals. I have experience working as a vet tech for 7 years. I graduated as a B.S. Biology major from Sacramento State University. I enjoy the responsibility of caring for my dog Vuitton because he’s my greatest companion of all time. And I’d love for him to get extra treatment when I’m not home. Nonetheless, I know how important it is to know how he’s doing when I’m away. Lowers my anxiety if I see someone constantly giving me updates and will help my conscious from feeling bad if my dog is distracted with someone else. That’s what I do. Give your darlings love, attention, and FITNESS if allowed :) CURRENTLY ONLY: house sitting & check ins, for those owners who have pets that feel less anxious and more comfortable being cared for under their roof. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions! Looking forward to meeting furry friends for Vuitton to play with! Always, Cristal J. Rojas Looking for a pet sitter? Please contact me for further details or to set up a date to meet. Thank you! I am available evenings and weekends for dog walks. About: I have extensive experience in the veterinary field for over 17years and currently work at veterinary hospitals. I am able to medicate, do injections, and recognize when a pet needs to go to a vet if needed. Yes, your furry loved one will get beyond spoiled with love and treats. If your pet likes outings during the stay we will go walking too. I really want to know what your pet enjoys so I can accommodate them to make them feel more comfortable. I have greater availability for those weekend getaways. I recommend pet sitters like myself over dog boarding facilities as your pet will get the care that you would give. During the stay you can get your pets daily updates and pictures to know your pet is in good hands. I am a huge advocate on low stress environments for pets who stay in my home to make their stay more pleasant. I utilize techniques that the veterinary field has also incorporated. I work from home so your pet is never alone. I customize your pets stay to their needs as each pet has their own personality. I have 2 fenced yards if your pet wants to sunbathe or play with their favorite toys. I can also keep your pet in there own room if they prefer quiet relaxation.
About: I grew up taking care of all kinds of animals including hamsters, bunnies, and even fish. I currently have two dogs in Southern California-a jack russel and a pitbull I adopted from a shelter. They are the loves of my life. I just graduated UC Davis and spend a lot of time at home so I am free all 7 days of the week, 24 hours a day, no preference. I live in a house with a huge backyard. Pets are free to roam as they like. I also offer taking your pets to Toad Hollow Dog Park, where I used to take my Jack Russell as well as daily walks.

About: Hello my name is Teresa. I currently work part-time, which gives me the perfect opportunity to spend time loving and caring for animals—because honestly, what better way is there to earn extra income than by caring for your fur babies? I’ve had (and still have) many dogs and cats over the years, and I currently share my home with two of my own: Diesel and Dixie. We live in a safe, quiet home in Williams, CA, with a fully fenced yard where your pet can play and feel at ease. Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to take care of your dogs needs. I just would like to know any pertinent information about your dog to make their stay enjoyable. I have a fenced in backyard to keep your dog or dogs secure. “Kathleen was able to modify our two walks and turn it into a day stay so Coco wouldn’t be alone all day. Kathleen is reliable and conscientious. Coco took to her immediately & looks forward to her walks and rides around town (when it’s too hot to do anything else). Feel so fortunate to have someone like Kathleen take care of my Coco as if she were her own.”

About: I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I’ve had my own dogs for many years and grew up around dogs, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. In addition, I did dog sitting for neighbors and families for several years when I was younger, helping with walking, feeding, and daily care. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, anxious dogs, and dogs that need patience and clear routines, including leash training and behavioral challenges. Dogs are family members to me, and I always treat them with love, structure, and respect. I’m calm, patient, and attentive, and I make sure every dog feels safe and comfortable in my care. I’m very flexible and spend a lot of time at home. I work partly from home and partly in the office, but my schedule allows me to adapt easily to a dog’s needs. Dogs are rarely left alone, and I can adjust my routine to provide plenty of attention, walks, and companionship. Dogs in my care are treated like family. They are allowed to relax freely in my home, including on the couch. I live with two small dogs, so it’s important that visiting dogs are friendly and comfortable around other dogs. I do not accept aggressive dogs to ensure a safe and peaceful environment for everyone.
“Laura was wonderful and made sure my Goomba was very well taken care of and attended to, taking him on multiple walks and socializing him when they could. Sent me updates that made me feel at ease for this was my first time using this service. I’m glad my pup had the best time with her, I will definitely be back :)”

About: I have lived with pets all my life and have over 6 years of professional experience in all kinds of animals (including but not limited to) birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have 1 green cheek conure, 1 desert tortoise, 2 cats, and 1 dog myself. I can medicate your animals, but also help with training, exercise, grooming, and other enriching or basic husbandry care. I’ve recently moved to Woodland to help my sister with her kids, which leaves me some time for myself but not enough for a full time job. That’s where pet sitting comes in for me. Animal care is an important thing to me, and I love to know I’m helping your pet live their best life. Most pets will be comfortable in their own home so I can make house trips at least twice a day, perhaps more depending on where you are located respective to me. If you’d like me to take your little one into my own home, we can talk about it and go from there :)

AVAILABILITY 2025: Sun-Thurs 12pm-12am Fri-Sat available, with a travel $$$ fee if client lives outside of town. HAPPY FALL! When I have someone checking in on my dog, I would want them to treat my house with respect and to focus on only what I told him/her. I will suggest to write down things like having the thermostat at a certain degree for your pets or needing to pick up after your dog in your backyard. I am very detailed orientated. So just let me know what you think your pet will need to make it easier and safer for him/her while you are away.

About: I grew up with pets all my life and have taken care of my neighbors and friends dogs at a young age, for as long as I can remember For the summer I am available most days throughout the weekdays and weekends to be able to play, walk, and take care of your pets! I have two dogs that I care for by making sure they get plenty of food and water everyday and playing with them so they can live a happy life!
About: I’m a huge animal lover of both cats and dogs! I’ve had experience training puppies and also caring, walking, crate training, and maintaining a healthy feeding schedule. I’m open any day of the week at any times and I’m able to come house sit. Most animals are comfortable in their own home so whatever works best for them. I will ensure a safe environment for your pet whether that be crating your pet, keeping a close eye on your pet, and providing them play as a healthy distraction as you arrive.

I also have two dogs Diesel and Dixie to keep your animals company.

“Gaby is such an excellent dog walker for our pup. She is very communicative, flexible, and overall such a delight to work with. Our dog was immediately drawn to her, and she did a fantastic job paying attention to detail and making us feel comfortable with her services. Absolutely recommend her to anyone!!”

About: Are you a professional traveling for work or vacation? Do you need a house sitter who follows instructions with the same precision used in a lab? I am a PhD microbiologist and former UC Davis postdoctoral researcher, currently transitioning from academic research to state policy work. I have experience with taking care of my own pets, taking care of others' pets, and following precise protocols for taking safe, kind, and meticulous care of research animals as diverse as squid and cattle. While navigating the state hiring timeline, I am offering premium house/pet sitting services for clients who value maturity, reliability, and absolute adherence to their home routines. What do I offer? - The "Adult" Standard: I am a professional in my 30s. I do not throw parties. I do not invite guests. I do not treat your home like a dorm. It remains a sanctuary. - Protocol-Driven Care: My background is in the lab, not the clinic. I don't guess at animal psychology, but I follow your care protocols exactly. Medication schedules, dietary measurements, and security routines are executed precisely as written. - Cleanliness & Respect: I am trained to leave a workspace cleaner than I found it. Your home will be maintained to a high standard of order and hygiene. - Privacy Firewall: As a professional in transition, I offer a level of privacy that your students or subordinates cannot. Your personal life remains completely separate from your professional hierarchy. Logistics: - References: Current Landlord (vouching for impeccable property care) + Professional References. - Availability: I housesit a maximum of two weeks per month. - Animals I Will Sit: Adult and senior dogs, small non-venomous/poisonous animals (both mammals and reptiles - non-venomous snakes < 4 feet in length ok!), and aquatics only. For aquatics especially, please prepare a care sheet with the number and species (with scientific names if you know them) of all animals in the tank(s) and required physicochemical parameters for each tank, in addition to health information and feeding schedules. No cats may be present in the home (I am allergic). - Behavioral Requirements: Your dog must be fully housetrained and preferably also trained to follow some basic commands ("sit", "stay", "come"). I do not accept dogs with severe separation anxiety, constant barking, aggression towards humans, or destructive tendencies. I do not accept small animals/aquatics with aggression towards humans or destructive tendencies. - Other requirements: I am a working professional. Your home must have reliable high-speed Wi-Fi and a quiet place to sit and work while I housesit/watch your pet. If I am staying in your home, for my safety and security, I require that no other humans other than you come over for the duration. I work remotely full-time as a policy consultant, meaning my schedule is highly flexible and I can be present in the home for the majority of the day. I maintain a quiet, predictable, and focused daily routine. Because my work is entirely remote, your pets will have consistent companionship, and their specific feeding, walking, and medication schedules will be executed exactly as you prescribe them. My background as a laboratory scientist means I operate with an exacting standard of cleanliness, precision, and respect for established protocols. Your home is treated as a secure, private environment. I do not invite guests over, I maintain a strict privacy firewall, and I ensure all home security and maintenance routines are followed to the letter. My goal is to leave your home cleaner than I found it, providing clear, reliable updates (including photo and video) so you can travel with absolute peace of mind.

“Pontida took my chrissy in last moment, for a fair price, and with lots of love. She sent pictures with updates, letting me know that chrissy was ok and doing well. Chrissy had a great time and I could not have asked for a better pet sitter.”

“Our sweet Sally loved her time with Kathleen! Kathleen was communicative and sent pictures of a very happy Sally! We have already booked Kathleen for an upcoming family wedding we're traveling to. We're confident it will be fun for Sally to visit Kathleen again!”

“She took amazing care of my sphynx, Noodle. I’m nervous about someone I don’t know watching him but I felt so comfortable and knew Noodle was in good hands. 100% will book again!!”

“Edward had another wonderful stay with Jessie. He gets so excited when he sees her. He’s so much happier staying with her than at a boarding kennel and she takes great care of him.”

“Mir and her family were great with Cookie. She did check in and let me know how cookie was doing over the 3 days and sent pictures. We will definitely use her again should Cookie need a sitter.”

About: We’re experienced Rover users ourselves, so we understand how important it is to find someone you truly trust with your pet. After recently losing our German Shepherd, Ace, due to old age, we’ve been missing the joy of having more dogs around, and our lab, Indie, would love a playmate. We have a home with a secure yard and are excited to offer a safe, loving environment for dogs while their owners travel or need extra support. We treat every dog like family, with plenty of attention, playtime, and care tailored to their needs. Whether your pup is energetic or prefers a slower pace, we’ll make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and at home. For everyone’s safety and happiness, dogs must get along well with Indie, and we require a meet-and-greet before booking. I am a nurse in Davis and my wife works from home which allows for flexibility throughout the day. We stay pretty scheduled but have the availability to cater to our dogs needs! We have a fully fenced yard with a friendly lab. We love being outside and going for walks in west Davis. Since we used to have 2 dogs we are familiar with leash safety and navigating other dogs on walks.
“Thank you Poulette for sitting Blue! He seem well taking care of and very happy when he returned today. I would definitely recommend you as a great dog sitter!”
