We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. The morning I dropped him off, I placed Cooper down on the pavement to see how he would react. To my amazement, Betty’s kind spirit attracted him like a moth to a flame. He ran over, pounced into her open arms, and followed her into her the house without so much as a cry. When I picked him up he that evening he gave her a million kisses before leaving. The following day, he did the same but with even more gusto. My first dog was a schnauzer, and I cared for her all the way into her senior years, so I’m comfortable with both playful pups and older dogs who need extra patience and attentiveness. About: I’ve actually had all kinds of pets my whole life, dogs, cats, fish, bunnies, hamsters, turtles so I can confidently say I’m attentive to each one’s personality, habits, needs. I’ve welcomed many stray dogs and cats into my home to care for them and feed them and rehome them. I’ve potty/litter trained countless times and I can train them for meal times, to sit or give paw(dogs), to not scratch the couch(cats). In the last 4 years in particular, family members have asked me to pop by and check on and feed their babies. One household has two very loving and hyper dogs ages 2 & 3 yrs old that have a specific diet and meal times. They are potty trained outside so I walk them 2-3x a day depending on the hours I watch them. Second household has one 14 yr old dog and a 2 yr old cat, also with their own diets and meal times. The dog uses pee pads as she’s older and potty trained outside as well. Third household has 7 cats that range from 1 yr old to 7 yrs old. They’re all more free spirited and independent as they look after each other, they all eat at the same time and have indoor and outdoor privileges. I currently have full and open availability. I’d love to gain more experience looking after pets. My cat is very independent and clean, as long as I feed him in the morning and evening and keep his litter box clean, he’s a very good boy. It gives me the confidence to be able to help someone else with their fur babies either for work or trips. I can do from simply check-ins or stay in nights at a time with them. Im super flexible. As of right now, unfortunately I don’t have the proper space to bring others pets in ): but I am more than dependable and respectful to care for furbabies in their own home. Anything from simple and winging it to a list of instructions, your furbaby won’t see me as an intruder, but as their company.

I am currently working part time and will be attending medical school starting in the fall. My weekends are almost always free and can frequently provide overnight care during the week. About: I had multiple animals growing up from a Shit Zu to a German Shepard, rabbit to a ferret, and I developed a love for animals at a young age.
