About: I keep up to date on tips and tricks for dog care! I used to work for Bark Magazine, as well as a pet sitting company based in Davis. I have experience dog sitting all sizes of dog (from Chihuahuas to Danes!) as well as cats! I have experience sitting pups training to become well-behaved and responsible dogs. (behavior, potty, etc.) Message me and we can make sure your fur family is well taken care of! I am working full-time at the moment, so I am available most days during/around midday. I am good to work around your schedule if you have work during the day as well! If the ground/cement it too hot for walks I'll try to get dogs to play or run around in whatever area is available (backyard/larger living space). I usually like to take them to parks, when the weather is nice. I’ve always taken care of pets, whether for my family, neighbors, or clients! I often like taking walks during lunch so walking or visiting pets during that time is very normal for me. I love to use what is available to me! If you have a small yard or a nice walkway near your home, I’ll make the most of it. Same goes for cats, a good toy basket or a nice place to find them is always helpful!
“Chelsea was great with our cat! She was also very flexible and responsive, especially considering the short notice for our booking and the fact that we were traveling during a holiday week. We came home to a very content kitty.”

About: My name is Hannah and I am a lifelong cat lover. I had cat (s) growing up since I was old enough to remember, and I’ve always been smitten by their playful and curious nature. I have a 3 1/2 year-old male gray and white cat of my own that I rescued from an abandoned apartment. We enjoy going on lil walks around my complex and learning new tricks! Well, most pet sitting business is focused primarily on dogs, I feel it’s essential to give cats the same focus. I have had years of experience with all different kinds of cats and have even helped a family friends cat give birth twice.
About: I grew up with pets most of my life, and attended dog training classes with my mom starting at a young age. I have had my own pets the last 13 years (dogs, cat and bunny). I have trained and titled one of my dogs in AKC Rally and Waterworks ( something specific to my dogs breed), she is also a grand champion. I would be willing to help train puppies, even though I am not a certified trainer. I can also assist in training to loose leash walk, crate training, etc. Willing to do limited bathing and grooming for an additional fee, to be determined upon request, detailed request needed. I have been grooming my Portuguese water dogs most of my adult life, I have had to maintain a show quality coat. I'm not a professional groomer, but I know my way around clippers and scissors. I was recently laid off, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups. I am available pretty much anytime currently, weekdays and weekends. I treat all animals in my care as my own, with respect and love, whether they need a play buddy or just someone to cuddle, I try to give them what they need

About: I have a 4 yr old neutered cat who I adore. Call me a crazy cat mom but I am huge on safety. Cat car seat, stroller, catio, yearly vet visits etc. I have learned how to care and love for this very opinionated, vocal, & spicy kitty. I am very aware of cat quirks and am more than happy to do overnight boarding in my home or elsewhere. I understand the struggle of wanting to find someone who will care and watch them as their own. I’m here to help! I’m a college student who is on summer break looking for a job I know I'm best at. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to reach out!
About: I've grown up with all sorts of pets for as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish. I have two cats of my own right now (two very spoiled babies). I'm typically free in the evenings Monday through Thursday and completely free on the weekends. But if needed for an emergency I can work from home Monday through Thursday to be there for your pet. I care for pets in the same way that I care for myself, with the upmost care. Dogs get walked at least twice a day, and plenty of love. Cats also get the same, and I have plenty of toys for both cats and dogs.

I have fostered 2 dogs in the past 3 years and 1 cat. Suffice to say I will always have an animal in the home. I currently work full time from home. I am available at all times during the day and evening. For now my availability will be pretty open to everyone’s needs. I am looking to get out of the house. About: I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I’ve had my own dogs for many years and grew up around dogs, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. In addition, I did dog sitting for neighbors and families for several years when I was younger, helping with walking, feeding, and daily care. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, anxious dogs, and dogs that need patience and clear routines, including leash training and behavioral challenges. Dogs are family members to me, and I always treat them with love, structure, and respect. I’m calm, patient, and attentive, and I make sure every dog feels safe and comfortable in my care. I’m very flexible and spend a lot of time at home. I work partly from home and partly in the office, but my schedule allows me to adapt easily to a dog’s needs. Dogs are rarely left alone, and I can adjust my routine to provide plenty of attention, walks, and companionship. Dogs in my care are treated like family. They are allowed to relax freely in my home, including on the couch. I live with two small dogs, so it’s important that visiting dogs are friendly and comfortable around other dogs. I do not accept aggressive dogs to ensure a safe and peaceful environment for everyone.
“Laura was wonderful and made sure my Goomba was very well taken care of and attended to, taking him on multiple walks and socializing him when they could. Sent me updates that made me feel at ease for this was my first time using this service. I’m glad my pup had the best time with her, I will definitely be back :)”

About: I’ve always had family pets and have a dog of my own now. I will follow your pets schedule and always make sure they have water and get lots of love and care. I am home Friday-Sunday and can go home for lunch Wednesday and Thursday. And I can drop in frequently on days that I am available. I love my dog and she’s one of the family. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I grew up in a household that always had multiple pets (fish, dogs, hamsters) and have since expanded my love for animals by dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and family in the neighborhood. I am offering dog walking, sitting and other pet care services for whatever furry friend you need! I’m excited to get started with Rover and build community connections in Davis! I am currently a UC Davis student looking for a part-time way to make extra money and spend more time outside and with animals! I love going on long walks and hanging out at the dog park, or just entertaining your pet at home. I live in an apartment with an unfenced yard. When I dog sit for friends, I make sure to give regular potty breaks every couple of hours and maintain an environment that is safe and comforting for your pet.

About: I have extensive experience in the veterinary field for over 17years and currently work at veterinary hospitals. I am able to medicate, do injections, and recognize when a pet needs to go to a vet if needed. Yes, your furry loved one will get beyond spoiled with love and treats. If your pet likes outings during the stay we will go walking too. I really want to know what your pet enjoys so I can accommodate them to make them feel more comfortable. I have greater availability for those weekend getaways. I recommend pet sitters like myself over dog boarding facilities as your pet will get the care that you would give. During the stay you can get your pets daily updates and pictures to know your pet is in good hands. I am a huge advocate on low stress environments for pets who stay in my home to make their stay more pleasant. I utilize techniques that the veterinary field has also incorporated. I work from home so your pet is never alone. I customize your pets stay to their needs as each pet has their own personality. I have 2 fenced yards if your pet wants to sunbathe or play with their favorite toys. I can also keep your pet in there own room if they prefer quiet relaxation.

“We had a fantastic experience with Miya. We really felt very warm when we met her the first time and when our dog was with her for a day, it was his first time at a daycare. She sent us photos and videos every few hours and our dog seemed to have enjoyed a lot. We would definitely recommend Miya and she will be our go-to sitter for sure. 5 stars. Thank you Miya for taking care of Koja and we are thankful we found you.”

About: I’ve taken care of six dogs before coming onto Rover. I have experience walking dogs, feeding them, and taking care of dogs of different sizes. I work full-time as a closer at my current job, so I have free-time to be able to take care of animals anytime before 2pm most days. I can do 30 minute visits or longer — whatever you need for your fur baby. I graduated from UC Davis this year, so I’m trying to get hired in the environmental sector to start my career and begin a more typical work schedule. I have an apartment in Woodland where I spend time with my indoor cats. One of my cats is very friendly with people and other cats, but my other cat takes a while to get adjusted to people and other animals, so I only do visits at other people’s places. I treat client’s homes with care, and ensure I do not make any messes or overstep any boundaries.

I do have one thing that I would love for you to keep in mind please do ask for a Meet&Great first if you want to do daycare or dog walking. If you want to boarding I request for you to do a Meet&Great then day or day of DayCare this will allow you dog to be less stressed when we finally stay at my house as well as make the time more enjoyable because I will be able to understand you baby need better. Leaving you dog stay to be more satisfying I am currently part time student at UC Davis and i don’t work for mental health reason. My greatest aid in keeps my stress down is taking care of dogs and my little sister helps me with walking and taking the dogs potty and of course give attention I have two furry friend in my house to keep other dogs company that love to play and a family that loves dogs. I will feed the dogs in different location with my house. Also when I am not home they will be left in separate parts of the house. When I at else home I always try to leave the place the way I found it and make sure the dog has been taken care of before I leave.
About: I have had animals since I was 12. I personally have 4 cats. 3 of the 4 are related. Mama Kitty was a porch kitty and she had a litter of 6 kittens. I raised them all and adopted them out at 12 weeks. I kept two, Archie & Cali. I then foster failed Munchkin. I’ve had 3 dogs in my life and loved them all. I have fostered 2 dogs in the past 3 years and 1 cat. Suffice to say I will always have an animal in the home. I currently work full time from home. I am available at all times during the day and evening. For now my availability will be pretty open to everyone’s needs. I am looking to get out of the house. I had to put my boy down last year and it’s been so hard to enjoy daily walks without him. I am looking to walk dogs and give any cats some extra love. I love all animals. Big and small.

About: I have been taking care of animals from a very young age, including horses, goats, cats, dogs, rabbits, pigs. My experience with dogs has been the most consistent relationships from childhood into adulthood, I myself have raised my 13 year old lab mix since he was 3 years old! He is happy and healthy but I have so much love to give, I would love to meet your pets! I am currently working part time, traveling to Southern California every 5-6 weeks. My time is open otherwise during the week to walk dogs, check in on them, feed them, whatever you need! I’m happy to meet your pet in their environment where they’re comfortable and safe. I don’t mind long walks and could also bring them to the dog park for exercise if that is part of your routine.
About: I have always had a passion for animals and it seems they’ve always been drawn to me! Growing up my mom owned a small pet sitting business. We took care of dogs, cats, birds, even an entire farm. Over the years of helping my mom and pet sitting on my own, I’ve gained plenty of knowledge and patience for all furry friends! I have my own small business as a licensed esthetician, so whenever I don’t have clients scheduled, I am totally free to play with your pets! I have a 1 bedroom apartment with a small yard that has public access. I live with my 3.5 year old male cat, but he is very tolerant of dogs! Pet friendly space for your furring friends to visit!

“Beyond fantastic! Kasandra kept our cocker while we were away for 2 weeks. Not only was he very well cared for—he was actually better than when we left him! He is way calmer and has better manners than he had at drop off. Kasandra gave me some pointers that will help me a lot with him at home. This gal is a dog whisperer!! I could not be more grateful. Thank you Kasandra!”

“Kirsten was great!! She was kind and communicative by sending me pics/vids with updates and was very reassuring as it was my first time having my boy away from home. I would definitely trust her to watch him again, 10/10”

About: I have lived with pets all my life and have over 6 years of professional experience in all kinds of animals (including but not limited to) birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have 1 green cheek conure, 1 desert tortoise, 2 cats, and 1 dog myself. I can medicate your animals, but also help with training, exercise, grooming, and other enriching or basic husbandry care. I’ve recently moved to Woodland to help my sister with her kids, which leaves me some time for myself but not enough for a full time job. That’s where pet sitting comes in for me. Animal care is an important thing to me, and I love to know I’m helping your pet live their best life. Most pets will be comfortable in their own home so I can make house trips at least twice a day, perhaps more depending on where you are located respective to me. If you’d like me to take your little one into my own home, we can talk about it and go from there :)

About: We’re experienced Rover users ourselves, so we understand how important it is to find someone you truly trust with your pet. After recently losing our German Shepherd, Ace, due to old age, we’ve been missing the joy of having more dogs around, and our lab, Indie, would love a playmate. We have a home with a secure yard and are excited to offer a safe, loving environment for dogs while their owners travel or need extra support. We treat every dog like family, with plenty of attention, playtime, and care tailored to their needs. Whether your pup is energetic or prefers a slower pace, we’ll make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and at home. For everyone’s safety and happiness, dogs must get along well with Indie, and we require a meet-and-greet before booking. I am a nurse in Davis and my wife works from home which allows for flexibility throughout the day. We stay pretty scheduled but have the availability to cater to our dogs needs! We have a fully fenced yard with a friendly lab. We love being outside and going for walks in west Davis. Since we used to have 2 dogs we are familiar with leash safety and navigating other dogs on walks.
