“I cannot say enough good things about Alice. Truly. She went so far above and beyond with my dog. She sent me photos and videos every day and my dog. Ocho was so happy with her. I’m not sure he really wanted to come home to be honest. That said, she bathed him the day I picked him up, He came home a better dog than when I dropped him off. Don’t get me wrong, he was a fine dog at drop off. But being with Alice and her dogs helped him to grow up, and she even trained him with a few new commands. She has natural mesquite sticks for the dogs to chew on, got them extra toys, you name it she is a dream. If you want to not only not worry about your dog, but know that your dog is having a joyous and loving wonderful experience, Alice should be your choice. I drove away with my dog, wanting to travel more so that he could spend more time there. I don’t think there’s any higher praise than that.”

About: My family has had dogs ever since I was a baby. I didn’t own my own dog until I met Buddy and we have since then been inseparable. We go to the dog park every single day to play with all the other loving dogs. I’m currently working from home and am very flexible. Shawna helped me out by watching Maeby and Merle overnight while I was attending the wedding. It was their first ever sleepover without me, so I was a little nervous. About: I have taken care of dogs for eleven years. As of right now I have two german shepherd, husky mix 1 year olds. I got them when they were 4 weeks old, they are absolutely my best friends. For overnight or extended stays I am available Sunday-Saturday. I will care for them in your home and follow the instructions given to feed and drop in visits. About: Hi, I’m Claire. I’m a lifelong animal lover, artist, and plant nursery owner based here in Twentynine Palms. I live out in Wonder Valley where I have a fenced yard with room to run, and a temperature controlled indoor area for dogs to hang out in. I’ve spent over 15 years dog walking and pet sitting, but my experience goes way beyond the standard routine. In 2018 I spent a summer living in a tent on the Denver Glacier above Skagway, Alaska, working as a dog handler and photographer for a sled dog expedition company geared towards providing excursions to cruise ship tourists. Managing teams of energetic Alaskan huskies in extreme weather taught me how to read canine body language instantly, manage energy levels, and keep anxious or excited dogs calm and safe. At home in the desert, I put that same deep understanding to use. I currently share my life with Gus (a mellow 6-year-old terrier mix) and Luna (a high-energy 2-year-old shepherd mix), and spent 14 beautiful years with my soul dog, Butters before he passed away at 17 in 2023. I’m just as comfortable with high-drive working breeds as I am with senior couch potatoes. Beyond dogs, I have extensive experience caring for cats, small mammals, reptiles, exotic birds, fish, and farm animals like chickens, goats, and rabbits. Because I run my own plant nursery and love household care, I'll keep your plants thriving and leave your home sparkling clean during any housesitting. About: I have taken care of both domestic and exotic animals all my life. I have lived in mostly farm lands. I have experience with every situation you can think of from timid, hyper, aggressive, and disabled. I work from home so my schedule is extremely open! Whether you have an easy to handle pet or one that is a little more difficult. I have the experience and patience for it all. Currently, I work from home. I also clean houses. My schedule is never really set in stone so I’m very flexible . I am also able to do same day sometimes depending on what I have going on that day! I will not just be checking in on your pet ! If I come in and happen to see your pet had an accident. I will let you know and I will also clean it up for you! I will follow every request that you have whether you have a fenced in yard or you prefer the dog to be walked with the leash! As far as cats, I am very aware that they do like to run out so I always make sure to squeeze in and out of the door very carefully to make sure none of your pets escape! I take a detailed note of how you like things being done and the time as well to not change your pets schedule too much from the norm. I will take picture documentation if needed and make sure they get fed the correct amount and the way they like it as we know some pets like their food prepped a certain way! This is your baby. I will make sure that they feel loved and safe with me.

“We hired Boston to do bi weekly walks for our two pups, Koa and Jax. Koa has always been very wary of strangers and has a lot of "stranger danger" related anxiety. Boston has been great on working with her the last few walks despite her protests, and has been very patient and understanding. Jax, our younger pup, has warmed up pretty well to him already! Boston has always been on time and let us know in advance when he is coming over. He has been very friendly, professional, and kind toward our dogs. We highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for eleven years. As of right now I have two german shepherd, husky mix 1 year olds. I got them when they were 4 weeks old, they are absolutely my best friends. We spend all the time together, we love playing fetch and chase. I’m kind of a stay at home dog mommy. I am not working, I stay at home with my fur babies. I have extra time to help others with their fur babies. I love being around dogs. Im very aware of surroundings, especially with a fur baby. Once when taking my babies on a walk, they were attacked by another dog and it made me become even more protective than I was. I know how it feels to have people not respect the rules that we make for our babies, so I will always be so respectful of everything that is expected/ not expected.
About: I have always had dogs in my home, up until a few months ago. I have worked at an animal shelter and have experience with shelter animals (dogs and cats) with walking, medicating, cleaning, grooming and socializing difficult animals. I have cared for older animals and younger animals and know what things to watch out for to ensure the safety of the animal is met. I am also currently volunteering at the Joshua Tree No Kill Shelter. I am completely available 7 days a week! The only priorities I have are my own dog so overnight stays are unlikely for me, but I am open to discussing. I am very practiced in animal care so if you hire me, I can bring some comfort to you so you can feel your pets will be looked after and cared for properly and lovingly.

My longest boarding to date was 5 months for a senior cat with Cerebellar hypoplasia. I am available on most evenings and some mornings/afternoons for drop-ins and walks. My piggy will be there to keep your baby company and I have a 15 year old kid who loves to snuggle and play with all your pets! Cats will enjoy their own space so they can feel comfortable ☺️ !!!Important Notes!!!: I love watching and caring for your snuggle bug(s)! However, I have to sleep too. If you can't pick up your pet before 7pm, one additional day of boarding or doggy daycare will be added to your booking. An additional fee will be added for dogs over 40 pounds. Dogs under 1 year and/or "bully breeds" will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed. These are incidents that I will not risk repeating. Thank you so much for understanding!

About: My family has had dogs ever since I was a baby. I didn’t own my own dog until I met Buddy and we have since then been inseparable. We go to the dog park every single day to play with all the other loving dogs. I’m currently working from home and am very flexible. Can take your pets for a walk and play with them outside or inside. They will be loved. I am proactive and will encourage the pups to run around outside, play fetch, and wrestle each other.
