He got along beautifully with her German shepherd Shadow, and they were practically inseparable. Becky was good about giving daily updates on Gambits stay, she sent photos and morning messages as well. When we got gambit back on Monday, he was completely worn out! He was so pooped out, he spent the duration of the day on the couch and even slept through the night! That shows me he had a ton of fun and exercise. “Elyssa and her lovely fam were incredible. I was visiting family in the area and left Mac with her for the day while we went boating. Mac clearly had an amazing time hanging out with his new family for the day. Her kids were so sweet with Mac (they even discovered his high fiving trick!) and Mac loved hanging with them. I felt very secure knowing that Elyssa would care for Mac and knew he was safe with her and her family. She understood that we don’t leave Mac alone and assured us someone would be with him all day. She also understood his medical condition and was attentive and ensured he was happy and not anxious. I will definitely leave Mac with Elyssa in the future when I’m in town. “This was my first time ever needing a dog sitter who wasn't a family member or friend and having my current 6 month old timid velcro puppy means that I had to be extra wary of where I leave her. When Anya and I met Audra during the meet and greet we were able to chat for a while and I felt totally comfortable explaining my own concerns and Anyas needs of patience and time. Audra was able to address them all and the answers she gave made me feel she would be a great fit. Dropping off my puppy was hard but it was easier knowing that someone who seems to really love dogs and was capable of accomodating a more timid dog had her. I was able to get updates throughout her daycare stay and when I picked her up she seemed perfectly fine and elated to see me. Driving home she was plum tuckered out and napped but when she got back home Anya was back to her regularly scheduled trouble. I gave her a look over and saw no issues and behavioral wise Anya acts as if she had never been gone at all. Afterwards I asked Audra some questions about Anya and how she did to follow up with her dog training and received prompt responses that will help me make sure that this timid pup continues to thrive and grow in confidence. If I have to find someone to watch her again or need an overnight boarding I will definitely see if Audra is available first.”
