My family has had a multitude of different pets over the years, so I actually know how to care for a lot of animals including an African bullfrog if you can believe that. I've also been house sitting/dog sitting for friends and family for years. I'm also really good with cautious dogs, I know how to make a dog who doesn't like strangers warm up to me. It might take a little while but eventually they love me. As far as walks go I love walks and who better to do it with than a dog? But I'm also conscientious of heat, where to walk on hot days so their paws don't burn and water for us to drink. I have a decent amount of control of my work time. So I am able to take breaks when needed to take animals for quick walks, playtime, and of course potty breaks. My goal is not to leave animals without these types of interactions for more than 5 hours at a time. Of course for special needs animals and puppies this can be appropriately adjusted. I strive to keep animals at ease by keeping their normal routine. So I often ask about what the animals normal day looks like and plan accordingly.

Pets are creatures of routine so keeping them in their own home and environment is the best way to avoid stress, especially if you are out of town.

About: I love to take the dogs for a walk to a nearby wonderful large park.Lots of socializing, playing, water and food. We have large crates if necessary. I’m a stay at home mother. My youngest daughter just graduated high school and will be leaving in July for college, Air Force Academy! My husband works from home, but he travels a lot. I love to devote my time to the animals! I slowly will get them acclimated. First in the kennel or on leash. I put my two dogs out back while our new friend checks out the house and notices the cats. Then I will introduce your dog, if it’s a dog, to Millie and Eddie. If I care for the pets in the client’s home, that is fine. I have plenty of time.
About: I love dogs. I live an active lifestyle and love going for runs in the Hollywood hills up away from cars, however when it comes to my clients pups, I always follow instructions for what they prefer. I have experience with all sorts of pups and would love to have your pup in the pack. While we are at my place, I go outside every hour / two for pee breaks. Usually in the morning I will go to the hills or the park before it gets too hot, or in the evening. I have experience watching all sorts of dogs with a variety of personalities. I love having fun and making sure that the pups have a good time too. I know how lame it is to be stuck in one place all the time so we try to move as much as possible.
About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. From feeding and walks to playtime and attention, I’m comfortable with all aspects of pet care. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and in my opinion the pet ALWAYS comes first. Being around all animals is absolute heaven for me:) I’m very good at figuring out how they work and what works best for them, especially when it comes to certain breeds. As if right now I currently work from home so I have a ton of free time and would love a break from the house. I have a special connection with animals, I know how to approach/ handle them so they feel safe, comfortable and trusting. Building trust is key.
About: I've taken care of both dogs and cats since I was 8 years old. I grew up with three german shepherds while volunteering at my local animal sanctuary, where I fostered kittens and ended up falling in love and adopting 3 of them!
