About: Since I was just a kid, I have taken care of all sorts of dogs ranging in size and age. A lot of these have been family pets but I always make sure to respect boundaries when and if given by the animals. I maintain the comfort of the dogs and make that my priority! I'm currently a college student with all of my classes being strictly online, so I do spend a lot of time at home. I have majority of my day holding free time and I can easily fit the care of any pets alongside my schooling! I make sure to always stick by a schedule if provided. I know that animals usually have a specific feeding routine and they will let you know if you steer off of that path; I would hate to make any animals upset. About: My headline is probably my most asked question anywhere I go lol. My family has had a multitude of different pets over the years, so I actually know how to care for a lot of animals including an African bullfrog if you can believe that. I've also been house sitting/dog sitting for friends and family for years. I'm also really good with cautious dogs, I know how to make a dog who doesn't like strangers warm up to me. It might take a little while but eventually they love me. As far as walks go I love walks and who better to do it with than a dog? But I'm also conscientious of heat, where to walk on hot days so their paws don't burn and water for us to drink. I have a decent amount of control of my work time. So I am able to take breaks when needed to take animals for quick walks, playtime, and of course potty breaks. My goal is not to leave animals without these types of interactions for more than 5 hours at a time. Of course for special needs animals and puppies this can be appropriately adjusted. I strive to keep animals at ease by keeping their normal routine. So I often ask about what the animals normal day looks like and plan accordingly.

I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, triggers, feeding schedule, medications, and any special instructions before their stay. I provide a clean, comfortable and supervised environment with plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and downtime. I never assume two pets have the same needs and will always follow the care instructions you provide. I also believe communication builds trust, so you can expect regular updates and photos while your pet is in my care.

When she came over to meet them she brought her hisband which I really appreciated b/c he was going to be present during their stay and I thought that was the best thing to do for the situation. They both reacted well during their visit and I knew right away she was perfect for the job. Heather has an obvious love for animals and made us feel very comfortable with leaving our babies w/ her for a week. She was very proactive with her communications and sent lots of pictures during our time away and very responsive to our communications. She took great care of our fur babies and they were in great condition upon pickup. About: For over 11 years, I’ve cared for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities, including French Bulldogs, German Shepherds, Weimaraners, Siberian Huskies, and my current English Labrador. If your dog is crate-trained or has specific needs, I’m happy to accommodate them. I treat every dog with the same love, patience, and respect that I give my own, while making sure they always feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. * I only accept a limited number of dogs at one time so I can give each one plenty of attention. * I send regular photo and video updates while you’re away. * Fresh water is always available, and dogs are never left outside unsupervised. * I can reinforce basic commands and leash manners during their stay.
