Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. Once we dropped Indi off, it was clear Luna treats animals like family. Her own dog, Jim, also has IBD, so she had first-hand experience and comfort caring for a pup with similar needs. Throughout the two weeks, Luna provided detailed updates every single day — including meals, meds, walks, and yes, digestion reports (very appreciated 😂). She took so many adorable photos and videos that we could see how happy and relaxed Indi was. Our dog walker also commented on how noticeably happier and healthier Indi seemed while staying at Luna’s — her stools even improved (a true win for IBD dog parents!). “This was a last minute job and Elizabeth responded quickly then came over same day to familiarize herself with the situation. She did a wonderful job during the drop in visits twice a day with Baron Von Bubbles including administrating insulin shots, giving medicine, feeding, scooping the litter & giving him fresh water. She took a lot of pictures & videos and gave me detailed updates in her messages. Baron warmed up to her within 1-2 visits and enjoyed being with her based on her reports & videos. About: My name is Marjorie the leader of the pack and doggy mommy of Leon and Luke. My border collie mix is my first baby he’s 1 yr and 5 months now I got hime when he was a puppy. The pittbull mix has recently joined the pack and he is nothing but sweet and obedient. I am a California Registered Nurse, a NICU and Infusion nurse. I love being around animals, my doggies are my therapist. Dog sitting will be my way of therapy during my days off from the toxic life of the medical field. I have trained my dogs myself basic obedience skills and have taught them to be bilingual. On days that am not tending to human needs. I will be at home tending on doggy needs. Doggies will definitely have quiet time, play time on their own or with other dogs they will of course have the same feeding time routines in my household I have fenced back yard. Bringing their food and treats are mandatory as I will not have an idea how sensitive their tummy could be.

I work fully remote, so lots of attention and activity are on the board! We go on a couple walks a day and there is a dog social in my neighborhood if you are amenable to that. “Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. I can bottle feed, give medication, and am always available for cuddles. I work from home and have a large back yard so I can walk/let your pups out all day long, and give them a great space to play and roam in. I work from home Monday-Friday, so I am available from dawn til dusk, and am also available on weekends to handle all of your pet care needs. We have a 2k sq ft home, a fenced backyard, and two cats. If I am boarding I am available to walk/feed your animals morning through night, and they will have a large yard to roam and be free in. In warmer and colder weather your animals will be inside, in either AC, or heating. Whatever the weather is feeling that day. I can walk/feed your animals in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and can take them to parks as needed. I have reliable transportation, and am a dutiful pet lover who is extremely attentive and in tune to animals.

I offer a wide range of flexible services, including dog walking, daytime care, overnight stays in my home, transportation to appointments, dog park visits, and longer outings such as hikes. I’ve owned and cared for both small and large dogs my entire life and have regularly helped friends and family with walking, overnight care, and extended stays over the years. I have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who are fully vaccinated and receive regular care at Silverado Veterinary Hospital. They are accustomed to interacting with other dogs and people, and dogs can join us for social outings or enjoy individual care depending on temperament and your preference. I also understand the trust involved in leaving your dog with someone else — I’ve used Rover myself when traveling and know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. “Emma is such a sweet lady, always on time, very responsible and gave us plenty of updates both photos, videos and texts! Very responsive and easy to talk to. And my dog loved her, she was clearly very excited every morning when it came to the scheduled time we arranged for Emma to pick her Ik and take her in her walk. Dogs don’t lie and my dog was ecstatic to see Emma. We could not have done our trip without her, we’re very grateful and I think we’re going to have to schedule with her more regularly so my dog doesn’t get depressed. I'm currently working from home in American Canyon and am available during the days to care for your pup! While mainly open to walking and drop in visits, I can consider home stays for dogs I get more comfortable with. I tailor my care to each doggy’s needs and service as requested. For dog walking, I typically do 30-minute walks in the park, but can adjust based on the dog's breed, energy level, and personality!

About: My name is Marjorie the leader of the pack and doggy mommy of Leon and Luke. My border collie mix is my first baby he’s 1 yr and 5 months now I got hime when he was a puppy. The pittbull mix has recently joined the pack and he is nothing but sweet and obedient. I am a California Registered Nurse, a NICU and Infusion nurse. I love being around animals, my doggies are my therapist. Dog sitting will be my way of therapy during my days off from the toxic life of the medical field. I have trained my dogs myself basic obedience skills and have taught them to be bilingual. On days that am not tending to human needs. I will be at home tending on doggy needs. Doggies will definitely have quiet time, play time on their own or with other dogs they will of course have the same feeding time routines in my household I have fenced back yard. There will be avalable crates in the garage to accommodate crate trained doggies or needs crate training. You also can bring your baby doggy’s own crate. Bringing their food and treats are mandatory as I will not have an idea how sensitive their tummy could be.

She was very responsive and enthusiastic about taking care of Willa (our little monster.) I’m so used to picking up Willa from sitters expecting she’ll be dirty, her fur attracts anything and everything, that usually I’ll end up giving her a bath. But this time was different. We are so surprised how clean she was considering all the walks and dog park trips she did. I would definitely bring Willa back to Kasandra for any of our dog sitting needs. Highly recommend!!”
