About: I like to walk the dogs daily around the Atascadero Lake. I have a decent size fenced backyard with room to run and use my poop scooper daily. I am retired and looking for things to do during the week (mon-Fri) to fill my days. I have always loved the company of dogs and love to take them on daily walks. I have a dog bed in my bedroom, where your dog would sleep at night. The dogs water bowl is always kept clean and fresh. The dogs would always be welcome to hang out in the house with me, too.

About: I love all kinds of animals! My first cat followed me home in kindergarten, and I got my first dog at 11. I nursed her through cancer during college and she died in my arms in 2022. I currently have 6 pets (5 rescues) — 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 rabbits! I spend my free time training them, loving them, and proving enrichment. I have plenty of experience from the puppy age to senior care, and everything in between. I work full time Monday through Friday, but am free on the weekends to stay home with your pups! Her communication was professional and her availability flexible. Let me tell you... Amanda's place is an absolute wonderland for an adventure dog. She has a ton of property for your dog to run around on ... and animals galore! Our husky (Myth) got to meet horses, donkeys, ostriches, cats, chickens ... and more! This was an amazing experience for him (as a city dog that only gets to play with other dogs at the dog park). I can't imagine another scenario where he would have got to interact and play with such a diverse array of animals. Amanda clearly knows how to handle animals as well. She briefed us on her background training and handling all sorts of different animals and then backed it up with hourly videos showing us a new trick she had taught Myth - or a fun picture/video of Myth playing with one of her other animals (shoutout to her new dog Anakin who is an absolute good boy and new best friend of Myth's). She even asked us if it was okay to take Myth to the dog park. Her communication during Myth's stay helped us relax while out and about. She is clearly an animal lover to the core. If I'm being honest I'm pretty sure Myth would have been happy to stay on Amanda's ranch forever. 10/10 experience ... and her rate is super reasonable for the amazing experience your dog is going to get under her care. About: I believe that pets aren't just pets. They are one of us, making them a big part of our families. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. My cats are usually out of sight until they are hungry. We have dog gates to keep everyone safe. I have a large fenced yard and a daughter who loves animals. We are a very dog friendly family. I can walk dogs, help to potty train, help with basic obedience, crate train, take to dog parks, even come and clean litter boxes and feed cats! My dogs are crate trained and sleep in their crates when we are not home. My dogs get to be on the couch and bed with us. We do not leave them outside when it is too hot or too cold, but they do love to lay in the sun. Pet care fits great with my schedule, as taking care of my family is my number one priority. Working a 9 to 5 job just doesn’t fit in with my daily life. Pet care is fun, unique, and never the same! I have a fenced backyard. I would never leave your pet outside unattended. There is an enclosed fenced locked area here that I am able to access to allow the dogs to run and play off leash. It’s not a dog park so there will not be other dogs there. It’s basically a private area and the all the dogs love it! It’s about 75 yards in length & approximately 20 feet wide . All grass. We also take walks to the pool where there’s a rock jacuzzi and lots of grass around the pool. Dogs are welcome to be there with me on their leash and they all seem to really enjoy it . Your dogs safety is my priority.

About: I like to walk the dogs daily around the Atascadero Lake. I have a decent size fenced backyard with room to run and use my poop scooper daily. I am retired and looking for things to do during the week (mon-Fri) to fill my days. I have always loved the company of dogs and love to take them on daily walks. I have a dog bed in my bedroom, where your dog would sleep at night. The dogs water bowl is always kept clean and fresh. The dogs would always be welcome to hang out in the house with me, too.

About: I have traveled a lot in the past and as a dog owner I understand the need for reliable and affordable dog care. As a teacher I have the summer off, so I am home most of the time right now and would love to offer that care to your furry friend. I have a house with a fenced in backyard and a wonderful 10-year-old husky mix who plays well with small-to-large sized dogs. I live with my husband who will be home in the evenings and on weekends, but I will be the only one providing care. If your dog(s) are friendly with other dogs, I look forward to hosting them! Meal times are usually 7:30 am and 6:30 pm. Walks in the am or pm depending on the heat. A fenced in backyard means your pup can let themselves out whenever they need relief. My husband and I have a house with an 8-foot fence and a friendly husky mix to keep your dog(s) company. Our dog is a lover of trash, so we are very careful to keep food out of reach and the trash can locked.
