About: I have always loved being around dogs. I used to have one of my own before moving away from my parents’ house. Before moving, I taught my dog a few tricks like sitting, giving me her paw, lying down, not pulling on the leash, and staying in one place. I loved her very much and cared for her as if she were my child, so it won’t be hard for me to care for and love your dog as my own. I have always grown up around dogs, no matter their size or breed. Although I’m not a mom, I tend to have a strong maternal instinct when I’m around them. I currently am going to college and am not working any other job so I am pretty flexible on scheduling at the moment. Right now I only have afternoon classes and there is a good gap in between them where I could fit in a walk. I am also completely open on the weekend Friday through Sunday. When taking care of your pet I would make sure to be aware of how friendly your dog may be I don’t intend on having them be pretty close to other dogs as I can’t predict how nice or reactive the other dogs may be. I would make sure to have water and treats on me as well as monitor how tired your dog may be

About: I've had cats since I was 5. My grandparents also has a farm so I have lots of experience with farm cats and feral cats. I've also worked for 10+ years with a local rescue, raising kittens only days or weeks old until they are old enough to be fixed and adopted - feeding them milk on a regular schedule and then weaning them onto wet food, then dry food, also teaching them how to be a cat by interacting with my cats. I'm extremely protective of my pups and was worried about leaving them, but once I met Lynn and saw how she was with my little guys and with her own "babies", and how secure her yard was, I felt completely at ease and comfortable leaving them in her care. I didn't bring their food with me because we weren't leaving them overnight and they won't eat when we're not there. She made them chicken! which of course they ate right up. This woman LOVES dogs. About: I’m an experienced pet and farm sitter. I’ve taken care of other peoples animals, ranches and farms (chickens, cows, horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, dogs, bunnies and cats) for over 10 years. My clients are now primarily dogs and cats, but I am experienced and open to accepting all animals! I have experience with live-stock guardian pets, reactive animals, high energy pets, and pets that just want to relax all day. I am comfortable and familiar with animals who have anxiety, boundary reactivity, resource guarding issues, behavioral issues, puppies, senior animals and so much more. I’ve worked in shelters, on farms, and in training for over 10 years. Your animals will be treated just like my own-with love, respect and understanding! I am typically unavailable Tuesdays and Thursdays, but always feel free to ask about a particular Tuesday or Thursday and I may be able to schedule with you. Sadly, I lost all my clients and contacts save one in the Camp Fire as my client base was in Paradise and Magalia. Since then, I have taken care of my own little furbabies and ever so often cared for the Chihuahua/Pug/Terrier mix of the one remaining client from Paradise. Within the years that I was actively pet sitting, I took care of dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to Whippets. I am excited to once again assist you with your pet sitting needs and ensure the best attention is given to your dog’s health, happiness, and well-being! For my clients in Paradise and Magalia, I did both drop-ins and overnight stays. (My favorite memory was staying with two little lovely Dachsies for three weeks!) I made sure each pet I took care of was fed as per the instructions given to me and that they had access to fresh, clean water. Whether it’s maintaining a regular meal routine or making sure your pet stays hydrated throughout the day, I prioritize comfort and health for all furbabies in my care. I also have experience administering medications, whether oral or topical, and am dedicated to ensuring your pets specific medical needs are met with precision and care. I know personally the importance of a vet's instructions and the proper maintenance of a consistent medication routine. I also know the importance of exercise in keeping a pet happy and healthy. My schedule has changed and is more open during the work week. I currently have a day job between the hours of 12:30PM and 2:30PM, Monday through Friday. My hours can be flexible with this day job. I am available early morning and some evenings during the work week. My schedule changes, on occasion, in the evenings Monday through Friday. My weekends are fully free and am available for pet sitting, dog walking and drop-ins all day on Saturday and Sunday. For any pet in my care, whether it has been a client's pet or my own, I have always ensured that they have gotten plenty of love and quality care. For past clients, I adhered to all instructions given pertaining to feeding time, exercise and medications if applicable. About: It’s like camp for dogs! Your dog can have a great vacation too. We know how important it is to have the fury family taken care of in order to relax while on vacation. We have always had our own pets and we have taken care of other peoples furry family members for years, We have fostered for Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue for the last 25 years. If your pup is used to sleeping on a dog bed, or on the couch, or with people, they can do the same here with us. We won’t change the rules on them. We are well-versed in taking care of dogs with special needs or just simply providing TLC. When we have had fosters, we helped pups recover from surgery, given medications, adjusted pups to family life, trained and more. We just lost our sweet pup Cooper so we don’t have any pets at our house. This might be helpful if you have a dog that likes people all to themselves or if you have multiple dogs. Walks, car ride (wind in their hair) treats, playtime, attention, lounging in the fenced yard are all available. About: I have always loved being around dogs. I used to have one of my own before moving away from my parents’ house. Before moving, I taught my dog a few tricks like sitting, giving me her paw, lying down, not pulling on the leash, and staying in one place. I loved her very much and cared for her as if she were my child, so it won’t be hard for me to care for and love your dog as my own. I have always grown up around dogs, no matter their size or breed. Although I’m not a mom, I tend to have a strong maternal instinct when I’m around them. I currently am going to college and am not working any other job so I am pretty flexible on scheduling at the moment. Right now I only have afternoon classes and there is a good gap in between them where I could fit in a walk. I am also completely open on the weekend Friday through Sunday. When taking care of your pet I would make sure to be aware of how friendly your dog may be I don’t intend on having them be pretty close to other dogs as I can’t predict how nice or reactive the other dogs may be.
