From the start, communication was great and it was clear that Maverick was in very capable and caring hands. Marium made sure he was comfortable, well-exercised, and given plenty of attention and affection. One thing we especially appreciated was how well she handled Maverick on walks. He can sometimes show aggression toward other dogs, but Marium was very patient, attentive, and confident managing those situations. It was clear she understood how to keep him calm and safe, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. We also loved receiving updates and photos while we were away. It was obvious that Maverick felt relaxed and happy in her care. When we picked him up, he was calm, well cared for, and clearly had a positive stay. She’s a social girl and doesn’t like to be alone in a room by herself so we were hoping this would be the right fit. The fact that both Robby and his wife have a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs also helped since we knew Indy has separation anxiety. However, we received many updates and were glad to hear she was doing so well. With my vet experience, I can spot subtle signs of illness, can give eye drops, oral medication, and injectable medications. Working at a vet hospital also means I worked with a wide array of different dog (and cat!) breeds and temperaments. Special accommodations can be made to ensure everyone’s safety (within reason). I am familiar with the more stubborn and hard headed breeds, even owning some of them in the past. I also have basic obedience training knowledge, so I can help with puppy training. I of course love all pets, but I have a special place in my heart for senior pets! You can guarantee patient and gentle care will be provided to them. I live in Galt and have been driving all the way to the Greenhaven/Pocket area in the mornings before work (in Elk Grove) for daycare. During our meet and greet I got to see her very well kept home and her two adorable little girls who did very well with my big excited puppy. She sent pictures of Drake romping around her yard and playing with another dog who is currently being boarded with her. She was honest with me letting me know any behaviors that she had to correct and I’m thankful that she is knowledgeable in dog behavior. I lost both of my doggos to old age a little over a year ago and although I cannot bring myself to adopt anymore pets, I would love to have some fur babies around the house. I currently work from home, which makes potty breaks easy. My evenings and weekends are available to spend time with your fur baby. I am a huge animal lover, as I did grow up on a farm. My childhood dogs were mainly German shepherds. I’m very familiar with large breeds, and find them to be the most loving. Small animals are fun and usually love cuddles, so it’s a win/win for me. Although I do you live in a two bedroom townhouse I have access to a very large lawn, plenty of shaded play area with a fenced in yard if it is too hot out to walk on cement.
