About: I grew up with dogs. I have been living in a house now with 4 Shih Tzus ranging from 1.5 years old up to 16. I've gone through potty training all the way to eye drops. I am also owned by 5 cats so I am well versed in litter boxes and finicky eaters. I work full time Saturday through Wednesdays from 7am to 3pm. My housemate and partner works Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. There is almost always someone home to take care of the dogs. It is no issue for me to stop by before and after work for potties and so on. I am pretty much a low key person so hanging with the fur kids is about as exciting as I get. When I am sitting in someone's house I like to spend time with the pet. I make sure that when I leave the house I secure the doors, windows, etc. I am respectful of belongings and space. I like to make the fur kids feel like nothing is all that different as much as possible. If I'm just dropping in for walks/potty time I like to spend time with them for their comfort and stimulation. I'll make sure water is refreshed and food is full and boxes are emptied.

I have large and extra-large crates dedicated to clients' dogs. NOTE: I always recommend supplying a blanket, sweater or something with familiar scents to your dog for the sake of their acclimation and comfort during their stay. 1 photo update (around 2pm) of your happy fur baby per day! If more frequent photos are desired, please don't hesitate to ask! Photo update includes a picture and any relevant information about your dog's health and wellness (are they eating/drinking normally, did they get a cut on their foot during play and how did I treat it, etc.). Disclaimers: It is required that your pup/pups be on flea/tick medication at the time of boarding/daycare. In the event of a health emergency, there are animal hospitals close to me, however they have conventional hours of operation. As a result, outside conventional hours, I would be required to take a trip to Chico, CA where there is a 24-hour animal hospital. NOTE: An emergency contact is required. Wind-down times are in place before bedtimes, though there’s rarely been an animal that wasn’t exhausted after a good day here!

About: As a child I grew up with Great Danes, along with pit bulls, Rottweilers, Lhasa apsos, pugs, and many more. Animals have always had the biggest spot in my heart and always will. I’ve taken care of all sorts of pets from dogs and cats to horses and cows. Almost 30 years later, I am still dog obsessed and run a small family breeding program as well as a School for breeders. I often work 4 days a week so I have the long weekends to pet sit.
