“Bleu had the best time with Sylvia! They walked, they snuggled, they ate. She provided the perfect staycation for our furball. Sylvia was responsive, thorough, and cared for our dog as if he were her own. We will absolutely book with her again, and recommend her to anyone needing dog sitting in the Arnold/Murphys/Sonora/Sierra Foothills area.”

“Gina is fantastic. She truly love dogs and goes out of her way to make sure they are comfortable. Her place is wonderful and has ample fenced outdoor space with shade and trees. It's a great environment and she even sent my dog home with a toy she had grown attached to. I'd go back without hesitation.”

“Angie was so sweet and my dog Teddy loved her! We used Angie when my husband and I were visiting Yosemite from LA and she was in such a convenient location. Angie let me husband and I come morning and night to see Teddy and also cooked him special meals when he didn’t eat the food we packed for him. Teddy loved Angie’s 2 poodles as well and they got along great. Thanks so much Angie!!!”

“Gabby was a great sitter for my dog. I was very comfortable the whole time I was on vacation. She provided updates with photos and it was great to know that her dog is friendly and got along well with mine. Thank you!”

“Would highly recommend!! Communication was superb and my doggies were treated like additional members of the family. I received lots of pictures and updates that made me feel confident that they were in great hands and enjoying themselves!! Will definitely be using again ❤️🫶”

“Angelica was very nice and took great care of our pups. She allowed them to sit with her on the sofa and gave them so much love that I think Lily wanted to stay with her :)”

“Stella and her family took great care of my puppy during his extended stay. He became very close with her family, made friends with her dogs, and took many leisurely walks in her backyard. He had a great time and seems like he even became more easygoing and outgoing after we came home. I would highly recommend her!!”

“Elizabeth was a lifesave when I needed someone to watch my Ava last minute. Super kind and friendly she sent me plenty of updates and photos of Ava. I would definitely re book again :) Highly Recommended!”

I am currently going to school online and working remotely as well, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your fur children. I personally have a husky mix myself who is very friendly. Since my schedule is so flexible, I am able to go on as many walks as you wish with your dog, either alone of with my own dog. I have a fenced yard and one male dog who is neutered and very friendly. Because my dog is a husky, I am used to staying out in the yard and supervising him so your dog won’t be left out in the yard alone.I also have a crate that can be used to crate my dog or yours if need be. I’m very flexible and open to whatever sleeping arrangements you are most comfortable with for your pet.

I will love your tiny babies as much as I love mine. I will keep their litter boxes clean and tidy, vacuum up litter around the house regularly, and keep everything in tip top shape.
“Karen was wonderful with our girls. One of them usually hides when new people are in the home, but with Karen she quickly became comfortable! We are very thankful for Karen and knew our girls were in excellent hands while we were gone.”

“Hayley was an amazing sitter! She checked in on my cats twice while I was away and took such great care of them. She was extremely communicative throughout the booking process and check-ins, and she was willing to come by for a meet and greet beforehand, which gave me peace of mind. She even went above and beyond to fix one of my finicky microchip cat feeders during a drop-in. It was so nice to know that my cats were well taken care of. I'd highly recommend booking with Hayley the next time you need a pet sitter!”

About: While the 4 cats in my home do not belong to me, but my mother, I have helped many times with litterbox, and cutting nails. While I do not have experience with more special things, like administering medication or bathing, I am more than willing to sit with your baby, make sure they are safe and dont get into any trouble around your home. I adore cats just as much as dogs, and I love playing with them. If you need a sitter to just make sure their litterbox is cleaned and they are fed and watered, I'm your guy.
About: I have always had the responsibility of caring for my own animals, but I love getting to help other people care for their pets. I love meeting new animals and have lots of experience in this area. I have been walking dogs around my neighborhood since I was about 10 years old. I loved this experience which is why I have decided to dedicate myself to this line of work so I can always be available to help an animal in need. Currently I work an evening shift at a restaurant 4 nights a week so I have the day open before 5 pm Friday through Monday and Tuesday Wednesday Thursday I am completely available. My schedule also will be opening up more soon. I have a very large area for dogs to run around and two very friendly dogs of my own. I always start by making sure the space is free of any hazards, like toxic plants or loose wires and that they have a cozy spot just for them. Building trust is key, so I take things slow, using positive reinforcement like treats and praise to create a bond. Whether it's playtime or just chilling, I'm all about keeping their routine consistent to minimize stress.

About: I’ve been trusted with every sort of pet from a tiny lizard to a giant horse. I also have years of experience working in a veterinary hospital and providing care to young and old pets. I currently work as a Behavioral therapist for kids with autism. I don’t start my work day until 12 pm and have plenty of time in between clients to care for your sweet animals. With a flexible schedule and plenty of time before and after work I can ensure all pets will get the time and care they deserve. I have a big fenced yard that my dog freely runs in. Where I also take my bunny and cat on frequent walks. All of my pets are very friendly and love the company of other animals.

“Not enough words to express how great Trevor is with our pets!!! Our kitty Joy positively loves Trevor! We have an older cat that does come out to say hi to him. Trevor plays with the “girls” a lot. He has such an animal spirit and our girls are so calm when we come home. For 3 days our Joy kitty kept waiting at the window for him to come back!! Trevor takes pictures at “play time” and sends them on to us!!! Very helpful:-) Joy escaped once when Trevor was here. Now, I’m the ONLY ONE she’ll come to and he found her and let her lead him home!! Joy won’t even do that for my husband! If you want peace of mind when you leave for a trip Trevor is the right person. So conscientious and so aware of your animal and its needs. He will be our forever “cat man”. So much appreciation for him.”
“Susan was amazing and I highly recommend her. Not only did she create a special bond with my cat, but she also took care of my house while I was away on vacation. She played with my cat and made sure he had love, food, and a clean potty and treated him like her own pet. While at the house she also noticed that my plant needed watering and that there were ants in the house. She took action and didn't even think twice about using her own ant baits to help with an issue at my house. I am so glad she is there when I need her to take care of my cat.”

“I couldn't be happier with Jef and his time spent with my dog - Jax was clearly happy and content when we got home from our trip. Jef was responsive, flexible when I changed things up a bit, and I absolutely recommend him to other pet owners. I'll be contacting him next time we head out without our pup.”

“Emily watched my dog Prince while my family and I went to the lake at Twain Harte. She was amazing! The original time I had proposed didn't work, but she was very accommodating for a later drop off time. Thanks to her my family and I were able to go to the lake (where there are no dog allowed), and I had peace of mind the whole time. Thank you, Emily!”

About: Between growing up with cats and dogs, a parrot, horses, rabbits, and a tortoise, working with dogs in 4-H, showing my dog at the fair in the highest level of obedience, loving and caring for puppies, senior, blind, and deaf dogs, pet sitting for my neighbors and community members growing up, and working with clients through Rover doing drop in visits for walks, play time, feeds, and overnight house sits as well, I've become a well rounded animal caretaker and lover. Back at home after 9 months of traveling Asia, I am currently a free bird when it comes to scheduling, so please reach out with any requests for assistance meeting your pet care needs. With much TLC, tender loving care is how I care for pets. Additionally, I love for animals to be outside and so do I. My old dog and I used to go on so many hikes and swim in all of the creeks, having so much fun playing in the mountains. Despite enjoying dogs free of leashes, when I am walking dogs, I like to walk them on-leash as risk management to prevent unpredictable bad situations from arising.

“When we dropped Finley off with Elizabeth she was, of course, nervous to be in a new place with someone she didn’t know. When we picked her up, out walked a calm, happy pup. Appreciated the pictures we received while we were away. Would definitely recommend Elizabeth!”

“Linda was ready to take care of our pups when we arrived. She has tons of experience with many dogs and we felt at peace leaving our two there for the day while we went to see the Sequoias. If we come back to the area and need a sitter again we will certainly contact Linda!”

“Excellent! Tallulah was out like a light for the rest of the evening. Sabrina was very caring and kept me posted all day. Her visits will definitely be a regular thing. ❤️”

“Wow! So thankful that I found Kinny to take care of Faith while we were exploring Yosemite. Faith loves Kinny - she was so excited when we dropped her off for a 2nd day and I could tell that Faith was well cared for. Kinny kept us updated throughout the day and could tell that Faith was having a great time. Highly recommend!”

About: Allow me to love on your pups and kitties (or other critters!) to fill the creature quotas in my life, as well as work with you on what will be most effective in caring for them. Cuddles and positive reinforcement are very important to me. Since 2013 I have had the pleasure of being professionally involved in caring for several animals and reptiles (some with special needs). I began nannying and housekeeping for a wonderful family in Seattle, and my duties included the regular care of two high energy pups, and one had special needs toward the last year of her life, requiring daily medications. When that family stopped needing full-time care, I began working for a local company as a dog walker and sitter. I have since worked with dozens of families both on and off of this company, so please reach out with any questions or concerns about the care of your furry friends. I quit my day job in June 2021 and have been doing strictly petsitting ever since. I am working toward finding my own path in the pet care industry, as well as building up for major traveling adventures. Until then, I look forward to continuing to do this work, as it is very rewarding, and fulfilling. I value communication and empathy with animals. I first learn about any pet or livestock before approaching unless spoken about beforehand! I will treat them like they are mine, with structure and much much love.
“Amazing care! Rex fell in love with Katherine and her family. Katherine was very friendly and her family embraced Rex as their own. We would definitely leave Rex in this home again!!! He enjoyed being with children as well as their dog and cats!”

“Jamie is amazing!! First time using Rover and had the best experience. She is so sweet and I could tell she is very passionate about animals. My husband and I dropped off our puppy coco for a few hours to help socialize him and she sent us updates and made us feel very comfortable throughout our time away from him. We booked last minute and she was great about being able to get him in. She also gave us a goodie bag at pickup with treats and a toy! So thoughtful. Definitely book her!”

About: Hi, I grew up around several different animals of all sizes from rodents/reptiles to livestock/dogs. I have always had at least one dog in my life at all times. The more the merrier. I love all animals big and small. I worked at a kennel where I learned about boarding and training dogs for about a year and I have pet sat for about 15 years in grand total. I currently work at a pet store in Sutter Creek. I love being around dogs and training or even just hanging out and playing. I am a outdoorsy person. I have experience with livestock animals also. Horses, cattle, chickens, Lhamas, mini animals, donkeys. I have references also if you would like them. Our home is completely fenced and sits on 3 acres. We have two friendly german shepherds. I work part time so some days I am gone at work. But our 17 year old daughter is always home. We also go to church Sunday morning so we would be gone for a couple hours but otherwise we are always home. I care for pets in my home as I would my own. I have 3 German Shepherds. 10 months to 7 years old. As for in home pet sitting I would follow whatever routine you have set for your fur babies already so it would be easier on them.

About: Hello! My name is Hayley, I have grown up with a wide array of animals my whole life. From scaly, to feathery, to fluffy, to even the hairless ones (they deserve love too!) - I will be able to care for pets from itty bitty to large! I have 2.5 years of experience in a professional field working with animals, and it has allowed me to be fully comfortable judging animal behavior. I trust myself working with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments. I will say though, senior dogs have a way at pulling at my heartstrings the most. ❤️ I have experience administering medication for dogs and cats, even the ones who would rather not be getting medication from a stranger. I will absolutely let you know if I think I am incapable to meet your needs, to not risk anything. The safety and happiness of your beloved pet is the top priority. Photos, videos, updates galore - I will be sure to update you as much as you need to know that your furry friend is in safe hands! What sets me aside from other sitters is the attention to detail I care about in making sure your space is respected while I'm there. I will make my best effort to make it look like I wasn't even there, despite staying with your furry friend(s) the whole time! My schedule changes around often so I'll try to fit you in wherever I can! I'm newer to Rover, but not new to sitting/drop-ins. I'm currently marking my booked days as "unavailable" since I have clients I work with outside of Rover. Regardless of what the calender says, please feel free to reach out to me and I'll see if I can make things work! I will not be offering my own home for pet sitting, but I am willing to pet sit at yours! I believe in keeping your pets routine as close as possible to normalcy, so they can get comfortable with me in their space while you're gone. I require a visit beforehand before any service to meet you and your pet(s) and to discuss their routine! If you want any training/walks, please express that and we will talk and I will be sure to meet your expectations!
About: My own dog, Zeus, who was a German Shepard, had developed hip dysplasia in his elder years. He passed in 2024 but in his last years of life I learned to properly administer his two medications, and was able to trick him into taking them when he was stubborn, which was all of the time. I cleaned up after him while my parents were away and sat with him when he was anxious, which again, was all of the time. I took him on walks when he was younger and was able to handle his strength. I adore dogs and understand the stress of leaving a special needs dog by themselves. If you need a calm energy for your senior dog, or playfulness for your puppy, I'm your guy. At the moment I am still looking for a full or part time job, so my days and nights are completely open for those who need a sitter. I will care for your dog by first making sure they have their nessecities, food, water, medication, and a bathroom break. If we go on a walk I will make sure their harness and leash are secure, and am willing to walk however long your dog wishes to walk. When we come back to your home I will make sure he is uninjured, no issues with the feet or body if we go to a dog park. I am willing to do anything and everything to ensure the safety and health of a dog.
About: As an animal lover and caretaker over the past 40 years, I have experience raising dogs through all ages of life from puppies to seniors & deaf dogs, as well as cats, and farm animals. This love for animals began even before I was a high school 4-H and FFA student working with large farm animals, growing up with cats and dogs. As a pet-sitter for others, I have cared for many kinds of animals in addition to cats and dogs. I was the Dog Leader for the Murphys 4-H for 7 years and assisted the kids in training their dogs to show at the fair. While I have experience training animals, I also love to offer them tender loving care, spending quality time with them, and being their friend. It is important to me that dogs and humans both enjoy play and joy in their days, so I am happy to offer this for your pets when you cannot be there. I currently have a very open schedule, so I am most available to meet your pet care needs. Reach out to schedule a meet and greet at your convenience. When caring for pets as a sitter, I respect both your space and your pets. While I am walking others' dogs, I feel best with on-leash walks, and I will clean up after them. I also always provide animals with fresh clean water during my visits and routine caretaking. I like to keep the home and pets clean, safe, and comfortable while you are away.
About: I grew up on a ranch, so I have extensive experience with all types of birds, horses, goats, cats, and dogs. I’ve house/pet sit for family and friends over the years. I have one fur baby of my own that stays with my parents when I’m not home. Dogs are the sweetest animals to walk this earth, change my mind. I work three days a week traveling, so I typically have 4 days a week available. Can travel in the Calaveras and Tuolumne county areas. My schedule give me the flexibility to check in with your pet throughout the day. Unfortunately, I don’t offer pet sitting for my house as I live with friends. I’m happy to take care of your pet in the comfort of their own home/ safe space. I am ever vigilant on walks and take into account things like daily temperature when scheduling or planning walks/outings.
About: Hello! I’ve been house/pet sitting for around 5 years now. I have experience with a variety of animals at all stages of life. I will follow your directions to the letter and care for your babies as if they were my own. I have had pets since I was five until recently. I currently am looking to add clients for pet care. Let’s chat and see if we mesh! I currently do gigs, mostly pet sitting, right now for income. So thats where my focus is these days! I take daily walks and would be sure to bring your baby with me! I am getting into grooming to add as a service to my clients. Currently I do not have any pets myself. My parents do have a dog and when I am there I take him out for walks and runs, brush him, love on him. I would follow your directions as to how to care for the baby animals.
“Kenneth is amazing with my pets. My dog takes a while to warm up to new people, but warmed up to Kenneth immediately. Greatest pet sitter ever. I highly recommend this him. He is amazing with dog and cats and is always reliable. Provided great pics with his walks. So happy I found Kenneth to help, when I travel.”

“As reluctant as I was to allow a stranger to come into my home, I was that much more hesitant to allow a stranger to walk my three dogs, in the end I knew I had no other choice but to hire someone due to my work schedule. While searching I came across Jef’s profile and I decided to go with him in booking dog walking for my three dogs. Jef even came to meet my dogs before he was to begin walking them the following day. From the initial message to the first time meeting, Jef maintained great communication and updated me each day after their walks. Jef definitely has something about him that made my dogs very comfortable around him. He quickly gained their trust and vice versa. Jef is also very persistent and knowledgeable in training dogs and helping to improve any bad leash habits. I will definitely be booking Jef for any future needs and I would definitely recommend him to anyone with pets.”

About: I am a born and raised farm girl. I have taken care of all kinds of animals especially dogs and cats. I love to take them on walks around the neighborhood. I have a lot of experience in general care and would love to meet and care for your fur babies. I am currently a part-time student and work mainly online so I will have plenty of time to be with your pets and spend quality time playing/exercising. I have friendly fur babies here at home that would love to play with yours. I do happen to have one dog who isn't as friendly but he is always crated when other dogs are around so there is no worries in your pets getting hurt here. I assure you that they will get the best care and love here.
About: I have over 20 years experience taking care of other people’s “fur babies”. I love them like they are mine. I am very responsible, dependable, observant and able to handle any unexpected situations that might arise. I am self-employed and work part-time so I have a lot of availability. I have the ability (and desire) to give pets quality time and attention. Every pet is unique and their needs are different. Some pets prefer physical connection while others prefer having a ball thrown for them to chase. Like us, pets each have their own love language. I endeavor to “speak” love in the language each pet prefers.
About: Growing up with animals my entire life, I've branched out to caring for other's animals. From dogs, cats, snakes, and aquariums of all sizes, I am familiar with caring for all kinds of animals including those with special needs. I have worked with blind animals, those with complex medication routines, and those that needed physical therapy. I have also assisted in training animals with behavioral issues and prevented damage to homes while per owners are away. I also volunteer for the local FOAC in my free time. I'm a full time animal lover and would love the opportunity to take care of your furry family! I work full time but have the ability to work from home. I am especially available on weekends, evenings, and holidays. Simply book me and I'll make your schedule work for mine! I have stayed in homes for months at a time caring for animals while owners are on vacation. I am sure to be respectful of your privacy, sticking to specified areas, and focusing on my assigned job of caring for your furry family members. I prefer to leave everything clean and untouched after pet sitting, like I was never there. I am also very quiet with hobbies like crocheting and reading, being respectful of any surrounding neighbors.
About: I have had many years of housesitting experience with came with caring for pets. I have also worked at a pet store and handled bathing dogs.

She was a GREAT help in my time of need. God Bless You, Linda. Thank you Rover.”

About: I've been caring for animals for most of my life, and pets have always been cherished members of my family. Over the years, we've lovingly cared for dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, and guinea pigs, giving me experience with a variety of personalities and care needs. As a proud grandma with lots of energy, I understand that every pet deserves love, patience, and individual attention. Whether it's going for walks, playing fetch, giving belly rubs, keeping a regular feeding schedule, or simply providing companionship, I'll treat your pet as if they were my own. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your furry family member. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you're away, so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in caring hands. Since I'm retired, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your dog the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Daily walks are already part of my routine, so having a furry friend join me makes them even more enjoyable! Whether your dog enjoys an energetic stroll, a leisurely walk, or simply spending time with someone who loves animals, I'll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and included in my day. Your dog's safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities. I'll treat them like family, giving them lots of love, attention, and affection while they're in my care. My home has an open floor plan with plenty of space for pets to relax, play, and be part of the family. I also have a securely fenced yard where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time, fresh air, and play. I follow each pet's regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications (if needed), and plenty of affection. My goal is to provide a calm, clean, loving environment where your pet feels right at home while you're away, giving you peace of mind that they're being cared for like one of my own.
