“Sharon and Albert were fantastic hosts for Mushu. They sent frequent pictures and provided daily updates. Our pug went for a nice walk daily with them. Mushu was in good hands and had lots of fun staying with Sharon and Albert. They have a good front/backyard for the dogs to play in. They do take up to 4 doggies so it may get crowded. I recommend Sharon and Albert, and trust them to watch my PUG. There costs are higher than some others, but they do provide good service. Late pickups will require an extra night's stay.”

About: I have always had a pet dog throughout my life, so being around dogs feels natural to me. Taking care of them has been part of my daily routine, from feeding and walking them to making sure they are happy and healthy. Over time, I’ve learned how to understand their behavior and needs, which has helped me build a strong connection with them. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them. I work from home and love the challenge of some dogs. I wake up at 5 and feed my own dog and do some work. After I usually take him out for walks through the day. I walk him about 2 miles and can also walk your own dog, just tell me and I can do it. I can also follow any strict dietary restrictions if your dogs requires it for food. After around 3 I am free and spend time with my dogs all day after and chill with him beside me. But, if your dogs requires sheds a lot, I can’t promise he will be sleeping with me or be laying on the couch, I have a specialized ginormous dog bed for he/she. I live in El Dorado Hills, so it is very hilly in some areas, including my home. I have a big dog kennel outside that is surrounded by a fence, while I have a large dog cage inside my house that can also be used. I also have a area for the dogs to run and play in my backyard.

About: I have been in the pet food industry for three years, I used to leash train puppies, and I have been dog sitting/cat watching for three years as well. I have full availability on the weekends and have some flexibility during the week, specifically weeknights Monday through Thursday. I love doing check ins, walks, and housesitting. I respect peoples things, and appreciate when there are written instructions. I don’t do boarding because I have a Cat that does not do well in stressful environments. However, I am fine doing multiple check-in as long as it works for you and your pet.

I thoroughly enjoy walks, runs, hikes, and playing with him. I am a big dog person! I currently work part time and am home most of the time. I’m usually home a lot as most of my work can be done from home. The flexibility is very nice and works perfectly with having dogs in our home! We currently have our own dog and so caring for yours will fit naturally into the flow we already have going! I have a fenced yard, where my pup and yours can play as much as they want! Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

About: I have loved animals my whole life and have had many pets; dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, sheep and more. I thoroughly enjoy being with animals, loving and caring for them. Some of my first jobs were at animal clinics, where I learned a lot about caring for animals. I was in FFA as a youth, where I raised and showed sheep, and where I also learned a lot. In my younger years I had many horses. I learned how to care for them, feeding, exercising, and cleaning up after them, etc! I learned responsibility, in addition to a deep love of animals. All of my experiences with my own animals, have made me a knowledgeable, responsible and compassionate animal care provider. I am currently semi-retired from working in the hospitality industry. I have plenty of time and I would thoroughly enjoy taking care of your beloved pets. I have an adorable mini schnauzer, Dudley, and a domestic short hair cat, Pete. About: I have always had dogs/animals. We have 5 dogs of our own. We also foster with a local rescue. We specialize in the squish face breeds. We completely understand climate control. We love to exercise outside and go out often to romp. I am currently working remote part of the time (office days are Tues/Thurs). We typically always have someone home and the dogs are likely never alone for more than a 2-3 hour period. Our dogs are very friendly and love to play! We do not have a fenced yard, so our preference would be dogs that are not a flight risk! We can use a flexi leash for potty breaks but that would limit outside play for our guests. We live on 2.5 acres with a lot of grass to romp and play. Our dogs do not go outside unless supervised.
“We came into town from the Bay Area and wanted to do some whitewater rafting that wouldn’t allow dogs. Sara was kind of enough to watch our 12 pound shih tzu. Sara asked for his vaccinations records to make sure no dog would get sick, which was very reassuring to us. We felt very comfortable leaving him there and believe he had a lot of fun at her place playing with the other dogs. Sara checked in multiple times with updates and pictures and was very accommodating when we asked to pick him up an hour later than originally discussed. About: I have been a full-time puppy whelper for the past 8 years and come highly recommended with lots of references. I welcome all different breeds. I am always home. While I do have to pick up and drop off my children for their various sports and activities, it’s just a five minute drive away.I am always available. Plus, I’m attending school online from the comfort of my home. I live on 1 1/2 acres with a mini horse, two small goats that like to visit the neighbors and two potbelly pigs. Additionally I have two older French bulldogs who are house trained and very friendly, as well as two cane corsos who get along well with all animals including pony,goats, and pigs- they’re all pals! All of my animals are well-behaved , and I’ve often been told I should’ve been a vet or a dog trainer because of my love for animals. I have two separate backyards-one for the smaller dogs and one for the bigger ones. However I’m accustomed to rotating them due to my experience as a whelper. I know how to manage introducing new dogs and keeping them separate if needed.My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors, and they sleep in the house at night. I’ve set up set up my garage to be cozy and welcoming for dogs to stay in at night.

About: We love all animals and have been with Rover since 2015. We have two female miniature dachshunds, Daisy Mae and Poppy who are both very playful and friendly.. My husband and I have always felt a very strong connection with all animals. We couldn't imagine our life without them. They bring such unconditional love and companionship every day! We enjoy walking them every day and just hanging outside with them. Your fur babies will be given lots of affection and exercise and will go home happy. :) We are both home all day to watch over your pup.. We have a fenced garden area where the dogs love to run around in or they can just hang out and be mellow on our back deck. We also have a year round creek that runs through the back of our house where the dogs love playing in the water. Lots of chew toys, balls, treats and beds are included too! Your pup will sleep inside with us either on a bed, the floor, or if they are kennel trained, we can provide those as well. We provide daily texts, videos, and photos so you can have comfort knowing that your pup is safe and happy 😊 We look forward to meeting you! My husband and I work as a team and are both recently retired. We are home all day with the dogs and make sure they are happy and safe. :) We also are available for dog walking, drop in visits, and staying in your home to care for your pups during your absence. We take them all for daily walks, playtime, or just relaxing in a peaceful environment. We have two very friendly dogs they can play with or just hang out together. We feed them all two times per day unless otherwise needed. We want your fur babies to feel comfortable while you are away so we are compassionate to their needs. They all sleep indoors at night. About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up being surrounded by animals and they have always been a huge part of my life. I had my English Springer Spaniel, Beau, for 13 years and just recently adopted a Bearded Collie/Golden Lab mix puppy. I also have my two 6 year cats, Rupert and Carl. I am the manager of a winery but have a pretty flexible schedule-especially in the evenings. I'm off work on Mondays and Fridays and am able to leave work early, if necessary. I'm also available in the early morning before 10am. Since I have three animals of my own, and to not upset their environment, it would be best for me to go to clients' homes to feed and take care of their animals.

Mushu was in good hands and had lots of fun staying with Sharon and Albert. They have a good front/backyard for the dogs to play in. They do take up to 4 doggies so it may get crowded. I recommend Sharon and Albert, and trust them to watch my PUG. There costs are higher than some others, but they do provide good service. Late pickups will require an extra night's stay.”

About: I have always had a pet dog throughout my life, so being around dogs feels natural to me. Taking care of them has been part of my daily routine, from feeding and walking them to making sure they are happy and healthy. Over time, I’ve learned how to understand their behavior and needs, which has helped me build a strong connection with them. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them. I work from home and love the challenge of some dogs. I wake up at 5 and feed my own dog and do some work. After I usually take him out for walks through the day. I walk him about 2 miles and can also walk your own dog, just tell me and I can do it. I can also follow any strict dietary restrictions if your dogs requires it for food. After around 3 I am free and spend time with my dogs all day after and chill with him beside me. But, if your dogs requires sheds a lot, I can’t promise he will be sleeping with me or be laying on the couch, I have a specialized ginormous dog bed for he/she. I live in El Dorado Hills, so it is very hilly in some areas, including my home. I have a big dog kennel outside that is surrounded by a fence, while I have a large dog cage inside my house that can also be used. I also have a area for the dogs to run and play in my backyard.
