About: I have loved animals my whole life and have had many pets; dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, sheep and more. I thoroughly enjoy being with animals, loving and caring for them. Some of my first jobs were at animal clinics, where I learned a lot about caring for animals. I was in FFA as a youth, where I raised and showed sheep, and where I also learned a lot. In my younger years I had many horses. I learned how to care for them, feeding, exercising, and cleaning up after them, etc! I learned responsibility, in addition to a deep love of animals. About: I have been a full-time puppy whelper for the past 8 years and come highly recommended with lots of references. I welcome all different breeds. I am always home. While I do have to pick up and drop off my children for their various sports and activities, it’s just a five minute drive away.I am always available. Plus, I’m attending school online from the comfort of my home. I live on 1 1/2 acres with a mini horse, two small goats that like to visit the neighbors and two potbelly pigs. Additionally I have two older French bulldogs who are house trained and very friendly, as well as two cane corsos who get along well with all animals including pony,goats, and pigs- they’re all pals! All of my animals are well-behaved , and I’ve often been told I should’ve been a vet or a dog trainer because of my love for animals. I have two separate backyards-one for the smaller dogs and one for the bigger ones. However I’m accustomed to rotating them due to my experience as a whelper. I know how to manage introducing new dogs and keeping them separate if needed.My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors, and they sleep in the house at night. I’ve set up set up my garage to be cozy and welcoming for dogs to stay in at night.

We have a 12 x 24 kennel with multiple dog houses we have kennels of different sizes. We also have a barn with 12 x 12 stalls. We have a fenced in deck that is 30 x 50 so there are many opportunities for your baby to be outside in the fresh air And still be safe. If your dog is an inside dog, we will keep him inside with us and he will be warm and cozy at bedtime.

If your pup is used to sleeping on a dog bed, or on the couch, or with people, they can do the same here with us. We won’t change the rules on them. We are well-versed in taking care of dogs with special needs or just simply providing TLC. When we have had fosters, we helped pups recover from surgery, given medications, adjusted pups to family life, trained and more. We just lost our sweet pup Cooper so we don’t have any pets at our house. This might be helpful if you have a dog that likes people all to themselves or if you have multiple dogs. Walks, car ride (wind in their hair) treats, playtime, attention, lounging in the fenced yard are all available. We both work at home so pups don’t have to be alone and can have all of their needs met. Reach out and tell us about your furry family and what they might need while you’re away. We would be thrilled to have them. We can work our schedule around what you furry family needs. Since we Work at hime and there are two of us someone can always be here if needed. You can read our references but it might be best to come to the house to meet us and see for yourself. It’s important to feel comfortable so you can relax while you are away. We take extra measures to lock the latch on the gate and use a double door system if we go in and out of the house.

About: I grew up in a home filled with animals, so caring for furry family members has always come naturally to me. During the 7+ years I lived in Philadelphia, I taught at a large charter school and began house and pet sitting on the side for fellow teachers and staff. Over the years, I had the privilege of caring for so many sweet furry babies, including pets who needed extra attention, medication, and around-the-clock care. I truly grew attached to many of them and missed them dearly when my Philly chapter came to a close in 2024. Today, I proudly call Sacramento home and am excited to share that same love and care with a new community of pet friends! I ended up stuck in Reno due to a fire and them closing I-80 so I texted Emily and explained my situation and Emily was great she had no problems keeping Bo for another day. She sent me pics and videos of Bo having a great time at her house with her dogs. I was afraid Bo wouldnt want to come home with me cuz he was having such a good time. Which wasn't the case Bo was happy to see me when I picked him up, but im sure he is going to miss Emily and her family.”
