Hana can be very anxious and temperamental, but Lori exceeded our expectations and was able to form a bond with her quickly. We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”

About: I’ve cared for many pets over the years for family and friends, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I’m very attentive and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away. I follow routines closely, whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just giving them attention and companionship. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure they’re happy, clean, and cared for. Right now I have a very flexible schedule, so pet sitting fits easily into my daily routine. I’m able to be available most times of the day, which allows me to give pets the time, attention, and care they deserve. Since my schedule isn’t packed, I can focus on making sure each pet is comfortable, safe, and well taken care of while their owners are away. When I’m caring for pets at home, I make sure they get plenty of food, fresh water, exercise, and attention throughout the day. I take them on at least two or three walks during the day and make sure they get lots of playtime so they stay active and happy. I also keep their space clean, make sure feeding schedules are followed, and give them plenty of attention so they feel comfortable. At night I make sure they have a safe, comfortable place to sleep and that they’re settled in for the night. In the morning I repeat the routine by checking their food and water, taking them out for a walk, and making sure they start the day happy and well cared for.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a little girl. I have always had dogs around me. When I was a teen, I started dog sitting and dog walking in my neighborhood. My dog Olive is super friendly, and loves being around other dogs. She is around 15 lbs. I have a cat who is friendly but does not want to do much with other dogs. He mostly stays away.

He passed away last May at the age of 14 after battling ongoing diseases/old age. We walked every day and he also had a big fenced garden to play in. I have a fenced yard half the yard is a kennel but the kennel stays open for full yard to roam. My pups are usually following me around the house all day so I try to keep them active with training and hikes or long walks. For smaller indoor dogs I will provide a comfortable environment indoors with their own separate kennel to sleep in at night making sure they are pampered and spoiled. My dogs are very gentle and friendly and socialized around different size dogs their whole lives. They also have their own area that they like and stay in that can be secured for added safety.

About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, and enjoy spending time with them. I truly love spending time with them and enjoy watching them. I am not currently working as of right now. I am pretty open with watching animals on weekdays or weekends, unless I am out of town or something comes up. Other than that, I am pretty free. I only care for pets in other people’s homes. I have fur babies of my own, but one of my dogs has anxiety issues being around other dogs she doesn’t know, so I prefer to watch your fur babies in the comfort of their own homes.

About: For a year I watched a family friends pugs there was 5 of them one of them being an old lady pug and one being only a few months while owners had to leave frequently on business trips. Many other family friends dogs as well (: I'd prefer a well detailed list from owner of what and how they'd like me to care for their pet or any other things they'd like for me to do regarding the pet. “Lori watched our dog Hana for four nights and we couldn’t be more pleased. Hana can be very anxious and temperamental, but Lori exceeded our expectations and was able to form a bond with her quickly. We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”

“This was our second time leaving our dog when we had to go out of town and our second time using Raquel’s services. She did amazing with Everest and he seems happy and healthy. She gave us daily pictures and notes on how he was doing. Our flight had gotten canceled at the end of our trip and we had to drive from Virginia back to San Diego and Raquel helped us instantly and kept Everest for a couple extra days so we could make it back home. If you need to board your dog I definitely recommend Raquel!”
