Hana can be very anxious and temperamental, but Lori exceeded our expectations and was able to form a bond with her quickly. We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”

About: Terrible headline but cats are my absolute most favorite animals. I’ve always had a cat growing up. And my childhood cat recently passed and I miss our bond every day. And now that I’ve moved out and cannot have pets here I’m truly missing out. I love my neighborhood cats though because that is the closest I’ll get to having my own. I’ve cleaned litter boxes for 10 years because that was my chore at my parents house so I’m very efficient I suppose in making sure cats are cared for aside from giving them attention. I also taught my cats to sit on command so maybe I can teach your cat that as well!

About: Being around dogs since childhood, I'm very sensitive to their needs. As a prior dog owner myself, I've dealt with several situations, in working with dogs during rehab, caring for a dog with special needs and adapting to senior care. I have also taken care of dogs for friends and coworkers. For the time being, my services come as a package deal. Please only book if your dog is for certain comfortable with toddlers. My child has been exposed to different dogs, including larger dogs such as a lab, and he knows to be respectful and give them their space. There will be no tail pulling, taunting or any other form of bullying permitted while we are with your pet, as we are to be gentle with all animals. For shorter drop-ins or walks I can have my child secured in a hiking backpack. Currently, I/we are best available for weekend sits, though weekend or evening walks and check-ins are also available. We are also available for longer stays if your pet is used to you being at work during the week. We'd love the opportunity to get puppy love when when possible. First and foremost, I understand that every pet is different, with unique needs, temperaments and personalities. Some are just fine while their owner is away, while others may display anxious behavior during this time. It is my goal that no matter what they experience, that they be as comfortable as possible. Of course I would be mindful of what your pets are and are not allowed... in my own experience, I was never one to give my dog human treats unless it was a very special occasion, so I can be respectful and understanding of any rules specific to your preference for your dog(s). I am happy to take them outside, drive them to a nearby park if that is something you are comfortable with, I think communication when it comes to your loved one is key.

My first dog was a schnauzer, and I cared for her all the way into her senior years, so I’m comfortable with both playful pups and older dogs who need extra patience and attentiveness. Fun fact: my mom owns a dog grooming shop in LA! I’ve worked a lot in the shop and have handled literally hundreds of pet dogs. After 15 years in corporate, I’m now a Business owner with flexibility in my schedule. I walk my own pet 3 times a day, and frequently take breaks to complete my put duties! At home, I pay attention to the dogs signals and adjust accordingly - are they happy? Nervous? Thirsty? Whining? I speak pretty good dog by listening. About: I've always had pets ever since I was very little, I adore all pets. I have had many, and currently have kitties and a puppy! I know a lot on how to care for them, and love playing with them to keep them happy and stimulated. I currently spend most of my time at home with my own pets, I occasionally babysit family as well. I love spending time outside, and hiking with my pets too! When I do in home care or check-ups I always want to make sure the pet is well taken care for so I always check their water, food, and let them go potty if it's a dog. About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 13 years and grew up with dogs my entire life! I’ve taken care over my family members dog when they’re out of town and each dog very different but i’m always able to gain their trust, be one of their companions and build a relationship that evolves into fun play dates and amazing walks to the park or around neighborhood. My dog who is a german shepherd, is now in her elderly stage meaning medication administration, short walks and feeding plays a huge part of her daily life. I have experience with all ages and personalities with pets and always have room to experience and meet all your loving pets! I’m currently transferring to SDSU at the end of August so my availability is limited for now for only pet walks but will change asap. I have a fenced yard with plenty of grass to run, relax and relief themselves with room to stretch their legs and sunbathe. I have a patio out their as well for them to lay on.

Hana can be very anxious and temperamental, but Lori exceeded our expectations and was able to form a bond with her quickly. We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”

About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life and genuinely love being around animals. My dog, Bearra, a Lab and German Shepherd mix, recently passed away after living an amazing 15.5 years. She was such a huge part of my life and taught me how important patience, love, exercise, and attentive care are for pets at every stage of life. As a teacher on summer break, I’m looking forward to spending more time outside doing something I truly enjoy, caring for and spending time with dogs. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I would love the opportunity to provide dependable, caring, and attentive service for both you and your dog. I am a teacher on summer break, so I currently have a very flexible schedule with my days, evenings, and weekends available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I enjoy being active and outside, so caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine and gives me the opportunity to spend time doing something I genuinely love. While I do not have a private yard, my complex has safe grassy areas for walks and bathroom breaks, and I enjoy taking dogs on walks around Coronado, Seaport Village, and Miramar Reservoir. I treat pets like family, so they are welcome on the furniture and will receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and care while they are with me.
About: I have raised and cared for a number of different breeds of dogs for most of my life. I also provided walking and and bathing services to friends and family on vacation from a young age. Currently a stay at home mom. All of my children are in school so I will be able to provide a consistent schedule that I know I can maintain.
