“Caring for geriatric dogs is never easy, and Lisa along with her son did a nice job over the recent holiday weekend. Although my Snuggles is a sweet pup, she doesn’t always go by the script - and Lisa did a nice job adapting. Snuggles sometimes resists taking her medication and is a bit of a loner, and when in the presence of other dogs and not in her familiar surroundings she becomes anxious and develops the shakes. I think what impressed me most was Lisa’s genuine concern for Snuggles’ care. We remained in constant contact each day with pictures of my little girl. It took a few days but Snuggles seems to have recovered. So while I wouldn’t be able to utilize Lisa’s services in her home again because of her other pet, I would definitely call on Lisa to stay with Snuggles in our home. About: Life long dog owner. Over forty years of experience with large active breeds. From rescue to training giving fur babies an active fun day. I currently have three well behaved German Shepherds that go on long daily walks on a leash or running free at dog beaches and hikes out in the open fields in Otay lakes. For smaller indoor dogs I will provide a comfortable environment indoors with their own separate kennel to sleep in at night making sure they are pampered and spoiled. My dogs are very gentle and friendly and socialized around different size dogs their whole lives. They also have their own area that they like and stay in that can be secured for added safety.

About: I've loved and have taken care of dogs my whole life. I'm naturally curious about them and believe there is no such thing as a bad dog. I am working toward becoming a canine trainer and am currently under apprenticeship. Caring for dogs is very rewarding for me and a true passion of mine. About: I’ve had experience taking care of my aunts dog while she does away to travel. The dog I care for is 6 years old. However I’ve taken care of one of my dogs since he was 6 weeks old and my other since he 7 months old. My schedule is open mostly during the week. Weekends I do work but have been able to work around my work schedule if needed. I do like an advanced notice but have taken requests last minute. I love meeting new furry friends cause they always remind me about my good soul or spirit. It makes me happy. Cats and dogs gravitate twords all the time. I have experience with dogs of all ages and many different breeds I am available to walk, board, or visit your dog all days of the week. I prefer to be notified at least a day in advance so I can properly schedule and prepare to care for your dog. I have a large backyard with clear space for the dogs to around and play. There is open space in the living room for dogs to relax, with room for dog beds or anything else they arrive with. This space is gated off from the rest of the house for safety. There’s enough room to separate the dogs from one another if they need space.

Since my schedule isn’t packed, I can focus on making sure each pet is comfortable, safe, and well taken care of while their owners are away. When I’m caring for pets at home, I make sure they get plenty of food, fresh water, exercise, and attention throughout the day. I take them on at least two or three walks during the day and make sure they get lots of playtime so they stay active and happy. I also keep their space clean, make sure feeding schedules are followed, and give them plenty of attention so they feel comfortable. At night I make sure they have a safe, comfortable place to sleep and that they’re settled in for the night. In the morning I repeat the routine by checking their food and water, taking them out for a walk, and making sure they start the day happy and well cared for.
