About: My dog recently passed away at the age of 16, so I am just trying to get my doggy fixes in. I would love if they could join me for a run or hike. I currently work full time at an office M-F but come home for lunch for an hour. But I can guarantee a morning, lunch and evening walk (or activity) I live in an adu apartment but have a big open backyard and don’t mind pets on furniture if you don’t mind them on furniture.

About: NEW TO ROVER, but not new to pet sitting! I’m offering a discounted introductory rate while I build my Rover profile. Dogs stay in my home as part of the family, with a fully fenced half-acre yard, dog door, two friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and lots of room to run, sniff and explore. I keep the number of visiting dogs small so they can settle into our normal household routine rather than a kennel environment. I also only take well-behaved small and medium dogs vetted via meet-and-greets to ensure not just safety, but the peace and comfort of each dog. I’ve had dogs most of my life and regularly care for pets for friends and local families. I’m comfortable with seniors, medications and dogs with different exercise needs. I also offer drop-in care for cats, chickens and other small pets in their own homes. I work about 10 minutes from home and can usually come home at lunchtime when needed. Dogs get plenty of yard time before and after work, with evenings and weekends available for walks, play and attention. I’m a particularly good fit for dogs that are already comfortable relaxing at home during a normal workday. I can also accommodate midday meals, medications and other care needs. Visiting dogs live with us as part of the family. They’re welcome on the couch or bed and can use the dog door if they’re comfortable with it. My fully fenced, half-acre yard includes a large lawn, orchard, garden and sagebrush-covered hillside with lots of room to run and explore. Chickens are kept separately in an enclosed coop or their own fenced area. I’m directly on the Steamboat Ditch Trail, so walks start right from the house. I’m also happy to take energetic dogs on longer walks, hikes or runs.

Cody and Emily were wonderful, caring, and attentive, and the regular pictures and updates showed us just how happy and comfortable our dogs were. We have experience with it all; new puppies and kittens, as well as older furry friends who may need special treatment and/or administering medication. About: Ive grown up with dogs of all kinds. I have experience training and breeding ranch dogs in Texas and live in a forest setting on the summit giving dogs the opportunity to run free safely. Im currently working part time and am consistently home during the week and holidays. I have a very active dog of my own who gets multiple walks and play time all day. About: I’ve owned and cared for anywhere from 2-5 dogs and 2 cats at a time my entire life, most of which have been rescues of all ages, sizes, and behaviors. I’m comfortable with administering oral medication, using feline inhalers, and caring for animals from puppies and kittens to senior dogs. I am generally available every day from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, but can start earlier or end later as needed. On Mondays I am only available until 3:00 PM. Animals love me and I love them- be it hiking and exploring a lake, throwing sticks in the yard, frolicking in the snow, taking a short stroll, chasing a feather on a stick, or just kicking our feet up for a chill day. I have 3 friendly dogs and 2 cats at my home (one laid back, one spunky 1.5 year old) and a large, unfenced area in the woods where dogs can be leash walked or free roam. There are 4 litter boxes and 2 cat trees throughout the spacious multi-floor house. My own dogs are outside playing the majority of the day with water bowls and a bowl puppy pool outside or cooling down inside.

About: I have had dogs in my house since before I was born and have never gone a day with out dogs living at home. I love to take my own two dogs on walks and would love to help out others that don’t have the time or ability to take their own out on walks all the time. I currently have my two dogs, two cats and a little zoo made up of different types of pets. I typically work early mornings and I am off by noon most days so a quick afternoon walk is ideal for me. My services are available almost everyday from noon to five in the afternoon. Since I have so many of my own pets I prefer to pet sit at the clients house. I mainly offer dog walking but for any quick day trip over overnighter I am able to stop by to care for your pet and meet their needs.
About: Dogs have been in my life since as long as I can remember. Taking care of animals is something I enjoy and therefore, do diligently. I understand the relationship between pets and their owners and I take care of anything you are worried about during your absence. I currently live on a completely fenced .5 acre lot with a mix of grass, dirt and matured trees. If your dog spends time here they will spend it playing with my two dogs, swimming in the river down the street or sleeping in the shade. I currently work from home, so I am available whenever is needed. Your pets are my priority, so I am sure to make my schedule around their comfort. I have a fenced in yard and an endless amount of healthily, safe dogs treat and activities for them. Pets will be constantly in view to prevent any “one off” situations.

About: I've had dogs my entire life. Right now, I share my home with my own corgi, who is fine with other dogs. I walked dogs in college, and now I am a PhD student with multiple days when I work from home. I am a PhD student and work from home several days a week, so I will be available for play time and outdoor breaks. I already have a routine with my dog where I take her out every two to three hours, but I will be available to let your pet out more often if needed. I live in a house with a small fenced yard and a nearby park for walks. I have my own dog to keep yours company.

About: We have taken care of animals all our lives and have a genuine love for each of them. About: My dog recently passed away at the age of 16, so I am just trying to get my doggy fixes in. I would love if they could join me for a run or hike. I currently work full time at an office M-F but come home for lunch for an hour. But I can guarantee a morning, lunch and evening walk (or activity) I live in an adu apartment but have a big open backyard and don’t mind pets on furniture if you don’t mind them on furniture.

There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. About: Our best friend left us last year; a 15-year-old golden retriever, and he was our most important experience in training for dog care. My experience with elderly dogs and puppies has made me seasoned and skilled in practicing patience and understanding. My preparation for your stay is thorough, our yard is locked and mostly sterile, with room for your dog to stretch their legs and have a run around about as often as needed. I have two 24/7 pet hospitals on speed dial, and we have two vehicles ready for quick transport should the need arise. My schedule is open with a few dates in the near future taken. Otherwise, I am able to start at 6:30am daily. I can generally keep your pet until later into the evening and overnight. Alignment Before our first sit, we will do a brief Meet & Greet to establish your pet's comfort zone. Are they high energy? That's good! I like showing pets affection, especially if they're anxious. Subtle body language cues that mean "I need space" vs. "I want a quick head scratch." A typical day under my care is predictable, peaceful, and entirely low stress: Feeding, water refreshes, and calm, low-energy relief walks. I speak in a soft voice. I cohabitate quietly. If your pet chooses to sleep under my desk or across the room, I let them be. If they approach for attention, I offer gentle, calm affection. My workspace is out in the open, and we have stair blockers to keep them with me on the ground floor. I send one or two brief text updates a day to confirm all is well. Photos will always be candid shots taken from a respectful distance—no forcing your pet to pose or look at the camera. While I practice a "light touch" approach, I am highly vigilant. I will immediately step in and contact you if I notice any of the following deviation triggers: Refusal to eat or drink over a period of time that is specified by you, since many pets are different. I will reach out if they stop drinking water when they should be, taking issues like this very seriously. Signs of physical distress (pacing, heavy panting, whining, or lethargy). Changes in bathroom habits or accidents in the house. Your pet's health is my number one priority. My place will be ready for your loved one: I pet-proof my home room-by-room, anticipating jumping, digging, scratching, chewing, or trash-rummaging, while inspecting my space from a pet's eye level. I maintain eyes on, supervise all toy playtime to prevent swallowing broken pieces. I use gates to block access to stairs. I will hide cords, easily swallowed things, and make sure it's clean. I vacuum regularly, secure window screens, and keep doors to dangerous rooms closed.

It was our first time leaving him with someone and Nayla very kindly sent lots of photos and videos. It was clear our pup was LOVING his time playing with Nayla, Zeina, and their many other dog friends too. Nayla was also super helpful and flexible in coordinating drop off and pickup for times that would work with our flights. Overall it was such a great experience and we can’t recommend Nayla enough!!”
