“Priscilla watched our very active German Shepherd puppy and did an excellent job. Communication was great. She responded quickly to any messages sent. We would definitely use her again!”

“We have been bringing our Minnie to Barbara to daycare and over night boarding off and on for the last 4 months. Minnie loves it at Barbara’s. This last boarding, we were away on vacation for 2 weeks. We received constant communication. Minnie always looked very happy, especially having Barbara’s own 2 dogs to play with as well. When we came to pick Minnie up, she was so happy. Barbara did a fantastic job caring for our fur baby while we were away. We will continue to use Barbara’s services.”

“Veronica was a gem to work with. She was very sweet and gentle with my dog. She communicated quickly and clearly and I had no issues whatsoever with her. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Angelita was great! She took great care of our English bulldog Taz. Even though he is a high maintenance dog, she still took the time to do his daily wrinkle cleansing and we really appreciate that. She was very accommodating to a last minute extension of our trip. We are thankful for the care of our fur baby.”

About: I grew up in a farm and have always loved animals! From dog walking to running, or relaxing, fur babies need love too! Book today! I have availability as listed on the calendar and can be flexible if needed. I am able to provide potty breaks as needed or requested by pet owner. I am able to carefully care for the pet by ensuring a safe environment. Getting familiar with each environment is important. I live in a fenced home that will allow the pet to enjoy privacy, safely.

About: I have fostered kittens and I am really good with their care. I am able to provide them a safe home where they can peacefully grow up and then be sent to their forever home. Some parts of their care include bottle feeding, stimulation to go potty, and keeping their temperature right so that they can maintain their body heat. It is extremely heart warming and rewarding whenever I take in tiny little kittens and they grow up into healthy and playful cats.

About: I have owned and taken care of many types of animals for many years. Being raised in the country, we had cats, dogs, horses, chickens, rabbits, ducks and a goat. There is no more unconditional love than that we get from our pets. I feel they deserve the same.
About: Me and my family have raised our dog Soske since he was a puppy, about 6 years now! My sister and I trained him and through my experience with him I’ve learned a lot about dogs and taking care of them. The biggest priority for me when taking care of animals is safety, with fun being a close second. I’m a masters student at UCSD and have a lot of free time when I don’t have classes. Anytime I’m not busy with coursework or studying I’d love to spend taking care of pets! Whether it’s going on walks or taking care of your pet in your home, my biggest concern is ensuring the comfort and safety of you and your pet. I’ll do my best to watch over and entertain them like they were my own.

About: I’ve been the family baby/dog sitter since I was 13! My whole family have always had pets and relied on me to take care of them! I’ve also taken care of my neighbors dog for several years enthusiastically. I’ve always found dogs to be the closest comfort, which is a reason to trust me. I’d take care of your dog like my own, as I hold them mine very close to my heart. I have a part time job working with kids, so I’m very available to book! I’m fully available four days of the week and I always have time to spend with your fur friends before and after work. In my home, I occasionally use a crate for my german shepherd, most of the time he is loose. He’s gotten accustomed to sleeping on my bed or my parent’s bedroom and we feed him early in the morning. Following his morning meal is a long walk. We make sure he’s well groomed with daily brushing and a wash once a week. Levi has allergies so we make sure to always apply topical remedies and purchase a high quality kind of dog food.
“Julie did a stellar job spending the day with our oversized toddler, Jethro. He can be stubborn, so it takes a special kind of person to connect with him- Julie was that person today. We will definitely book with her again in the future!”

About: On a daily basis I take care of multiple dogs of different breads and multiple rabbits. This allows me to have properly suited qualification towards an animals rabbits and needs. Taking care of my pets is not only a nisisity but something I enjoy doing. Each of my dogs are fed morning and night and both have different diets and needs. I make sure they get enough exercise, attention, and am constantly seeking their greater health. I feed my animals at the time time each meal to reduce any bloating and also provide water at all times. Each meal has additives to improve their gut health, fur coat, and overall health. Depending on the dog I also use slow feeders to reduce choking and fast eating.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 15. I love animals and do my best to ensure they are receiving my best care possible. That can mean ensuring they get their medicine on time, or simply ensuring they don’t pee on your carpet. I’ve taken care of dogs, spiders and snakes. I promise, your pets are in good hands. I am a full time college student, but have plenty of slots in between classes, which are perfect for walking or training dogs for 30-60 minutes at a time. I love to take pets on walks to ensure they have plenty of time to use the restroom. I’ve walked dogs in sketchy areas with aggressive strays, and have yet to run into a problem. I’ve also had leashes malfunction on me, but I ensure the pet is back in your care without a worry.

“Kat was very responsive and attentive to our pups! She was happy to accommodate a stop in visit at the last minute and gave us plenty of updates along the way. I would definitely recommend her services! :)”

“Brandan is great with our one year old fur baby! Simba has separation anxiety, but Brandan stays patient with him and attends to his needs to make him comfortable. Simba is always excited to go to daycare as he starts to show excitement when we approach Brandan’s home and runs up to his door! If you are looking for someone who is compassionate and trustworthy; Brandan is the one!”

About: Hi, I'm Darron, but most people know me as Dingo. For most of my life I've been guiding people through outdoor adventures. From whitewater rafting on the Kern River to exploring the backroads and trails of Kern County, helping others experience the outdoors has always been my passion. Today, I bring that same passion to dogs. I founded Dingo's Wild Side because I believe most dogs need more than a walk around the block. They need opportunities to run, sniff, explore, problem solve, and experience the world the way dogs were designed to. Every adventure is built around safety, enrichment, and fun. Whether your dog joins a small pack hike or enjoys a one-on-one solo adventure, my goal is simple: Send them home tired, fulfilled, and smiling. What Makes Me Different Small Pack Sizes I intentionally keep groups small so every dog receives personal attention. Real Outdoor Adventures These aren't neighborhood walks. Dogs explore ranches, trails, river corridors, parks, and natural areas throughout Kern County. Adventure With Purpose Every outing provides: Physical exercise Mental stimulation Confidence building Socialization Environmental enrichment Safety First Every adventure is carefully planned around weather, terrain, group dynamics, and each dog's individual needs. My Experience Hundreds of dog adventures completed Professional outdoor guide background Experienced with large and high-energy breeds Comfortable with multi-dog management Experienced with reactive and shy dogs Strong understanding of canine behavior and body language When your dog joins me for an adventure, you can expect: Safe transportation Careful pack management Plenty of exercise Fresh air and exploration Photo updates Clear communication Most importantly, your dog will have an experience that goes beyond a typical walk. My Promise I treat every dog like an individual. Some dogs need miles of hiking. Some need confidence. Some simply need a chance to get outside and be a dog. My job is to figure out what your dog needs and help them thrive. Caring for dogs isn't something I do on weekends—it's my full-time career. I've built my life around helping dogs stay active, engaged, and happy through safe, enriching outdoor adventures. I love dogs, and I take the responsibility of caring for them seriously. About: My experience ranges from newborn to senior care. Family has trusted me to care for their dogs and cats while on vacations. I currently am a mama to two 7 month old kittens, after my labrador mix passed away in July. I currently work full-time for the school district, but I am available in the evenings and weekends. I will be available full-time during the summer months of June, July, and half of August. Also available full-time during school breaks such as Spring Break and the 2 weeks of Winter Break. I have a fenced in backyard but I can not currently house any pets in my house. I have two cats and I feel housing a dog would cause issues.
About: I've been raising dogs since I was a teenager. I've literally raised them from birth, I've got experience breeding dogs and have helped them during the birth process. I just recently became a cat owner so I don't have very much experience with them but am learning new things all the time about them. I'm not the grooming type so if you want nails clipped or trimming done I suggest seeking someone else for that. I'm okay with giving them baths but that's about the extent of it. I've walked up to 3 dogs at once so I'm efficient in walking dogs. As shown in my headline I'm a big animal lover, they're my weakness, kryptonite, Achilles heel. I'm more emotional over their deaths than humans. My availability varies due to having a part time job and having animals of my own to care for but I'm capable of juggling all that I make sure my pets always have food & water, I also make sure they go outside to relieve themselves and just to get some exercise
About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a little girl. I grew up taking care of my dogs and my dad and mom have always taught me how to care and take care of my pets. When I was around 10 years old I started walking my neighbors dog and dog sitting when they went out of town. I also pet sit for the people I used to nanny for when they went on vacations. I have 4 dogs at home that I love so much. I hope you will give me the chance to help out. I am currently working part time at a private school with autistic children. I have scheduled sessions Monday through Friday. I am able to work around it if you communicate with me. I am also pregnant! I take care of my dogs always make sure they are fed in the morning and night and give them fresh water daily. I will assure you I will take care of your dogs as my own. I will keep you updated on your little fur babies!

About: I've had pet dogs of different sizes across my life, and I've met very few dogs that didn't get along with eventually. I volunteer time at a local animal shelter to walk and play with the dogs there that need it. I have an open routine at the moment, so I am able to accomodate your schedule. My pets are used to walking at odd hours in the summer, so I'm sure they won't mind 😁 This should be pretty straightforward, as I'm offering walking and home visits. I will not board dogs, as my other pups don't like the intrusion.

“Shanna was awesome. She communicated and sent picture updates of our puppy through out his stay. This was our first time using Rover and Shanna made the experience an amazing one.”

“I’ve never had my dogs literally excited once they realized they were being dropped off at a dog sitter before. This is my second time using Sara and when I was standing at her front door to drop them off, my elderly dog was scratching at the door to be let in! Both dogs immediately acted like she was family. Highly recommend”

“I cannot say enough good things about Kharlee. She took such good care of Chloe and even helped me out of a bit of a jam the next day. Leaving a pet is such a stressful experience for both the pet and the parent, but Kharlee really put us both at ease. She even sent photos throughout the day showing Chloe enjoying her temporary accommodations. I happily recommend Kharlee and would definitely request to book her if I am in the Bakersfield area again.”

“Such a wonderful experience, Jill and Liz go above and beyond, they treated our pup like their own and took great care of him, sent us pictures and updates throughout his vist. We would absolutely recommend.”
