“Amy is awesome. We have a 13 week old puppy that had never been boarded previously and did not have all of his vaccinations. Teddy, the Teacup Maltipoo had quickly worked his way into our hearts and we were very concerned about boarding him any place where there wasn't constant supervision. We were going to be gone for the entirety of a day and late into the evening and didn't know what to do so that Teddy would get the attention he needed and our concerns alleviated. Amy was very willing to pre-meet us beforehand to make sure that Teddy would fit in well into her home and that Teddy would be comfortable. Amy was even willing to rearrange her schedule in order to accommodate us. We met with Amy, her husband, and her dogs. Amy was very willing to answer our questions and reassure us that Teddy would be well cared for. She is an extremely warm hearted person who is a total animal lover. We felt so reassured that we decided to go ahead for our first DogVacay experience with Teddy our puppy. Amy sent us gobs of pictures and a video snippet throughout the day. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine because I've always been around dogs and enjoy spending time with them. While I am usually unavailable on Thursdays and Sundays, I do my best to be flexible and accommodate pet owners' needs whenever possible. As long as we stay in contact and communicate clearly, I can work with schedules to provide reliable care. I am committed to making sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and giving them plenty of attention and companionship. I understand that pets are most comfortable when their routine stays consistent. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can have peace of mind while they're away. Having cared for and nursed four French Bulldogs and been around many different dog breeds, I'm comfortable adapting to each pet's individual needs and personality.

I work full-time but seasonally at a large local hotel and my hours vary. I have a very flexible schedule and can work around calendar based obstacles. I find that most animals actually like to stay in their own yard, but if need be, I do have decent sized back yard and it is secured by brick walls / concrete barriers.
