About: We absolutely love animals, and want to share our home and fenced yard with your pooch. We understand what it’s like to leave your dog with someone else while you’re away; we will treat your dog like a member of our family. I (Diana) grew up on a farm with lots of different animals and dogs, and understand how each one has their own fantastic personality. Just let me know what they need, and I can do it. We’ve had puppies, older dogs, big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between! My tween/teen kids are kind and fun with animals, and will provide even more love and attention for your dog while they stay with us. Thank you for trusting us with your favorite furry buddy! We primarily work from home so we can spend a lot of quality time with your dog. We have a Newfoundland-poodle mix of our own, so our daily routine is already focused on dog care (feeding, walking, letting outside, etc). Just let me know what your dog needs! We also have goats, chickens, outdoor cats, and a couple of feral peacocks that hang around the property. It’s a pet paradise. 😊 We have a large fenced yard and a big goofball named Hoagie to keep your doggy company. We will love and care for your dog as if he/she was our own, because that’s what we would expect for Hoagie while we’re away. We have extra pet beds, food and water dishes, etc. Our yard is perfect for a game of fetch, a sunbathing session, playtime with Hoagie, or just a great sniff. We’re happy to have your dog sleep in one of our bedrooms, take them for walks, and give them all the love.

Hailey not only accommodated my last minute plans so I could still go on my trip, I completely messed up the booking and she had no clue problems accommodating this as well. I've also worked for 10+ years with a local rescue, raising kittens only days or weeks old until they are old enough to be fixed and adopted - feeding them milk on a regular schedule and then weaning them onto wet food, then dry food, also teaching them how to be a cat by interacting with my cats. “We came to Nevada City for a wedding and needed to find daycare for our dog Buckeye. Aron had wonderful revues and lots of repeat customers, so we felt good about leaving Buck with him. It was a great experience and Aron was as wonderful as his revues. We especially enjoyed receiving photos of Buck enjoying himself in the wading pool while we were at the wedding. About: I’ve taken care of and have had animals all my life. I have a very sweet frenchie named Scarlett and a snake named Frito. I have taken Vet Tech classes so I am skilled in things like animal handling, reading body language, and physical exams. My clients are now primarily dogs and cats, but I am experienced and open to accepting all animals! I have experience with live-stock guardian pets, reactive animals, high energy pets, and pets that just want to relax all day. I am comfortable and familiar with animals who have anxiety, boundary reactivity, resource guarding issues, behavioral issues, puppies, senior animals and so much more. I’ve worked in shelters, on farms, and in training for over 10 years. Your animals will be treated just like my own-with love, respect and understanding! I am typically unavailable Tuesdays and Thursdays, but always feel free to ask about a particular Tuesday or Thursday and I may be able to schedule with you. About: I have lived with dogs my whole life, both during the puppy stage and senior stage. Both dogs being huskies, I will take them on runs or walks in weather that is comfortable for them. I will often take dogs out on runs or walks if the weather is comfortable to them, and spend time daily having fun and keeping them well fed. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I have a big fenced yard with both grass and forest to run and play. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love. I know they miss their people and its not the same without you, but I do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable.
