“I give Lena my highest recommendation as a dog sitter! I am writing this review in reference to our experiences on two separate occasions. The first time we had Lena sit for our dog Daisy (a 4 yo pit mix) was a great experience. We always look for someone to watch Daisy who enjoys spending time with her and wants to have fun and Lena went above and beyond by not only taking Daisy on walks but also all sorts of hikes and adventures (we even got a cool photo of her wearing sunglasses!). Lena also dealt with some issues of Daisy having to go potty in the middle of the night very competently and professionally. She watched Daisy for 11 days and Daisy was well taken care of and happy when we picked her back up. The second time we had scheduled with Lena to watch Daisy for one night and Lena had a family emergency come up (a totally valid reason to cancel). Instead of simply leaving it to us to find a backup, Lena helped coordinate with her roommate to watch Daisy, which worked out great. Lena that she is not only able to take great care of dogs, but she is also a thoughtful and responsible person.”

About: I grew up taking care of all kinds of animals including hamsters, bunnies, and even fish. I currently have two dogs in Southern California-a jack russel and a pitbull I adopted from a shelter. They are the loves of my life. I just graduated UC Davis and spend a lot of time at home so I am free all 7 days of the week, 24 hours a day, no preference. I live in a house with a huge backyard. Pets are free to roam as they like. I also offer taking your pets to Toad Hollow Dog Park, where I used to take my Jack Russell as well as daily walks.

And when I am working, regardless if I’m at home or out in the field, my boyfriend will take over. I have a fenced yard with two very friend golden retrievers. Georgia is 2 and Randy is 1. We have a dog door for frequent potty breaks and our yard is very secure so there’s no chance of your dog getting out. I have extensive knowledge of dog behavior and welfare, and am able to confidently care for many different types of personalities. I will start veterinary school in the fall, and plan to fit visits in around my class schedule. I commute from Esparto to Davis/Woodland daily and am easily able to make stops anywhere near this commute. I am currently working Wednesday-Friday 7:30am-4pm, With a small window of availability for short 30min walk on my lunches between 12pm-12:30pm. I am available on my workdays anytime before 730am and anytime after 4pm! In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and keep things tidy while giving your pet consistent care and companionship. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your dog is happy and well taken care of. During walks and visits, I focus on safety, using secure leashes and staying aware of surroundings, while also making sure your dog gets plenty of exercise and attention. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality and energy level, whether they need active play or a slower, more relaxed pace.

“I give Lena my highest recommendation as a dog sitter! I am writing this review in reference to our experiences on two separate occasions. The first time we had Lena sit for our dog Daisy (a 4 yo pit mix) was a great experience. We always look for someone to watch Daisy who enjoys spending time with her and wants to have fun and Lena went above and beyond by not only taking Daisy on walks but also all sorts of hikes and adventures (we even got a cool photo of her wearing sunglasses!). Lena also dealt with some issues of Daisy having to go potty in the middle of the night very competently and professionally. She watched Daisy for 11 days and Daisy was well taken care of and happy when we picked her back up. The second time we had scheduled with Lena to watch Daisy for one night and Lena had a family emergency come up (a totally valid reason to cancel). Instead of simply leaving it to us to find a backup, Lena helped coordinate with her roommate to watch Daisy, which worked out great. Lena that she is not only able to take great care of dogs, but she is also a thoughtful and responsible person.”
