Both are known to struggle with other dogs, including each other. I was honestly preparing for this to simply be a safe, calm stay...what we got was something truly incredible. From the very beginning, Mark asked all the right questions about behavior, needs, routines and safety. It was clear he understood these were not "easy" dogs and approach their care with thoughtfulness, patience and professionalism. I encouraged him to try socializing them only if he felt right about an opportunity. To our complete surprise, Brownie and Odie became best friends almost immediately in his care. This is something we have not been able to achieve in a shelter environment and seeing that transformation was nothing short of amazing. There has always been some sort of animal in my house hold whether thats a small dog, a big dog, a couple of cats, birds or guinea pigs. My relationship with my animals has always been a mutual respect for each other without any issues in the past with authority which is due to my training and conditioning with my animals. I’ve made my home a safe and loving environment for my animals with their best interests considered first with daily physical and mental stimulation with fun games and walks as well as nutritious diets containing real food. I’d love to get to know your pup and take him or her on long walks. I dont have a very packed schedule so ill have plenty of time to play with your pups and kitties! Im able to walk or feed your dog before 9 am and at around 12.30 in the afternoon every weekday as well as boarding your pup or kitty at my house or watching your dog overnight at your home every week day except Friday. Weekends I have more flexibility during the day and can watch your companion overnight on saturday and sunday if needed. I am flexible with day of requests for random times and can make those work every now and then. ALL PRICES ARE NEGOTIABLE. I have a fenced back yard and a very friend shiba inu and chow chow mix who is a spayed female dog and is the light of my life and a black outdoor cat. About: I've had dogs my entire life so I have experience with dogs of all ages. I currently have a dog and two cats, and I'm also trusted in my neighborhood and amongst family and friends as someone to watch their animals when they're gone. Im a full time college student but I usually always have my own animals in my bedroom with me, sitting under (or on top of) my desk while I work. I have a friendly dog who absolutely loves play dates, so your dog would never get bored. My backyard is quite large so the dogs have tons of room to run around and play. The fences are regularly checked for holes under them to ensure our dog can't get out. I also have two large cat cages in my home where each of my cats sleep, but if needed, they can sleep in the same cage and the other one can be used to provide your pet some privacy, with their own food and water dishes. I have many many many interactive cat toys so even while i'm working, they can play with the toys that are attached to my desk and walls, along with scratching posts.

I am very adept at walking and caring for reactive dogs who can have a hard time with other dogs and/or humans, and do my best to avoid any situations that can trigger reactive behaviors. I often have people remark about their pets who usually don't warm up to new people immediately taking a liking to me! No matter what mood I’m in, my interactions with animals often leave me in a positive state of mind. I work full time, Mon-Fri from 8-4:30. Any time outside of this I am happy to work doing sitting or walking, and I’m open to staying overnight. I can be somewhat flexible with your needs. I am looking to supplement my income, but also just really enjoy having animals in my life and can’t have them in my own home. My landlord does not permit animals in the building, so I would have to come where your animals are. I can either walk a dog from your home, stop by for feedings , or house-sit as needed.
About: I have experience working at a vet office, and worked dogsitting overnights and drop ins throughout my college career. I've had animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and even horses, but I have a special place in my heart for dogs, and have one of my own who is one of the loves of my life! Im able to walk or feed your dog before 9 am and at around 12.30 in the afternoon every weekday as well as boarding your pup or kitty at my house or watching your dog overnight at your home every week day except Friday. Weekends I have more flexibility during the day and can watch your companion overnight on saturday and sunday if needed. Sonja's facilities were the deciding factor for us when choosing a sitter. She has a beautiful 2 acre fenced property which doubles as a doggy day care.
