“This was my first experience with Rover. Lara was referred to me by someone on Nextdoor. I dont know the neighbor who referred Lara. And I met Lara once in-person to introduce her to my cats. I was a little nervous about having a stranger in my house. But, I’m so glad I went with trust instead of fear. Lara is very communicative. She sent regular updates and photos of my girls, and left the house spotless. She asked questions when she had them. And, best of all, I had no worries while I was away. The last time I was a way for a few days, one of my cats was a little cranky with me. Not this time. All three acted like I never left. 😐 I highly recommend Lara. About: Dogs have been and always will be one of my greatest loves! My childhood dogs made my life so much more meaningful. When our own kids were growing up we had two dogs which we adopted as puppies and had the pleasure of having until they passed from old age. Both our son and daughter are Rover dog sitters and we have greatly enjoyed helping them care for these amazing dogs. Now, we are ready to take care of our own! About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends, relatives and clients for years. Our house is their pets’ second home when they travel or need us. I can do the same for you, too. During the weekend I am mostly home. Weekdays, I partially work from office and home. There is plenty of time to spend time with your pet or walk them frequently. My husband works from home full time, so there is always one or two adults at home. We live in a single house with a fenced backyard, and there is a big greenbelt right outside our backyard ( see images). Therefore it’s very convenient for frequent walks or play time for your pet. They can also meet other dogs as well. As a family, we are comfortable with being around furry friends. We volunteer with my daughters at a local farm cleaning, caring, patting…. Love it! Our own cat-Zeytin is very calm and friendly. We love to play, walk, cuddle, spend some quiet time with our pet and guest pets and will do the same with yours, too. “Shannon and her husband were so wonderful with our dog Luna! This was her first stay and we were a little nervous but Shannon did a great job at communicating and giving us updates on how she was doing. Luna absolutely loved them and is looking forward to her next stay.”
“I do not have the easiest dog. Natasha took the time to understand my dogs quirks and he had a great stay. She sent pictures often and I felt she really cares about dogs and is incredibly dedicated of dog sitting. I would let me dog join her pack again in a heartbeat.”

“Ben was spectacular! Dobby really loved his place, and Ben was really communicative about how he was doing, sending photos within minutes of being messaged, and just generally we felt Dobby couldn’t have had a better stay. Ben clearly has tons of experience, and was even fine administering ear drops for a last minute ear infection we discovered 24 hours before drop off. Plus, Ben’s daughter was adorable and Dobby couldn’t get enough cuddles in. :)”
“Taylor was very responsive and proactive in her communication. My dog was super tired when he got home which seems to be a result of the activity and time she invested while watching him. 10/10 would recommend! My dog even ran out of food so she went to the store to pick up more!”

“I was lucky to find Michelle and Michael. My dog is young golden retriever with high energy. Michelle and Michael gave my dog plenty of cuddles and attention. They gave my dog long walk and played fetch with him. Michelle sent me updates frequently that helped relieve my separation anxiety. I couldn't be happier to have my dog stay with Michelle and Michael, who are really nice and caring people.”
