“She was definitely an angel! I had a dog emergency and needed him to stay the night with someone so i found lisette on rover and when i tell you she’s the sweetest lady I have ever met! If I could give her 100 stars I would :)”

“Would highly recommend!! Communication was superb and my doggies were treated like additional members of the family. I received lots of pictures and updates that made me feel confident that they were in great hands and enjoying themselves!! Will definitely be using again ❤️🫶”

“Sarawari and her son are super friendly people. Their house is big and has a giant backyard for my husky to run around and play in. We will definitely be coming back whenever we need someone to watch Rocky.”

“I rarely give top marks (5 Stars) to anyone; however, Sara went above and beyond to care for our girls: Luna and Luci Lu! We had just moved into the area, and needed to find a new sister fast. Sara came through with flying colors! Thank you so much for being there for us.”

“Michelle was great with Bailey. Michelle sent pictures and videos of Bailey having fun and plenty of interaction with her and her family. I was worried that Bailey may not want to come home. But she did and I was glad we found Michelle. Thx”

“Melissa was the perfect person to take care of our Sara. She had a great time with Melissa’s pups and family. She kept us informed on how Sara was doing each day. This was great for us as it was Sara’s first boarding experience. We know Sara had a blast!! Melissa thank you for welcoming Sara, Rich and I. We enjoyed you and meeting your family!! Hugs 🤗. Thank you.”

“Our pups had a great time at Pranavi’s house again! They love running around and lounging in the sun in her backyard. We got lots of pictures and updates throughout their stay.”

“Amy and Justin are fantastic dogsitters. Right away from their meet n greet/interview you can see that they are committed to providing the best, personalize care for your pup. Lots of photos, great communication and details of the stay. Clover seemed to fit right in with their household. She even received a sweet handmade card from their oldest child that said, "I love Clover". 🥹🩷 Will definitely be booking again with them!”

“It was comforting to know that Jennifer has so much experience dog sitting through Rover.com. A few hours after we dropped off our pup, Jennifer sent us a picture of her and a note that said she is doing well. We were able to enjoy our trip without any worries. I would absolutely leave Maggie with Jennifer and her family again.”

“Blaze was so friendly, so easy to reach and quick to respond! She spent a long time answering questions at our meet and greet and, once we booked, sent frequent photo updates throughout our dog’s stay with her. Sonoma was so happy and comfortable there. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again with Blaze.”

“Sharon and Albert were awesome! They took great care of my dog and sent pics every day. I really felt as though he was in great, safe hands while I was away. They have a nice, securely fenced yard with room and toys for the dogs to play. Would definitely book with them again!”

“Alexa is the best dog sitter you could possibly find. I get feedback photos of my dog enjoying her stay every day. She goes above and beyond to accommodate her clients and my dog loves her so much. In fact, I think my dog is very sad today because Alexa is not here.”

“Irina did a great job taking care of our Chiweenie named Petunia. We met prior to our vacation. It seemed like a good match and we ended up using her for the week we were gone. She sent photos as requested took Petunia for walks and overall did a great job.”

“Barbara and family was very kind and welcoming to my dog. She asked all the questions that made me feel like my girl was going to be well taken care of even to the extent of switching her sleeping habits to my dog’s. I highly recommend! Thank you so much for taking care of my girl!”

“We were able to enjoy a much needed vacation out of state while our fur baby was in good hands. We received many photos of Jax throughout his stay and were able to check in on how he was doing. This was his second stay with Abraham and family, and only second stay away from home. We are relieved to have found a safe and reliable boarding option when away from home.”

“Ruchi and Nitin are absolutely amazing! They took care of our two boys for an entire week, and I couldn’t have asked for better sitters. Every single day, I received photos and videos without even having to ask. You can truly feel their love for animals in everything they do. Ruchi even went the extra mile and cooked rice for our picky eater, Hulu, which got him to finally finish his kibble. It honestly felt like a vacation for our dogs. They got along wonderfully with Ruchi and Nitin’s pups, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were in caring hands. We even got a fun ChatGPT cartoon of one of our dogs during the stay. Their rates are also reasonable. Highly recommend this kind, thoughtful couple to anyone looking for trustworthy pet sitters.”

“AMAZING!!! Got plenty of updates and pictures of my babies when I was gone on my trip. My frenchies had no problem meeting their new friends. Will definitely use them again. Thank you soo much!!! 💜🤩”

“Debbie is the best!! We recently lost our long time dog sitter and were anxious about leaving our senior dog with GI issues and anxiety with someone new while we left town for a few days with limited cell service. Lila didn’t even want to come home when we picked her up!! She was very comfortable with Lila’s needs, sent us updates and was flexible on pickup time. I’ve used a lot of dog sitters in my time and she is one of the best!! So competent, communicative and a true animal lover. Thank you Debbie!!”

“We couldn’t be happier with Chelsea’s care for our cats, Sol and Luna! From the moment we met her, it was clear she loves animals and treats them like her own. She kept us updated with daily photos and messages, which really gave us peace of mind while we were away. Chelsea’s attention to detail, like making sure their favorite toys were out and giving them extra cuddles, truly made a difference. We highly recommend her for anyone looking for a reliable, loving pet sitter. Sol and Luna give her two paws up!”

“Honest, caring, careful. Rilyne wanted to get everything right from the first communication to the delivered love and the last message. Respectful, mindful, communicative, timely. My cats were happy! I look forward to booking her again!”
About: I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care tailored to each animal’s needs. With dogs, I’m comfortable managing feeding schedules, daily walks, exercise routines, basic training reinforcement, and administering medications when needed. I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and positive interaction to keep dogs happy and well-behaved. For cats, I’m experienced in maintaining clean litter boxes, feeding routines, grooming, and creating a calm, stress-free environment—especially for more independent or shy personalities. I pay close attention to behavior and health cues in both dogs and cats, ensuring any changes are noticed early. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own, prioritizing their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind knowing their animals are in caring, capable hands. I currently live and work full-time for Amador County. Outside of my 9-5 Mon thru Fri county work I am available for house and pet sits. I prefer to pet sit in clients homes, feeling that as little change as possible in a pets environment can reduce stress and separation anxiety.
About: I have been around breeds of all kinda. I have even taken care of a neighbor 3 dogs. They had a basset hound, boxer and an american bull dog. I currently do have pets but it doesnt give me the option to list since they are not cats or dogs. I have 2 geese, 6 ducks, and 5 chickens I love being around animals. It will be able to work with me and be able to be home for my daughter when she gets home from school. She loves dogs and cats. I will be able to care for the fur baby or babies in the client's home while they are away on vacation or just out of town for a few days. About: I’ve always had pets in my house since I was young, I currently have a German shorthair pointer that is always up for a run so we are both active I am currently not working so I have time to take care of your pup or cat so they don’t feel lonely while you’re at work or running errands. I make sure my pup can run around and get his energy out in the gated yard, and make sure he isn’t getting into things he shouldn’t.

“Cole was great, communicative and sent lots of cute photos. My cat is skittish but he was very patient and she opened up quickly. I felt super relaxed knowing she was well taken care of!”

About: I’m a huge cat person and grew up with Mainecoones! Cats are such wonderful emotionally intelligent creatures and deserve a care taker who understands them or at the very least strives to! I promise to be that! I am very loving, kind and calm around kitties and have lots of experience training and taking feral cats even! I look forward to getting to know your kitty friends!
“Shileen is excellent. It was quite obvious that our German Shepherd got attached to her quickly. Since she has two dogs of her own, she related to Gabby in no time at all. She played catch with her, walked around the properly with her, and updated us with photos daily. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog under her care. I will be requesting her dog sitting services again.”

“Christine was amazing! Our senior kitty was well taken care of and she even accomodated us when we extended our trip abroad. I was able to enjoy my trip knowing Christine was looking over our kitty, we will be booking her again!”

“Charlene did an amazing job watching my cat while I was out of town for several days. My cat doesn’t always take quickly to new people, but it was clear that she became relaxed around Charlene quickly. I received frequent updates and was confident that my cat was getting both care and engagement from her staying there. And Charlene was clear in her communication so that we were always on the same page. There were a lot of delays the day I was supposed to be heading home and it wasn’t clear that I would make it home the day I was supposed to. Charlene offered to do whatever she could to check in on my cat and make sure she was looked after still if I didn’t end up making it home. It’s clear her care and concern for animals, even shy kitties. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.”

“We recently moved to the area and were in need of someone to care for our senior cat. We found Linda and we are so glad we did! She is kind and professional and she takes her job seriously. She took great care of our kitty and even sent us pictures of a kitty that hangs around our property. We are happy knowing we have Linda for any cat care needs in the future.”

I’m attentive to feeding routines, litter box cleanliness, and behavior changes, and I take the time to build trust with each cat at their own pace. About: Hi! I've been in the animal care industry for over 20 years now, starting as an assistant at my local Veterinary clinic in high school. I have an Animal Science degree from UC Davis, and worked at the School of Veterinary Medicine there for over 6 years. I love dogs and have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities! I have over five years of experience with training as well, and can provide opportunities for extra activities (walks, runs, trick training for enrichment, etc.) if requested. I’m so excited to help care for your pets when available, providing enrichment, exercise, or more. I am only available two days a week so that I can be sure to provide your pet with the time and dedication they deserve. I have been training dogs professionally for over five years and have experience with dogs of varying temperaments and training levels. I am happy to work with your pet to feel comfortable, and meet them at their training and comfort level.
About: Owner Away? I’ll Sit and Stay. I am willing to take care of your dog at my house or yours and have been an avid lover of our furry friends for as long as I can remember. Besides caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish and gerbils of my own in the past, I have been declared the animal whisperer in my family. I am currently a third-year student studying to create prosthetics for animals at Cal Poly University and volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind as well as two other organizations that foster and rehouse animals to their furrrever homes. I would love nothing more than the opportunity to meet with you and your pet to give them the best level of care while you're away and to help you feel confident in trusting to leave your fur baby with me. I am currently taking this quarter off of school to focus on work and so I have quite a bit of free time as my job only requires that I work from home. That being said, whatever availability is required to fit your needs, that is a department I am more than flexible to appease. Ideally, I would like to offer care in the client's home, whether that be pet/house sitting or just walking the dog. In that situation, I would be more than happy to take care of upkeeping the household if need be (i.e. water plants, take out the trash, pick up the mail, etc.) I live in an apartment complex where smaller animals are allowed so depending on the client's case, I can try to accommodate housing arrangements in my home instead.

“Seriously the best place if you are looking for a dog sitter. My anxious dog hates being away from me but she has found a second home here. I drop her off knowing she will be well cared for, safe, and happy. So grateful to have finally found a family who understands her!”

“My high-energy large Lab and Golden Retriever puppy had an amazing day with Michelle and her family on their farm, and came home tired and well-cared for ❤️. Hope they will be able to visit again soon! Thank you again!”
About: Hi, I grew up around several different animals of all sizes from rodents/reptiles to livestock/dogs. I have always had at least one dog in my life at all times. The more the merrier. I love all animals big and small. I worked at a kennel where I learned about boarding and training dogs for about a year and I have pet sat for about 15 years in grand total. I currently work at a pet store in Sutter Creek. I love being around dogs and training or even just hanging out and playing. I am a outdoorsy person. I have experience with livestock animals also. Horses, cattle, chickens, Lhamas, mini animals, donkeys. I have references also if you would like them. Our home is completely fenced and sits on 3 acres. We have two friendly german shepherds. I work part time so some days I am gone at work. But our 17 year old daughter is always home. We also go to church Sunday morning so we would be gone for a couple hours but otherwise we are always home. I care for pets in my home as I would my own. I have 3 German Shepherds. 10 months to 7 years old. As for in home pet sitting I would follow whatever routine you have set for your fur babies already so it would be easier on them.

“Shannon and her husband were amazing! They're very caring people. They also have a French bulldog which was a plus for our frenchie. When it came time to pick up our pup, she didn't want to leave. That's the best sign of a successful playdate. Anyway, we highly recommend Shannon and we will definitely be using her again. Thanks, Shannon!! :)”

“Sara is obviously great with animals and I’m so thankful she was able to watch my high energy dog on short notice. Perfect yard and she took him on walks during the day. Will definitely book again!”

“This was my first time using ROVER.and am completely satisfied!! We arrived at our hotel and learned that while it is pet friendly you can’t leave your animal unattended. We had planned two days of motorcycle riding and having him ride in front of me was not an option. In a panic I downloaded Rover from the App Store and found Michele!! The entire family was AMAZING!! Their dog CC made Moultrie feel at home. In fact he had such a great time the first day that he bounded into the house the next morning! THANK YOU for everything!! Jessica”

“Linda was ready to take care of our pups when we arrived. She has tons of experience with many dogs and we felt at peace leaving our two there for the day while we went to see the Sequoias. If we come back to the area and need a sitter again we will certainly contact Linda!”

“Henry and Sharon have been amazing dog sitters for my 7month old puppy Bodhi. They watch him for puppy daycare one day weekly. They are very communicative and reliable and make sure they understand your dog’s personality and care needs so they can make it a comfortable and positive stay. We had a meet and greet with their dog Rufus prior to setting up daycare and Bodhi and Rufus play very well together. They always send a Rover card documenting how the day went with photos and potty breaks. They even go above and beyond and give Bodhi mental enrichment with puzzles and healthy treats. Thank you Sharon and Henry for taking such good care of my little boy!”

“My furbaby had so much fun staying at Alyssa’s! I loved seeing the pics of my puppy playing in the backyard with Alyssa’s son. They were having an absolute blast! Highly recommend”

“Blaze is absolutely THE BEST! I needed someone last minute and she was available and took amazing care of my dog. He helped her do all the fam chores this morning, met a bunch of new animals and loved her kids. Would recommend 1000%”

About: I have been a full-time puppy whelper for the past 8 years and come highly recommended with lots of references. I welcome all different breeds. I am always home. While I do have to pick up and drop off my children for their various sports and activities, it’s just a five minute drive away.I am always available. Plus, I’m attending school online from the comfort of my home. I live on 1 1/2 acres with a mini horse, two small goats that like to visit the neighbors and two potbelly pigs. Additionally I have two older French bulldogs who are house trained and very friendly, as well as two cane corsos who get along well with all animals including pony, goats, and pigs- they’re all pals! All of my animals are well-behaved , and I’ve often been told I should’ve been a vet or a dog trainer because of my love for animals. I have two separate backyards-one for the smaller dogs and one for the bigger ones. However I’m accustomed to rotating them due to my experience as a whelper. I know how to manage introducing new dogs and keeping them separate if needed. My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors, and they sleep in the house at night. I’ve set up set up my garage to be cozy and welcoming for dogs to stay in at night.
“On June 28th, my super pregnant wife and I did maternity photos about 30 minutes away for a few hours and we had the absolute pleasure (and Oso's) of having Abraham and his lovely family look after Oso. This was our 2nd time leaving our energetic pup with him, his family, and 2 dogs. We know Oso always has the best time because we receive updates/pics of what he's up to and he's always smiling from ear to floppy ear. Whether it's playing with his 2 furry friends, going on walks, or shopping at Whole Foods while riding in a shopping cart, my wife and I were grateful that Oso was in the best hands. They watched him for about 6.5 hours and when we picked him up, he looked like he had the best day and was ready to come home and rest up! (Which is a welcome bonus for us). If you need a babysitter for your dog, Abraham and Co. are the best people to call.”

“Michelle and Dave are amazing! I knew I had found the perfect sitters within minutes. Truly dog lovers. My three year old Pom Chi has never had day care, she loves them! I highly recommend them!”

“Alexa was wonderful with our shy pup Ollie. She sent regular updates and photos throughout the day, which gave us such peace of mind. Ollie takes time to warm up to new people, and Alexa was incredibly patient and she let him come around on his own terms. We’re so grateful to have found someone we can trust with our little guy. Highly recommend Alexa!”

About: I have always been in love with animals, and so from a young age I have always been the one to help a person babysit there fur babies if needed, and what better way to spend time making money, taking care of different amazing animals. It brings me pure joy!:) I am pretty flexible and could do it any day of the week, but I prefer not to do over nights unless you are gone for long periods of time. I always make sure that other peoples pets are comfortable with me, and have everything that they need, and more. One on one time with the animals are also important to me as the bond clicks faster. I will always make sure everyone’s animals are 100% being taken of with only the best care! And loved!!!!

About: I was raised on a ranch with all kinds of pets. I can't recall life without dogs we are so fortunate to have them in our lives they are unconditional in the love and affection they give . I was in dog rescue for 21 years as a foster. I had 7 dogs all were what was considered not able to be put in a home do to behavior issues the only option for these dogs was to be euthanized so I kept the rejects and had to stop rescue as to the inn was full and I still dog sat for the dogs that had been at my home until a new home was found . I have extensive experience with all types of dogs . I have a cat who pretends dogs do not exist so she just stays away, my cat was a ferel rescue cat and is now a fat and sassy house cat . I have a large home so have part of it sectioned off where her litter box and food are to keep dogs out of both . If I house sit I have experience with farm animals for feeding. I garden so watering is in my range. I'm home 80% of the time so I'm available. I may run a errand but that's about it . If weather permits and you have a road dog car rides with me are perfect. I spend a lot of my time cooking and blogging I cook for seniors in my community. If I'm gardening outside the dogs are welcome to be with me. I have a double lot so plenty of play room . Half of it is fenced for plenty of play room . I have a crate if needed . Your dog will have free roaming access in my home and allowed on the furniture . If I'm sitting your pet in your home it's your home and your rules that I follow . I have passed my Background check here on Rover to take care of your fur babies. I have passed my 2nd Government Background check to take care of children. I have passed my 3rd Goverment Background check to take care of elders . The point is I want you to be assured your fur babies are safe with me .

About: I have been owned by cats and dogs in the past. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). Do they do well with new people? I prefer not to sit pit bull terriers, but mixed breeds I don't have a problem with. About: Enrichment. Walks. Adventure time. With me, you will always have an energetic individual who will go the distance! I go hiking 3+ days out of the week and am a natural pet-lover. This would showcase that I will always have the stamina to walk with your animals. I also keep a tight schedule and vow to always stick to the routines, recommended needs, and other care information that you provide. At the end of the day, a pet is truly a human’s best friend and deserves the best care. I hope you keep me in mind when you need an individual to look after your animal! Only the best care for them. I also have a reactive dog in-training, so I have tons of hands-on experience! Sincerely, Shileen Andico I’m currently working full-time as a teacher, with summers off and breaks during holidays! This leaves me available for all times available for walks, check-ins, etc! Working with a reactive dog, I understand that care and making a dog feel safe is always top priority! I will ensure that your dog will feel comfortable with me.

About: I’ve raised puppies, kittens, baby birds, chickens and various other animals, I’ve also had experience working on a dog farm and groomed various types of breeds. I’m available for part-time work and am flexible when it comes to scheduling. I am open to working Monday-Sun as long as it’s planned at least a week in advance. I have a fenced large yard with two separate deck areas, I am open to bringing the pets over and housing them or going to a clients house and pet sitting, walking or even bathing if needed in a comfortable and familiar place for the pet.
About: I adore animals. I have two dogs of my own that I love more than life. I can provide dog sit anywhere that works best for you! I am currently working a part-time job so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups. I have a very flexible schedule. I enjoy playing with pets to encourage their mental health along with physical health. I will report any concerning issues and will go on walks as scheduled
About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life and grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, and a wide variety of animals. That background allows me to confidently care for pets of all temperaments—from high-energy dogs to those that need extra patience and structure. My home sits on 11 acres, giving dogs plenty of safe space to explore and get real exercise not just short walks. I also live a very active lifestyle and make sure every dog gets the movement, playtime, and attention they need to feel happy and comfortable. Your pet won’t just be ‘watched’—they’ll be cared for, exercised, and treated like part of the family. I provide a clean, safe, smoke-free home and send regular updates so you always have peace of mind while you’re away. I’m available every day after 2:30 PM and fully available on weekends. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, allowing me to give consistent attention, exercise, and supervision. I prioritize reliability, so your pet’s schedule stays consistent and stress-free while you’re away. I provide a safe, clean, and structured environment on a peaceful 11-acre property. Pets always have plenty of space to explore while remaining supervised. I follow each owner’s specific instructions closely, including feeding, routines, and any special needs. I can crate if requested and ensure all animals are separated when needed for safety and comfort.

About: I grew up on a small ranch with animals my entire life goats/sheep/cattle/dogs/cats/fish/hamsters majority of everything. All animals welcome we have plenty of room. I breed goats so there are always babies around and some of my guardian livestock dogs are in there senior years. My animals aren’t allowed inside of my house so it’s a sterile environment for puppies without shots or antisocial animals. If you want them to get accustomed to goats or cats lmk I’ll make it happen. I’m currently just doing college online so my schedule is pretty free. I work part time remotely as well so it has no real schedule. I get very restless when there nothing to do and my animals need me only once a day so would love to give my attention to something else. My personal home is a 10 acre ranch that’s fenced in. There is 1 acre fenced in around the house to keep separate from the livestock and my dogs. So any animal on my personal property that I board will have more of their own domain and environment. At a clients house if there’s no yard walks are gonna be the next best thing, or any in-house games. Make sure the get some energy out so meal time/bath time/medication will be smoother. All changes with the pet and environment though.
“I cannot say enough good things about Meghan and Peter! To say I was nervous about leaving my dog for a week is an understatement. 🫣 After talking with Meghan for 5 minutes, I was completely comfortable and knew this was the right place for Clover. She is so kind, loving, and gentle. Her communication was detailed and I received pictures, updates, and reassurances. ❤️ Clover was SO happy to have 3 doggie friends to run and sniff with! (She honestly seems a little bored now at home! 😆) Peter was very generous in accommodating our pick up time, which really was above and beyond. Needless to say, I would not hesitate to book with them again. Thank you! ☺️”

“Gina watched our Lou for a few days. She was amazing and gave Lou Lou lots of attention and walks. After we picked up Lou, she adjusted right back to home. Normally, after a kennel stay, she would have been out of sorts for days! I will definitely use Gina again in the future! Thanks again!”
