About: Animals are my thing. I have dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and sheep, many who are rescues, and I love them all. I have been taking care of animals ever since I was a young child and thought about becoming a vet, but I became a teacher instead. I am off work for the summer and many of my weekends are free now that my children are all teens and above. I am located conveniently near the 145 and highway 41 in the Madera Ranchos. On your way to Yosemite? Going to have some family time in Fresno? I’ll take care of your pet for you. Your dog will join the pack for its stay and relax or play on the 2 acres of fenced in land. I’m a teacher so I have open availability in the summer and on most weekends. I can check in on your pets in the afternoons or evenings when I’m working. I have 2 acres of fenced in yard. I also offer the dogs time to cool off in the pool and a large house to hang out in. If you want me to drop in on your pets at your home in the afternoons and weekends, I can do that too.

“First time using Rover so I was a little bit nervous but Donna was AMAZING!! She spent a ton of time with my sweet boy! She sent pictures, took him on a walk, and even taught him a new trick (I literally booked her to drop in twice). You could just tell how much she cared about his comfort and well being; for instance, our heat went out and when the temperature dropped she offered to drive an extra two hours to bring him a heater! We live super far away from her and yet she still took an extra trip to come meet all of us. I could not recommend her enough! She’s wonderful!!”

About: Always had one or more dogs around in the family for as long as I can remember. I’ve always enjoyed being around them and while I currently don’t have a dog of my own, I figured offering my time to spend with others dogs would be a great way to spend my time. I’ve also had experience working at a local pet store for a few years where daily cleaning of puppy cages and feeding was required as well as administering parvo shots to customer’s dogs and advising them on proper food choices. Typically busy between 10am-12pm during the weekday but can make exceptions if needed to take care of your pets during that time. Other than that, pretty much have time to check in or provide playtime and walks between 8am-8pm Doing a meet and greet with pets before spending extended amounts of time with them to not only get to know the animal but also address any concerns that you may have as well.

With extensive experience training and caring for dogs, I understand that every pet has their own personality, routines, and needs. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers quiet companionship, we strive to make their stay as stress-free, enjoyable, and personalized as possible. With my own business, I often work from home, and my husband, currently transitioning careers, attends college part-time. One of us is typically home, complemented by our part-time groundskeeper who tends to our animals and builds structures for them on weekdays. Additionally, we have a weekly gardener and housekeeper to maintain our home and garden. Our expansive backyard, nearly a full acre, is fully enclosed by a chain-link privacy fence. It features a spacious grassy area, automatic water systems for the dogs, and ample shade on the porch equipped with fans. For added security, we have commercial-grade cameras surveilling the property 24/7.

About: I've grown up with German Shepherds, and can lift up to 70 pounds. I often house sat for friends and family. One in which had me take care of four dogs and four cats. My jobs included feeding, walking, and playing with the dogs.
